Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den Kauf des Graupner Modells „Theodor Heuss“ Best.-Nr. 2013 entschieden haben. Graupner Modelle stehen für hohe Qualität. Wir achten auf Stabilität an den Schlüssel-stellen in der Serienproduktion. Durch den hohen Grad der Vormontage, mit Motor, Ruderanlage und einem hohen

Detailierungsgrad durch CNC-Bearbeitung des Modells reicht das Modell sehr nahe an das Original heran.

Vor der Montage und Inbetriebnahme des Modells sollten Sie unbedingt die Anleitung vollständig lesen.

Sowohl für Probeläufe als auch beim Ersteinsatz müssen Sie die Sicherheitsbestimmungen der Anleitung unbedingt beachten.

Kurzbeschreibung des Modells

Dieses Modell ist eines aus der Serie der GRAUPNER/SJ PREMIUM-Line, diese Serie von besonders hochwertigen Fertigmodellen, ist bisher in dieser Detaillierung auf dem Markt unerreicht.

Um diese hochwertige Ausführung zu erreichen, ist der Rumpf aus stabilem GFK, die Aufbauten und das

Deck aus gelaserten ABS-Teilen sowie viele Kleinteile aus Metall gefertigt und schon vormontiert. Der Rumpf,

Teile der Aufbauten, die Masten und die Beschlagteile sind mit seidenmatten Farben spritzlackiert und die

Dekors aufgebracht. Dank der vielen Details und Beschlagteilen wirkt das Modell besonders originalgetreu.

Der Einbau der RC-Komponenten ist durch die ausreichend großen Öffnungen im Deck einfach und schnell zu bewerkstelligen. Um das Modell fahrbereit zu machen, müssen nur die RC-Komponenten und der

Fahrakku eingebaut sowie geringe Lötarbeiten ausgeführt werden, schon ist das Modell fahrbereit.

Inhalt der Herstellererklärung

Sollten sich Mängel an Material oder Verarbeitung an einem von uns in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland v ertriebenen, durch einen Verbraucher (§ 13 BGB) erworbenen Gegenstand zeigen, übernehmen wir, die Fa. Graupner/SJ

GmbH , Kirchheim/Teck im nachstehenden Umfang die Mängelbeseitigung für den Gegenstand.

Rechte aus dieser Herstellererklärung kann der Verbraucher nicht geltend machen, wenn die Beeinträchtigung der

Brauchbarkeit des Gegenstandes auf natürlicher Abnutzung, Einsatz unter Wettbewerbsbedingungen, unsachgemäßer

Verwendung (einschließlich Einbau) oder Einwirkung von außen beruht.

Diese Herstellererklärung lässt die gesetzlichen oder vertraglich eingeräumten Mängelansprüche und -rechte des

Verbrauchers aus dem Kaufvertrag gegenüber seinem Verkäufer (Händler) unberührt.

Umfang der Garantieleistung

Im Garantiefall leisten wir nach unserer Wahl Reparatur oder Ersatz der mangelbehafteten Ware. Weitergehende Ansprüche, insbesondere Ansprüche auf Erstattung von Kosten im Zusammenhang mit dem Mangel (z.B. Ein-/Ausbaukosten) und der

Ersatz von Folgeschäden sind – soweit gesetzlich zugelassen – ausgeschlossen. Ansprüche aus gesetzlichen Regelungen, insbesondere nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz, werden hierdurch nicht berührt.

Voraussetzung der Garantieleistung

Der Käufer hat den Garantieanspruch schriftlich unter Beifügung des Originals des Kaufbelegs (z.B. Rechnung, Quittung,

Lieferschein) und dieser Garantiekarte geltend zu machen. Er hat zudem die defekte Ware auf seine Kosten an die folgende

Adresse einzusenden.

Der Käufer soll dabei den Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler oder die Symptome des Fehlers so konkret benennen, dass eine Überprüfung unserer Garantiepflicht möglich wird.

