Frequently asked questions

You'll need to connect the supplied temperature sensor to the controller, run the cable into the oven, and secure the sensor near the soldering area. Then, connect the oven's mains plug to the controller's socket. Ensure the sensor is in contact with the board being soldered for accurate temperature readings.

The controller supports ovens with a maximum power consumption of 1500W. It's important to use an oven that can heat up to the required temperature and doesn't exceed the sensor's temperature resistance of 260°C.

You can change parameters either through the display interface or by connecting the controller to a PC via the USB port. The display allows you to adjust the 'Preheat', 'Soak', 'Reflow', and 'Dwell' phases for each of the five profiles.

The 'Learn' process is essential for the controller to understand the oven's characteristics. It involves heating the oven to a specific temperature and then measuring the cooling rate. This data is then used for subsequent soldering processes.
