WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
Alle Tätigkeiten, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie in
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.
Falls Sie das Produkt einmal an eine andere Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie bitte
diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät
vermerkten Spannung übereinstimmt bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Personen (einschließlich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physischen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ihrer Unerfahrenheit oder
Unkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das Gerät sicher zu benutzen, sollten
dieses Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht oder Anweisung durch eine
verantwortliche Personbenutzen.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, das sie nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Anschlussleitung und das Gerät auf Beschädigungen. Bei
Beschädigungen an Anschlussleitung oder Gerät, darf das Gerät aus Sicherheitsgründen
nicht mehr benutzt werden. Für Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann (*).
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen,
noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle.
Eine beschädigte Anschlussleitung sollte von einem Fachmann (*) ausgewechselt werden.
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen oder
bevor Sie es reinigen.
Für Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann (*).
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder knicken Sie diese
nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile, ebene Fläche.
Benutzen Sie nur kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser aus
Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der Maximum- und
Minimummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen Sie stets ob der Wasserstand nicht unter die
Minimummarkierung gelangt, da dies zu Beschädigungen des Heizelementes führen
könnte.
Während des Erhitzungsvorganges des Wassers sollte der Deckel sachgemäß geschlossen
sein.
Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Teile, sondern benutzen Sie den Griff.
Achtung! Wenn Sie zuviel Wasser einfüllen, kann der Wasserkocher überkochen und
kochendes Wasser kann herausspritzen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen, da beim Kochvorgang heißer Dampf
entweichen kann.
Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn erneut füllen oder reinigen.

Benutzen Sie den Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen Sockel.
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Dazu drehen Sie den
Temperaturwahlschalter bis zum Endanschlag - Position „MAX“ und schalten den
Wasserkocher am Griff ein. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3 mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte
den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
GEBRAUCH
Sie können mit diesem Gerät Wasser zum Kochen bringen oder auch nur auf bestimmte
Temperaturen, wie z.B. auf 80°C für spezielle Tees erhitzen.
Kochen: Um Wasser zu kochen benutzen Sie die Schalter „0“ und „I“ am Griff. Den
Temperaturwahlschalter drehen Sie bis zum Endanschlag - Position „MAX“ . Füllen Sie den
Behälter mit der gewünschten Menge Wasser, achten Sie aber darauf, dass Sie die Minimalbzw. die Maximalmarkierung nicht unter- oder überschreiten. Drücken Sie auf die Taste „I“. Die
Kontrolllampe leuchtet und zeigt an, dass der Wasserkocher in Betrieb ist. Nach dem
Kochvorgang schaltet ein Dampfschalter automatisch den Kochvorgang ab. Die
Kontrolllampe erlischt.
Achtung: Zum automatischen Abschalten dient ein Dampfschalter, der sich im Griff befindet.
Hier kann Dampf kondensieren und eventuell als Wasser am unteren Teil des Griffes
heraustreten.
Erwärmen: Sie können am Temperaturwahlschalter auch die gewünschte Wassertemperatur
vorwählen. Damit die gewählte Wassertemperatur erreicht wird, sollten Sie die Füllmenge von 1
Liter nicht unterschreiten. Im allgemeinen ist dafür eine Abschalttemperatur von 80°C üblich.
Stellen Sie den stufenlos drehbaren Temperaturschalter auf die Position 80°C. Am
Dampfschalter im oberen Griffteil drücken Sie die Taste „I“. Das Wasser wird sich erwärmen und
der Wasserkocher schaltet sich bei erreichter Temperatur automatisch ab. Während des
Erwärmens ist ein Aufheizgeräusch hörbar. Wenn dieses Geräusch verstummt, hat das Wasser
die entsprechende Temperatur erreicht. Kühlt das Wasser auf ein bestimmtes
Temperaturniveau ab, schaltet sich der Wasserkocher erneut ein.
Schalten Sie nach dem Erwärmungsvorgang das Gerät durch Drücken der Taste „0“ am Griff
aus. Die erloschene Kontrolllampe zeigt an, dass es ausgeschaltet ist.
Achtung: Ein nicht ausgeschalteter Wasserkocher taktet so lange weiter, bis das komplette
Wasser im Behälter verdunstet ist. Dann tritt die Funktion des Überhitzungsschutzes ein.
Empfehlung: Gerät 10 Minuten abkühlen lassen, bevor wieder Wasser eingefüllt wird.
ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
•
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät
abschaltet, wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde. Beachten Sie bitte,
dass sich hierbei nur das Thermostat ausschaltet, die Schalter aber in der An-Stellung
bleiben.

