Set up the PSPrMpersonalportableentertainmentsystem

The three types of MultiplayerGame that can be created are
Single Race, Tournamentor Time Trial. The host is
responsiblefor class selection, league selection, track
selection(only applicablein MultiplayerMode Single Race
and Time Trial),ship selection(host'sship only)and options
selection.Finally,the host must pressthe E buttonto access
the session lobby.The list of playerswho have joined the
sessionwill be displayedin the lobby.When ready,the host
must pressthe E buttonto commencethe game.

Wireless (WLAN)MultiplayerGames being hosted in the

lobby. When the host of the session is ready to begin, a

races that have already commenced,and once the host

Select 'Game Sharing'from the Home Menu. Your PSPrM
system will attempt to locate other PSPrMsystems that are
currentlycapable of sending Game Sharingdata, within a
range of 10 metres.
Once a suitablePSPrMsystemhas been located,follow the
on-screen instructionsto send a request to the host PSPrM
system.The GameSharingtransferwill commenceonce the
requesthas been accepted by the host, To end data that has
been receivedvia the Game Sharingfacility,either switch off

leave the track following a steep jump and lose vital race
seconds,but the recoveryservicerun by AG SalvageShuttles
alwaysensuresa swift returnto the race for stricken ships.

Each ship has built-in left and right airbrakes to ease
manoeuvringround difficult corners. Particularlyuseful at
higher speeds,competitorswho master the airbrakesgive
themselvesa better chance of success.

Producinggood lap times in somegamemodeswill resultin the
productionof a ghost ship,againstwhich performancescan be
measured.Ghost ships can be saved to MemoryStick DuorM
and only one ghost ship per track per class can be stored.
In all Single Player modes except Free Play Mode, winning
medals is the key to progressing.Gold, silver and bronze
medals are awarded for a top three position in Single Race
Mode and TournamentMode. Medals are also awarded for
beatingpresettimes in TimeTrialMode and preSethigh scores
in Zone Mode.Collect medalsto unlock hiddenfeatures.

pick-ups which are obtained at random by flying over
coloured weapon pads embedded into the circuits. Press the
lO button to activate pick-ups or fire weapons. Look out for
chevron-shaped speed pads which are also embedded into