Der Transport des Gegenstandes vom Verbraucher zu uns als auch der Rücktransport erfolgen auf Gefahr des Verbrauchers.

Gültigkeitsdauer

Diese Erklärung ist nur für während der Anspruchsfrist bei uns geltend gemachten Ansprüche aus dieser Erklärung gültig.

Die Anspruchsfrist beträgt 24 Monate ab Kauf des Gerätes durch den Verbraucher bei einem Händler in der Bundesrepublik

Deutschland (Kaufdatum). Werden Mängel nach Ablauf der An-spruchsfrist angezeigt oder die zur Geltendmachung von

Mängeln nach dieser Erklärung geforderten Nachweise oder Dokumente erst nach Ablauf der Anspruchsfrist vorgelegt, so stehen dem Käufer keine Rechte oder Ansprüche aus dieser Erklärung zu.

Verjährung

Soweit wir einen innerhalb der Anspruchsfrist ordnungsgemäß geltend gemachten Anspruch aus dieser Erklärung nicht anerkennen, verjähren sämtliche Ansprüche aus dieser Erklärung in 6 Monaten vom Zeit-punkt der Geltendmachung an, jedoch nicht vor Ende der Anspruchsfrist.

Anwendbares Recht

Auf diese Erklärung und die sich daraus ergebenden Ansprüche, Rechte und Pflichten findet ausschließlich das materielle deutsche Recht ohne die Normen des Internationalen Privatrechts sowie unter Ausschluss des UN-Kaufrechts Anwendung.

Das Modell wurde als Schiffsmodell konzipiert, zum Betrieb auf Gewässern, welche den Bestimmungen in dieser Anleitung entsprechen und ist nur für diesen Zweck geeignet. Für jegliche unsachgemäße Handhabung, außerhalb dieser Bestimmungen wird keine Garantie oder Haftung übernommen.

Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise

Sie haben ein Modell erworben, aus dem – zusammen mit entsprechendem geeignetem Zubehör – ein funktionsfähiges RC-Modell fertiggestellt werden kann. Die Einhaltung der Montage- und Betriebsanleitung im Zusammenhang mit dem Modell sowie die Installation, der Betrieb, die Verwendung und Wartung der mit dem Modell zusammenhängenden Komponenten können von GRAUPNER nicht überwacht werden. Daher

übernimmt GRAUPNER keinerlei Haftung für Verluste, Schäden oder Kosten, die sich aus dem fehlerhaften

Betrieb, aus fehlerhaftem Verhalten bzw. in irgendeiner Weise mit dem Vorgenannten zusammenhängend ergeben. Soweit vom Gesetzgeber nicht zwingend vorgeschrieben, ist die Verpflichtung der Firma GRAUP-

NER zur Leistung von Schadensersatz, aus welchem Grund auch immer ausgeschlossen (inkl. Personenschäden, Tod, Beschädigung von Gebäuden sowie auch Schäden durch Umsatz- oder Ge-schäftsverlust, durch Geschäftsunterbrechung oder andere indirekte oder direkte Folgeschäden), die von dem Einsatz des

Modells herrühren.

Die Gesamthaftung ist unter allen Umständen und in jedem Fall beschränkt auf den Betrag, den Sie tatsächlich für dieses Modell gezahlt haben.

Achtung!

Niemals in den laufenden Propeller greifen und den Propeller in der Hand haltend betreiben, dies führt zu Handverletzungen. Der Propeller kann durch die Rotationskräfte leicht außer Kontrolle geraten.

Achtung!

Niemals Gegenstände/ Fremdkörper in den laufenden Propeller halten und dafür sorgen, dass keine

Gegenstände/ Fremdkörper in den laufenden Propeller gelangen können. Geschieht dies, kann durch die plötzlich auftretende Unwucht des Propellers das Modell stark beschädigt werden. In der Nähe von Personen können die herumfliegenden Teile zu schwersten Verletzungen führen.

