The Ministry of Education collects data from schools at different times throughout the year. These are known as Data Collection Submission Periods. The data collected may vary depending on the school type and time of year.

The Validation Report checks for errors and warnings in the data submitted to ensure completeness. For example, an error message will be generated if the Special Education flag is checked, but the Special Education form is not completed.

Verification Reports help to find errors in the data by comparing submitted data to aggregate numbers and detailed records. You can access them through the OnSIS blue menu bar. You can check off reports to be verified, or select all, all summary reports, or all detail reports.

This function allows you to clear out and reset data in selected forms. This is helpful if you incorrectly entered information and want to start over.