Falls dies vorkommt, bitte das Gerät ausschalten, indem Sie die Schalter in die Aus-Position
„0“ und „MIN“ stellen und den Stecker ziehen. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten und gießen Sie
kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher.
Der Wasserkocher wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder
scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
Den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter fließendem Wasser
reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken ein handelsübliches, flüssigen Entkalkungsmittel oder besser, aus
Gründen des Umweltschutzes, Essig.
Bitte beachten Sie beim Entkalken:
•
Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in das Gerät, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
•
Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark dosieren! Bitte Gebrauchsanweisung der Entkalkungsmittel
beachten.
•
Bei Entkalkung mit Essig-Essenz max. 2-3ml verwenden.
•
Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
•
Nach Entkalkung den Behälter mit klarem Wasser ausspülen.

Elektronik-Altgeräte nach bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den

Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.

Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!
NACH ABLAUF DER GESETZLICHEN GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSFRIST
Reparaturen können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice
ausgeführt werden.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack
of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or
appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent
qualified service(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent
qualified service (*)
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*).
Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning or when the
appliance is not in use.
All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician(*).
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in
any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Only use fresh (potable) and cold (moderate) water. Do not use water contained in
bathtubs, washbasins or other recipients.
Always fill between the minimum and maximum marks. The water must never be below
the minimum mark or the heating element might be damaged.
When using, make sure the lid is closed correctly.
Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance. Always use the handle.
In case you have overfilled the appliance, hot water might escape.
Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that evaporates when the water is boiling
and especially when you open the lid.
Always let the appliance cool down before cleaning or filling it again.
Only use your appliance with the appropriate base.
Competent qualified electrician : after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
Before the first use or after descaling, it is necessary to operate the jug kettle with fresh water in
order to clean any residue left from the manufacturing process. To do so, turn the temperature
knob to its MAX position and press the switch situated near the handle. When the boiling
process is over, pour the water. Repeat the process 3 times with fresh water. Then rinse with
cold water.
USE
With this appliance you can boil water or you can heat it up to a certain temperature, for
example till 80°C for special teas.
Boiling: to boil water, use the switches "0" and "I" on the handle. Turn the temperature knob to
the MAX position. Fill the jug with the desired amount of water, making sure that the water level
is between the minimum and maximum indication of the level indicator. Press switch "I". The
pilot light goes on, indicating that the appliance is operating. After the boiling process, a
steam switch automatically switches off the appliance. The pilot light goes out.
Caution: a steam switch situated on the handle allows automatic switch-off. Steam can
condensate and some water could escape from the handle.
Heating: you can set the desired temperature with the temperature knob. In order to reach the
desired temperature, it is necessary to pour at least 1 litre of water in the jug. The generally
used switch-off temperature is 80°C. Press the switch "1" at the level of the steam switch on the
upper part of the handle. The water will heat up and the jug kettle will switch off automatically
when the desired temperature is reached. If the water cools down to a temperature lower
than the set temperature, the appliance starts heating again.
Switch off the appliance after having heated water by pressing the switch "0" on the handle.
The pilot light goes out, indicating that the appliance is switched off.
Caution: if you do not switch off the appliance, it will keep operating until the water in the jug
kettle has completely evaporated. When this happens, the overheat protection will be
activated. Hint: let the appliance cool down for 10 minutes before filling it anew.
SAFETY CUT-OUT

This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device if accidentally switched on
without water. Please bear in mind that only the thermostat is switched off in case of
overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
In this case, switch off the appliance by putting the switches in "0" and "MIN" position and
wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool. Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover
the element.
The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Never use abrasive products
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.

DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the jug, you have to descale it. To remove scale from the jug
kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose, liquid descaling products or for
the sake of environmental protection you can use vinegar.
When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
•
First pour some water in the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
•
Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
•
When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
•
Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
•
After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT– DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.
TERMS OF GUARANTEE
For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to
intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear
and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete
appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only
be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs
repair.
Or send the appliance cleaned, well packed and with a short, easily readable description of
the default as well as the receipt freight prepaid to our customer service in our firm in Bad
Blankenburg.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of
worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
AFTER THE LEGAL PERIOD OF GUARANTEE
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

Toute réparation doit être réalisée par un service qualifié compétent (*).
Veillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et entreposez-le dans un endroit sec.
Ne pas utiliser d'accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant, cela peut présenter un
danger pour l’utilisateur et risque d’endommager l’appareil.
Ne déplacez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le câble. Veillez à ce que le cordon
d’alimentation ne puisse être accidentellement accroché et ce, afin d’éviter toute chute
de l’appareil. Evitez d’enrouler le cordon autour de l’appareil et ne le tordez pas.
Posez cet appareil sur une table ou un support suffisamment stable pour éviter sa chute.
Veillez à n’utiliser que de l’eau fraîche (potable) et froide (tempérée). Ne pas utiliser l’eau
contenue dans des baignoires, lavabos ou autres récipients.
Si votre modèle comporte un socle séparé ou un cordon amovible, veillez à les séparer de
la bouilloire lorsque vous la remplissez. Si votre bouilloire est associée à un cordon fixe,
débranchez le cordon avant de remplir la bouilloire.
Lors du remplissage, veillez à vous situer entre les repères de graduation Min. et Max..
Vérifiez toujours que l’eau n’est pas en dessous du niveau Min. afin d’éviter une
détérioration de l’élément chauffant et ne dépassez jamais le niveau max car si votre
bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante peut être éjectée.
Veillez à ce que pendant le fonctionnement, le couvercle soit correctement fermé.
Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes de l’appareil, faites usage de la poignée de
l’appareil.
Attention de ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur qui s’échappe lors de l’ébullition et
spécialement lors de l’ouverture du couvercle.
Veuillez laisser refroidir votre appareil avant tout nouveau remplissage ou avant
nettoyage.
Votre bouilloire doit être utilisée uniquement avec le socle qui lui est associé.

AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Il est nécessaire de rincer votre bouilloire avant sa première utilisation ou après l'avoir
détartrée. Pour cela, remplissez-la au préalable avec de l’eau froide, mettez le bouton de
température sur la position MAX et mettez la bouilloire en fonctionnement à la poignée. Une
fois l’eau arrivée à ébullition, videz la bouilloire, laissez-la refroidir, rincez-la et ensuite répétez
l’opération 2 à 3 fois, en veillant à remplir la bouilloire exclusivement avec de l’eau claire.
UTILISATION
Vous pouvez utiliser cet appareil pour faire bouillir de l'eau ou pour la chauffer jusqu'à une
certaine température, par exemple jusqu'à 80°C pour des thés spéciaux.
Bouillir: pour faire bouillir de l'eau, utilisez les interrupteurs "0" et "I" sur la poignée de l'appareil.
Mettez le bouton de température sur la position MAX. Remplissez la bouilloire d'eau en vous
assurant que le niveau soit entre l'indication minimale et maximale de l'indicateur. Appuyez sur
le bouton "I". Le témoin lumineux s'allume, vous indiquant que l'appareil est en fonctionnement.
A l'ébullition, un interrupteur vapeur arrête l'appareil automatiquement. Le témoin lumineux
s'éteint.
Attention: un interrupteur vapeur situé à la poignée permet l'arrêt automatique de l'appareil.
De la condensation peut se former et de l'eau pourrait s'échapper de la poignée.
Chauffer: vous pouvez régler la température de l'eau à l'aide du bouton de température. Afin
que la température désirée soit atteinte, il est nécessaire de verser au moins 1 litre d'eau dans
la bouilloire. En général, la température utilisée est de 80°C. Placez le bouton de température
sur la position 80°C. Appuyez sur l'interrupteur "1" au niveau de la poignée. L'eau chauffe et la
bouilloire s'arrêtera dès que la température désirée est atteinte.
Si l'eau refroidit jusqu'à une température inférieure à la température sélectionnée, l'appareil se
remettra à chauffer.
Dès que vous avez terminé de chauffer l'eau, appuyez sur l'interrupteur "0" au niveau de la
poignée. Le témoin lumineux s'éteint, indiquant que l'appareil est arrêté.
Attention: La bouilloire fonctionnera en cycles jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus d'eau dans la
bouilloire. Dans ce cas, le dispositif de sécurité en cas de fonctionnement à vide se mettra en
marche. Conseil: laissez l'appareil refroidir 10 minutes avant de le remplir à nouveau.
FONCTIONNEMENT A VIDE

Cette bouilloire est équipée d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,
accidentellement. Attention, cette protection éteint uniquement le thermostat, mais
l'interrupteur reste sur la position "marche".
Si cela arrive, remettez les interrupteurs sur "0" et "MIN" et débranchez l’appareil. Attendez
10 minutes avant de le remplir d’eau froide.
La bouilloire fonctionnera à nouveau correctement.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Toujours débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Utiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
Ne jamais plonger la bouilloire ou son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
DETARTRAGE
Dès que vous constatez un dépôt de calcaire dans la bouilloire, il est nécessaire de la
détartrer. Pour le détartrage de votre bouilloire, utilisez des produits spécifiques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce, des détartrants liquides ou, par souci de respect de
l'environnement, du vinaigre.
Lors du détartrage, veuillez faire attention aux points suivants:

Versez d'abord de l'eau dans la bouilloire avant d'ajouter le produit détartrant.
•
Assurez-vous que le produit soit suffisamment dilué. Lisez le mode d'emploi du produit.
•
Si vous utilisez du vinaigre, n'utilisez pas plus de 2 à 3 ml.
•
Attention, lorsque la bouilloire chauffe, le mélange pourrait mousser!
•
Après le détartrage, rincez l'appareil deux fois à l'eau claire.

Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie : les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.
Si vous constatez un défaut, adressez-vous à votre revendeur ou au magasin et retournez
l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les réclamations
introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la
copie d’une facture de réparation éventuelle est joint(e).
Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en

Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig vooraleer u uw toestel gebruikt.
Het toestel mag enkel gebruikt worden zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven is.
Wanneer u dit toestel aan een andere gebruiker overhandigt, gelieve altijd deze
gebruiksaanwijzing bij te sluiten.
Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel
vooraleer u het gebruikt.
Personnen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of
mentale capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het
toestel niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder toezicht of
instructies van een verantwoordelijke persoon gebruiken.
Hou kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel spelen.
Controleer regelmatig of het snoer niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet indien het
snoer en/of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen. Laat het in dat geval
nakijken en herstellen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst (*).
Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een vaatwasmachine.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
Herstellingen dienen te gebeuren door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst(*).
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt of wanneer het toestel
niet in gebruik is.
Een beschadigd snoer dient te worden vervangen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde
dienst(*).
Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op op een droge plaats.
Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan
gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer
nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
Zet het toestel en/of zijn houder op een stabiel oppervlak.
Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water. Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels
of andere recipiënten.
Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker gevuld wordt tussen het minimum- en maximumpeil.
Controleer steeds dat het water niet onder het minimumpeil is, vermits dit beschadiging
van het verwarmingselement kan veroorzaken. Overschrijd nooit het maximumpeil want
als uw waterkoker te vol gevuld is, bestaat er gevaar voor overkoken (brandwonden).
Tijdens de werking van het toestel dient het deksel correct gesloten te zijn.
Raak de warme onderdelen van het toestel niet aan maar gebruik de handgreep.
Opgelet! Indien u te veel water in de waterkoker giet, zou het kunnen overlopen en
kunnen er spatten van gekookt water ontstaan.
Let erop dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die tijdens het koken ontsnapt en vooral
wanneer u het deksel opent.
Laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer het opnieuw te vullen of te reinigen.
Gebruik uw waterkoker enkel met de bijgeleverde sokkel.
Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die erkend
en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve
het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.

EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Vóór de eerste ingebruikname of na het ontkalken is het noodzakelijk zuiver water te koken en
weg te gieten om het toestel te spoelen. Plaats daartoe de temperatuurschakelaar op MAX
en schakel het toestel aan het handvat aan. Herhaal de handeling 3 maal. Spoel daarna met
koud water.
UTILISATION
U kunt het toestel gebruiken om water te laten koken of tot een bepaalde temperatuur te
verwarmen, bijvoorbeeld tot 80°C om speciale thees te maken.
Koken: om water te koken, gebruik de schakelaars "0" en "I" op het handvat. Draai de
temperatuurschakelaar blijft tot "MAX". Vul de waterkoker met de gewenste hoeveelheid
water. Zorg ervoor dat het water zich tussen het minimum- en het maximumniveau van de
peilaanduiding bevindt. Druk op knop "I". Het controlelampje gaat branden om aan te duiden
dat het toestel in werking is getreden. Zodra het kookproces voorbij is, zorgt een
stoomschakelaar voor de automatische uitschakeling van het toestel. Het controlelampje gaat
uit.
Opgelet: de stoomschakelaar die zich aan het handvat bevindt, zorgt voor de automatische
uitschakeling. Hier kan ook condensatie ontstaan en kan eventueel water aan de onderkant
van het handvat ontsnappen.
Opwarmen: u kunt ook aan de hand van de temperatuurschakelaar de gewenste
temperatuur instellen. Om de gewenste temperatuur te bereiken is het noodzakelijk minstens 1
liter water in de waterkoker te gieten. In het algemeen wordt een temperatuur van 80°C
geselecteerd. Druk op schakelaar "1" aan het handvat. Het water wordt opgewarmd en de
waterkoker schakelt zich uit wanneer de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is. Indien het water
afkoelt tot een temperatuur lager dan de ingestelde temperatuur, wordt het water opnieuw
opgewarmd.
Schakel het toestel na het opwarmen uit door op de schakelaar "0" aan het handvat te
drukken. Het controlelampje gaat uit om aan te duiden dat het toestel uitgeschakeld is.
Opgelet: De waterkoker werkt in fasen tot er geen water meer in de waterkoker is. In dit geval
schakelt de beveiliging tegen oververhitting zich aan. Raad: laat het toestel 10 minuten
afkoelen vooraleer u de waterkoker opnieuw vult.
BEVEILIGING TEGEN OVERVERHITTING

Het apparaat is beveiligd tegen oververhitting en schakelt zich automatisch uit, mocht
het zonder water ingeschakeld worden. Opgelet, enkel de thermostaat wordt
uitgeschakeld, terwijl de schakelaar in AAN-positie blijft.
Indien dit gebeurt, schakel het toestel uit door de schakelaars op "0" en "MIN" te plaatsen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en het apparaat 10 minuten laten afkoelen.
U kunt het apparaat dan weer gebruiken.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

Altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen en het apparaat laten afkoelen vooraleer
het te reinigen.
De kunststofdelen met een vochtig doek reinigen. Gebruik een zachte borstel om de
kalkafzetting op de binnenwanden weg te nemen.
Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen.
Dompel het apparaat of de sokkel nooit in water of andere vloeistoffen.

