MODEL. # SGN 12
High Power - Line Output Converter - 2 Channel - Fixed - 50 Watts per ch.
Stinger SGN12 is a high power line output converter, which converts high level (speaker level) input into low level (RCA level) to be
used with amplifiers or processors. SGN12 also eliminates Noise & Distortion due to alternator whine, power feedback and other
interferences. It provides full D.C. isolation between head unit and amplifier while providing a correct load for the head unit. The
Stinger SGN12 installation is simple and can be used with floating ground or common ground head units.
Installation Location: The SGN12 can be installed anywhere the radio's speaker leads can be intercepted. Installation behind the radio
or at the rear speakers is acceptable.
Wiring Connections: Input - R Right Channel: Connect the Input of the SGN12 positive (+) and negative (-) wires of the source
unit's speaker. L Left Channel: Connect the Input of the SGN12 positive (+) and negative (-) wires of the source
unit's speaker. G Optional ground sometimes used to eliminate minor noise problemsl.
Output - The output of the SGN12 will be connected to the amplifier or equalizer by means of male RCA
connectors
Final Adjustments: Once all wiring connections are made you will have a full range of volume control.
Specification: Input: 50 Watts per channel Max. - Output Impedance <150chm - Frequency Response: 20Hz to 20KHz +/-
2db - Distortion: <0.3% - Input / Output Ratio: 10:1