Achtung!

Sich niemals vor/hinter dem Propeller aufhalten. Durch unsachgemäße Montage oder unvorhersehbare Umstände kann sich der Propeller von der Welle lösen. Bei ungewöhnlichen Geräuschen den

Propeller stoppen.

Achtung!

Der Propeller muss fest fixiert sein. Richten Sie den Propeller nicht auf Personen oder Tiere, testen

Sie den Propeller nicht in der Hand. Sich niemals vor dem Propeller aufhalten. Durch unvorhersehbare Umstände kann sich der Propeller von der Welle lösen. In der Nähe von Personen können die herumfliegenden Teile zu schwersten Verletzungen führen.

Achtung!

Die Kombination Motor + Propeller + Welle nicht während des Betriebs anfassen, da dies zu Verletzungen führen kann. Nach dem Betrieb Motor, Welle, Regler und Akku abkühlen lassen, erst dann anfassen!

Warnung!

Das Betreiben des Modells unter Einfluss von Medikamenten, Alkohol, Drogen, usw. ist verboten

Achtung!

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass auf dem Gewässer das Betreiben von Modellbooten erlaubt ist.

Achtung!

Bevor Sie ein Schiffsmodell in Betrieb nehmen, müssen Sie sich über die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen informieren, denn ein Schiffsmodell unterliegt den hierfür geltenden Gesetzen. Den Gesetzen ist in jedem Falle Folge zu leisten. Achten Sie hierbei auf die Gesetze der jeweiligen Länder. Prüfen

Sie vor dem ersten Einsatz des Modells, ob Ihre Privat-Haftpflichtversicherung den Betrieb von

Modellschiffen dieser Art mit einschließt. Schließen Sie gegebenenfalls eine spezielle RC-Modell-

Haftpflichtversicherung ab.

Jegliche Abweichung von der Anleitung wirken sich eventuell auf die Funktion und Betriebssicherheit des Modells aus und müssen unter allen Umständen vermieden werden.

Das Modell darf nur mit dem von uns empfohlenen Zubehör betrieben werden, da sonst die Funktionalität nicht gewährleistet werden kann.

Die Inbetriebnahme und der Betrieb des Modells erfolgt einzig und allein auf Gefahr des Betreibers. Nur ein vorsichtiger und überlegter Umgang beim Betrieb schützt vor Personen- und Sachschäden.

Das Modell niemals betreiben, wenn sich Menschen und Tiere im Wasser befinden! Da, bedingt durch die relativ hohe Geschwindigkeit des Modells, eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr für diese besteht.

Lassen Sie Ihr Modell nicht in Naturschutz-, Landschaftsschutz-, oder Gewässerschutzgebieten fahren.

Informieren Sie sich bei Ihrer Gemeinde über die für den Schiffsmodellbau freigegebenen Gewässer.

Fahren Sie niemals bei widrigen Witterungsbedingungen, wie z.B. Regen, Gewitter, stärkerem Wind sowie höherem Wellengang, Strömung des Gewässers usw.

Beachten Sie die Empfehlungen und Hinweise zu Ihrer Fernsteuerung und Zubehörteilen.

Kontrollieren Sie, bevor Sie das Modell fahren lassen, dieses auf eine sichere Funktion der Fernsteuerung sowie die Steckverbindungen auf sichere und feste Verbindung.

Achtung!

Trockenbatterien zur Stromversorgung dürfen niemals nachgeladen werden. Nur Akkus dürfen nachgeladen werden.

Achtung!

Die Reichweite der Fernsteuerung muss vor Fahrtbeginn überprüft worden sein. Laufen Sie hierzu mit eingeschaltetem Modell ca. 100 m vom Sender weg, ein Helfer bedient währenddessen den Sender.

Hierbei müssen alle Funktionen problemlos ausgeführt werden können.

Achtung!

