UICK TIPS

Remove the faceplate of the thermostat in order to begin the programming. Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.

If the power has been applied for the first time :

• Set the current time by using the hour and minute buttons

• Set the day by using the Day button

Comfort temperature - During the day or when the heating is required

( select the Comfort temperature by pressing the button then use the arrow keys to select the temperature you require. Finally press and hold the secs until the button for approx 3

™ If you would like the same temperature for 24 hrs then go to step 1.

™ If you would like 2 settings/day (i.e. 1 heating cycle) then go to step

Temperature from morning to night (7am – 10pm) : Comfort - heating turns ON

Temperature from night until the next morning (10pm to 7am) : Economy - heating turns OFF

™ If you would like 4 settings/day (or 2 heating cycles), then follow steps 2(a-f)

Temperature when you wake up (7am) to late morning (10am or when you go out) –

Comfort - Heating turns ON

Temperature from late morning (10am) to evening (5pm or time you return home) –

Economy - Heating turns OFF

Temperature from evening (5pm or time you return home) to 10pm (time you go to bed)

Comfort - Heating turns ON

Temperature from 10pm (time you go to bed) to 7m (the next morning) –

Economy -Heating turns OFF

If you require the same temperature (only one temperature setting) for 24 hrs then:

• Press Mode button until it displays the manual icon

• Press the arrow keys for the temperature you require m

Or you can set it in the following way by selecting either the comfort or economy temperatures programmed earlier.

• Select the mode button until it displays the manual icon

• Select either the comfort or economy button for the comfort or economy temperatures, whichever may be preferred.

2 If you require more than one temperature setting, then follow the steps detailed below:

Economy

The TH110 allows you to program 4 different settings for each day of the week

For eg

The time at which you wake up P1

The time you leave (eg for work)

The time you arrive back home

The time you go to bed P4 a) Use this grid to note down your time settings for the week:

b) Set P1 or ( )

• Press Pgm to access the programming mode

• Select Day – for the day to be programmed (if you require the same time on all days of the week, press and hold the Day button for 3 secs)

• PGM to select the program – in this case P1

• Hour and Min buttons to set the time

• Mode/Ret to exit this function.

Select P1 Set time set c) Set P2 or ( )

• Press Pgm to access the programming mode

• Select Day – for the day to be programmed (if you require the same time on all days of the week, press and hold the Day button for 3 secs)

• PGM to select the program – in this case P2

• Hour and Min buttons to set the time

• Mode/Ret to exit this function

Select P2 Set time set

(As you require only 2 settings/day, erase pre-set programs P3** & P4** and go to step f to complete the programming) d) If you require 4 settings/day, set P3 ( ) as below:

• Press Pgm to access the programming mode

• Select Day – for the day to be programmed (if you require the same time on all days of the week, press and hold the Day button for 3 secs)

• PGM to select the program – in this case P3

• Hour and Min buttons to set the time

• Mode/Ret to exit this function

e) Set P4 ( ) as below:

• Press Pgm to access the programming mode

• Select Day – for the day to be programmed (if you require the same time on all days of the week, press and hold the Day button for 3 secs)

• PGM to select the program – in this case P4

• Hour and Min buttons to set the time

• Mode/Ret to exit this function

Pgm Day Pgm Hour Min Mode/Ret P4 is now

Select P4 Set time set

f) Finally to access the automatic mode

• Press the Mode button until it displays the automatic icon (If the manual icon is displayed, press the mode button again and you will see the or automatic icon. Your settings have now been programmed. The LCD display will now show:

The comfort or economy temperatures being used (to verify the

temperatures at this stage :

Press the button for the current comfort temperature

Press the button for the current economy temperature)

The current program no. ,, , or will also be shown.

Note : It is faster to program the same schedule for the entire week and then modify the exception days eg weekends – Sat & Sun

If your Sat & Sun schedules are different from the rest of the week then

• Press on Day button until SA or SU is displayed

• Press on PGM to select the respective program i.e. P1, P2, P3 or P4 ( where you require to change the time)

Eg if you wish to change the times for P1 and P2 and need to clear the times for P3 and P4

Select P1 and change the time using the Hour and Min buttons

Select P2 and change the time as above

Select P3 and press the clear button to erase it

Select P4 and press the clear button to erase it

• Mode/Ret to exit this function

Once you have completed the schedule for Saturday, you can repeat the schedule for Sunday.

Points to note

If you are going to be away for an extended period then select your vacation temperature by:

• Pressing on the and buttons at the same time

• Using the arrow keys select your preferred vacation temperature

• Then press and hold the and buttons simultaneously for approx 3 secs until the button until the vacation icon is displayed

Your vacation temperature is ____˚C

You can return to the normal operating mode by pressing the Mode button.

If you wish to return to the programmed settings, press on the Mode button twice.

** To erase your program press

• PGM (to select the program to be erased)

• Day (to select the day)

• Clear

The time field will display --:-- which means that the selected program is inactive.

While you are in Automatic mode, you can temporarily modify the room temperature by:

• Pressing the arrow keys to select the desired temperature

• Then press on the and buttons to select the Comfort or Economy settings which have been programmed.

This temperature will be maintained until the beginning of the next programmed schedule.