ONTKALKEN
Wanneer kalkaanslag in de waterkoker zichtbaar wordt, moet u het toestel ontkalken. Voor het
ontkalken van uw waterkoker gebruik slechts die producten, die hiervoor in de vakhandel
verkrijgbaar zijn, vloeibare ontkalkingmiddelen, of om milieuvriendelijke redenen azijn.
Gelieve bij het ontkalken op de volgende punten te letten:
•
Giet eerst water in het toestel, en daarna pas het ontkalkingmiddel.
•
Zorg ervoor dat u het product genoeg verdunt. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing van het
ontkalkingsmiddel.
•
Indien u azijn gebruikt, gelieve niet meer dan 2 à 3 ml te gebruiken.
•
Opgelet, bij het koken zou het mengsel kunnen schuimen!
•
Spoel de waterkoker na de ontkalking 2 keer met zuiver water.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw
,
apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool
niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel
gratis naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het
overeenkomstig de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal
worden.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.
Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!

AVVERTENZE

impigliarsi per evitare una caduta dell’apparecchio. Non avvolgere il cavo intorno
all’apparecchio e non storcerlo.
Mettere l’apparecchio risp. la base su una superficie stabile e piana.
Riempire l’apparecchio solo con acqua (potabile) fredda o tiepida. Non usare acqua da
vasche da bagno, lavandini o da altri contenitori.
Fare attenzione a riempire il bollitore tra il livello minimo e quello massimo. Verificare sempre
che il livello dell’acqua non sia al di sotto del livello minimo, altrimenti potrebbe essere
danneggiato l’elemento riscaldante.
Durante il riscaldamento dell’acqua il coperchio deve essere ben chiuso.
Non toccare i componenti molto caldi, invece usare il manico.
Attenzione! Se versate troppa acqua nell’apparecchio, potrebbe traboccare e l’acqua
bollente potrebbe spruzzare fuori.
Fare attenzione a non scottarsi, poiché durante l’ebollizione potrebbe fuoriuscire vapore
molto caldo.
Prima di riempire il recipiente di nuovo oppure prima di pulirlo, lasciarlo raffreddare.
Usare il bollitore solo con la base appropriata.

PRIMO FUNZIONAMENTO
Prima di usare l’apparecchio per la prima volta oppure dopo la decalcificazione del
bollitore per favore far bollire l’acqua fresca e buttare via l’acqua bollente. Girare
l’interruttore termoregolatore fino al suo arresto – alla posizione „MAX“ ed accendere il
bollitore con l’interrutore sull’impugnatura. Ripetere tutto tre volte. Dopo risciacquare il
bollitore per favore con acqua fredda.

