ASSEMBLY

1. Secure lower tube with tube support to the hub of the base with the screw provided.

2. Extend upper tube, insert the tube connector through upper pipe onto lower tube and tighten.

3. Attach the motor with switch compartment onto the upper tube. Ensure the switch compartment is pushed fully onto the upper tube and secured with the screw provided.

4. Loosen Guard Mounting Nut from the Motor Housing.

5. Position Back Guard firmly to Motor Housing and then fasten by turning Guard Mounting Nut clockwise tightly.

6. Push the Blade along Motor Shaft. Fasten it firmly with Spinner by turning counter clockwise.

7. Place the front grille securely on top of the back grille and lock in place using the securing clips.

OPERATION CONTROL

♦ Before using the fan, make sure that it is on a flat and stable surface. Damage may occur if the

♦ Insert the plug directly into a standard AC socket-outlet. Be sure that the plug fits tightly into the socket-outlet.

How to operate the fan

On: Press the speed button of your selection to turn on the fan. Press 1 to get the low speed, press 2 to get middle speed, press 3 to get high speed.

Off: Press 0 button to turn off the fan.

Swing: Press the button found on the motor housing to start the oscillation of the fan

CAUTION

♦ Do not use this appliance near water.

♦ Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

♦ Never immerse the motor unit, cord and plug into water

♦ If the appliance fell down into water, unplug it immediately, then take it out and bring it to authorized Service Center for checking

♦ Never use the appliance with wet hands

♦ Never use the appliance on a damp floor

♦ Never use the appliance with an extension lead

♦ Never use the appliance with the damaged wall outlet

♦ Any examination, repair or adjustment must be done in an authorized Service Center.

Do not repair the appliance by yourself! If the opening of the appliance is detected, the

appliance's guarantee will be canceled.

♦ Never use the appliance near or on the hot surfaces

♦ Never let the cord hang over the edge of the table or touch any hot surfaces

♦ Always unplug the appliance when not in use/before cleaning

♦ Do not let children play or use the appliance

♦ Give a high attention when the appliance is being used near the children

♦ Use the appliance only for it’s direct purpose

♦ Never expose the appliance to fall down or to be kicked

♦ While using the appliance, please, observe the safety precautions

♦ Use the appliance in a well ventilated area. While in use, ensure that the air-intakes or exhaust openings are not blocked un-expectedly and the appliance distance from the wall or corner is more than 20 cm. The appliance should not be placed below or besides any curtains or similar

♦ Incorrect operation and improper handing can lead to malfunctions of the appliance and injuries to the user

♦ To avoid mechanical danger when in use, do not insert, or allow fingers, or any other objects into the grill. Do not block the air-intakes or the exhaust openings in any manner.

♦ If the appliance has been used with infringement of guide’s instructions, the appliance’s guarantee would be canceled and consumer would repair the appliance at his/her expense

♦ This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

CARE AND CLEANING

To safely take care of your fan, please remember to follow these instructions below:

♦ Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet, and allow the fan to stop completely before cleaning the fan

♦ Do not allow water to drip on, or enter into the fan housing

♦ Always use a soft wet cloth to clean the body, and vacuum cleaner to clean the dust from the blades

♦ Do not use any of the following agents as a cleaner: Gasoline, Thinners, or Benzene

♦ In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock

♦ Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft damp cloth.

♦ Do not attempt to remove the fan blades. Please use caution around the motor housing area.

♦ Do not allow the motor, or other electrical components to be exposed to water.

♦ When storing your fan in the off-season, it is important to keep it in a safe dry location. It is important to protect the fan head from any dust. We strongly recommend using the original box, when storing the fan away.

NOTICE ABOUT RECYCLING

Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components which can be recycled and reused.

This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment, at their end-of-life, should be disposed of separately from your household waste. Please dispose of this equipment at your local community waste collection/ recycling centre.

In the European Union there are separate collection systems for used electrical and electronic products.