USO
Con questo apparecchio potete far bollire acqua o anche solamente riscaldarla a
temperature stabilite, come p.es. riscaldare acqua fino ad una temperatura di 80°C per
preparare tè speciali.
Bollire: Per far bollire acqua usare gli interruttori “0” e “I” sull’impugnatura. Girare l’interrutore
termoregolatore fino all’arresto – alla posizione MAX“ . Riempire il recipiente con la quantità
d’acqua desiderata, però fare attenzione a non rimanere al disotto del minimo risp. a non
superare il livello massimo. Premere il tasto “I”. La spia di controllo si illumina ed indica che il
bollitore è in funzione. Dopo la bollitura un’interruttore al vapore automaticamente interrompe
la bollitura. La spia di controllo si spegne.
Attenzione: Per lo spegnimento automatico serve un’interrutore al vapore integrata
nell’impugnatura. Ci può condensare vapore e fuoriuscire eventualmente come acqua alla
parte inferiore del manico.
Riscaldare: Con l’interruttore termoregolatore potete preregolare anche la temperatura
d’acqua desiderata. Per raggiungere la temperatura d’acqua selezionata consigliamo però
di non riempire l’apparecchio con meno di un litro. Generalmente la temperatura di
spegnimento è di 80°C. Mettere l’interruttore termoregolatore girevole, a regolazione
continua, nella posizione di 80°C. Premere il tasto “I” dell’interruttore al vapore alla parte
superiore dell’impugnatura. L’acqua si scalderà ed il bollitore dopo essere arrivato alla
temperatura si spegnerà automaticamente. Durante il riscaldamento si sente un rumore di
riscaldamento. Quando tacque questo rumore, l’acqua è arrivata alla temperatura
adeguata. Se l’acqua si rafredderà a un livello di temperatura stabilito il bollitore si accenderà
di nuovo.
Spegnere l’apparecchio dopo il riscaldamento premendo il tasto “0” sull’impugnatura. La spia
di controllo spenta significa che l’apparecchio è spento.
Attenzione: Un bollitore non spento continua a riscaldare finchè tutta l’acqua del recipiente
sia evaporata. Ora entra in funzione il dispositivo di protezione dal surriscaldamento.
Consigliamo prima di riempire l’apparecchio di nuovo con acqua lasciarlo raffreddare per 5
minuti.
PROTEZIONE DAL SURRISCALDAMENTO

Il bollitore è dotato di un dispositivo di protezione dal surriscaldamento che spegne
l’apparecchio quando è stato acceso per errore senza averlo riempito con acqua. Nota
per favore che si spegne solo il termostato, gli interruttori invece rimangono in posizione
acceso (ON).
In questo caso per favore spegnere l’apparecchio mettendo gli interruttori in posizione
spenta “0” e “MIN” e togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. Attendere circa 10 minuti e
versare acqua fredda nel bollitore. Così si può riattivare il dispositivo di protezione dal
surriscaldamento.
Dopo il bollitore continuerà a funzionare normalmente.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

Prima di pulire scollegate sempre l’apparecchio dalla corrente di rete togliendo la spina e
lasciate raffreddare l’apparecchio.

Per la pulizia usare un panno leggermente inumidito. Depositi all’interno dell’apparecchio
possono essere eliminati con una spazzola morbida. Non usare mai detergenti corrosivi o
abrasivi.
Non immergere mai il bollitore in liquido o non pulirlo mai in acqua corrente.
DECALCIFICAZIONE
L’apparecchio dovrebbe essere decalcificato quando nel recipiente siano visibili depositi
calcarei. Per la decalcificazione usare un’agente decalcificante liquido d’uso commerciale
oppure meglio, per motivi di protezione dell’ambiente, usare aceto.

Non dosare l’agente decalcificante troppo forte! Per favore fare attenzione alle istruzioni
per l’uso dell’agente decalcificante.
Per la decalcificazione con essenza d’aceto usare 2-3 ml al massimo.
Attenzione! Durante l’ebollizione la mescolanza potrebbe schiumare!
Dopo la decalcificazione sciacquare il recipiente con acqua limpida.
DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE PER LO SMALTIMENTO DELLE APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED

Per preservare l'ambiente e la nostra salute, l'eliminazione dei vecchi apparecchi elettrici e
elettronici non più utilizzati, va fatta secondo la direttiva sopra citata che impone l'obbligo al
costruttore, al commerciante e a l'utilizzatore di consegnare gli apparecchi ai centri di
raccolta specializzati, i quali saranno in grado di smaltire e riciclare i vecchi prodotti come la

Важные указания по безопасности

Наполняйте чайник водой между мин. и макс. отметкой. Важно чтобы вода была
выше минимальной отметки, так как может повредиться нагревательный элемент.
Крышка должна быть закрытой в процессе нагревания воды.
Не трогайте горячие части прибора, берите прибор только за ручку.
Внимание: не заполняйте прибор ниже минимального уровня и выше
максимального. Если прибор будет переполнен, существует опасность, что кипящая
вода будет разбрызгиваться или переливаться через край.
Важная информация: следите за тем, чтобы прибор был правильно закрыт.
Во время работы прибора для кипячения воды возникает высокая температура и
выделяется пар, которые при неосторожном обращении с прибором могут вызвать
ожоги.
Перед последующим включением или чисткой дайте прибору остыть.

вместе с его цоколем.

Ввод в эксплуатацию
Перед использованием прибора для кипячения воды следует из гигиенических
соображений протереть его влажной тряпкой внутри и снаружи и дважды вскипятить в
нем свежую воду. Для этого необходимо поставить переключатель температуры в
положение макс „MAX“ и включите чайник (включатель на ручке).После этого сполосните
чайник чистой водой.
Использование
Чайником этого типа можно кипятить воду, а так же нагревать воду до 80° для чая.
Чтобы вскипятить воду пользуйтесь включателем «0» и «I» на ручке прибора. Переключатель
температуры поставить в положение „MAX“. Налейте в чайник желательное количество
воды, следите за тем, чтобы уровень воды был между максимальной и минимальной
отметкой. Нажмите на включатель «I». Зажигается контрольная лампочка-прибор
работает. Прибор выключается автоматически когда закипела вода. Отключается
контрольная лампочка.
Внимание! На ручке прибора находится регулятор пара. Может случиться что здесь
собирается пар и выделяется вода на нижней части ручки.
Подогревание воды
С помощью регулятора температуры, можно подогревать воду. Чтобы достичь
желательной температуры воды, необходимо наполнять чайник водой не менее одного
литра.Ставьте регулятор температуры на 80°. Нажмите на включатель «I» который
находится на ручке прибора.
Нагрелась вода до 80°, отключается прибор автоматически. Во время нагревания прибор
немножко шумит. Прекратится шум, обозначает что вода достигла желательной
температуры.
Остыла вода, прибор снова автоматически включается
Включатель на ручке прибора прекращайте процесс подогревания, поставьте его в
положение
«0». Отключилась контрольная лампочка, прекращен процесс подогревания.
Внимание! Не выклченный электрочайник подогревают воду до тех пор, пока она не
испарится, тогда включается функция защиты от перегревания.
Рекомендуется перед повторным пользованием дать прибору 5 минут остыть.
Защита от перегрева.
Прибор для кипячения воды снабжен защитой от перегрева в сухом состоянии. Она
защищает прибор от перегрева при включении его без воды или с открытой крышкой.
Если прибор по недосмотру включается без воды, то он автоматически защищен от
перегрева.
Чтобы полностью отключит прибор, необходимо на ручке прибора переключить
включатель/выключатель в положение «0». Если Вы это не сделаете, прибор не отключен,
так как термостат вколючается автоматически.
Если случится что Вы не отключили прибор включателем, необходимо поставить
включатель на «0». и„MIN“ и вытяните штепсельную вилку из розетки. Подождите
приблизительно 10 мин. и залейте в электрочайник холодной воды. Это достаточно, чтобы
активизировать защиту от перегрева.
Процесс нагревания автоматически прерывается. Перед последующим включением
дайте прибору остыть в течение 5-10 минут.

Всякий раз перед чисткой вынимайте штекер из сети.
Экспресс-прибор для кипячения воды требует мало ухода. Внутреннюю поверхность
сосуда следует мыть чистой водой и с определенной периодичностью удалять
накипь. Снаружи прибор вытирать тряпкой и хорошо высушивать. Нельзя употреблять
острые и абразивные чистящие средства.
Токоподводящий провод и штекер нельзя чистить влажным способом. Перед
включением прибора следите за тем, чтобы провод и штекер были сухими и не
имели никаких повреждений.
Запрещается полоскать прибор в посудомоечной машине.
Удаление накипи

Если вода содержит известь, прибор с определенной периодичностью следует
очищать от накипи. Используйте для этого предлагаемые торговлей жидкие средства
для удаления извести, следуя инструкции по их применению или уксус.