Prüfen Sie, ob der von Ihnen genutzte Kanal frei ist. Fahren Sie niemals, wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind, ob der Kanal frei ist.

Achtung!

Beachten Sie, dass Funkgeräte oder Sendeanlagen die Funktion des Modells stark stören können.

Achten Sie möglichst darauf, dass keines dieser Geräte in der Nähe betrieben wird während Sie das

Modell betreiben.

Achtung!

Die empfohlene Betriebsspannung nicht übersteigen. Eine höhere Spannung kann zum Überhitzen der

Motoren bzw. des Fahrtreglers führen oder die elektrischen Leitungen können durchschmoren. Dadurch kann das Modell zerstört werden.

Achtung!

Achten Sie auf Leichtläufigkeit aller Antriebskomponenten. Dies gilt besonders während des Fahrbetriebs, da sich Blätter und andere Dinge im Antrieb verfangen können. In einem solchen Fall können die

Motoren bzw. der Fahrtregler durch Überlast zerstört werden.

Achtung!

Die Batterien und Akkus dürfen nicht kurzgeschlossen werden, sowie nicht direkt dem Wasser ausgesetzt werden.

Achtung!

Betreiben Sie niemals das Modell an einem stark bewegten Wasser (z.B. Fluss), da bei einem evtl.

Defekt das Modell abtreiben kann.

Achtung!

Bringen Sie bei einer evtl. Bergung des Modells sich nicht selbst sowie andere in Gefahr.

Hinweis!

Entnehmen Sie den Fahrakku und die Senderbatterien bzw. -akkus bei Nichtgebrauch des Modells.

Hinweis!

Setzen Sie das Modell nicht starker Luftfeuchtigkeit, Hitze, Kälte sowie Schmutz aus.

Hinweis!

Setzen Sie das Modell nie starker und längerer Sonneneinstrahlung bzw. Wärmestrahlung von heißen

Lampen aus. Durch die unterschiedliche Ausdehnung vom Rumpfmaterial und dem Holzdeck kann dieses dann einreißen.

Hinweis!

Sichern Sie das Modell und den Sender beim Transport gegen Beschädigung sowie Verrutschen.


Hinweis!

Achten Sie besonders auf die Wasserdichtheit des Modells. Ein Modellboot wird bei entsprechendem

Wassereinbruch sinken. Kontrollieren Sie das Modell vor jeder Fahrt, ob irgendeine Beschädigung vorliegt und ob Wasser durch die Antriebs- bzw. Ruderwellen eindringen kann.

Lassen Sie das Modell nach Gebrauch gut austrocknen.

Kontrollieren Sie unbedingt während der ersten Fahrt mehrmals, ob die Wellenanlagen wasserdicht sind. Wenn Wasser eindringt, demontieren Sie die Wellen und schmieren die Stevenrohre mit ausreichend Fett (Best.-Nr. 570) nach.

Hinweis!

Die im Modell verbauten Elektromotoren dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sie müssen demontiert werden und separat an der zuständigen Entsorgungsstelle abgegeben werden.

Hinweis!

Bei parallel angeschlossenen Fahrakkus dürfen diese nur während des Fahrbetriebs angeschlossen sein, da ohne Last sonst Wechselwirkungen zwischen den beiden Akkus auftreten und diese die Akkus beschädigen könnten. Stecken Sie daher die Akkus erst bei Beginn des Fahrbetriebs an und bei Beendigung wieder ab. Keinesfalls dürfen die Akkus mit angeschlossenem Parallelkabel gelagert werden.

Pflege!

Säubern Sie das Modell nach jedem Gebrauch. Entfernen Sie evtl. eingedrungenes Wasser. Sollte

Wasser in die RC-Komponenten gedrungen sein, legen Sie diese trocken und schicken Sie die RC-

Komponenten zur Kontrolle an die zuständige GRAUPNER Servicestelle ein.

Pflege!

Säubern Sie das Modell und den Sender nur mit geeigneten Reinigungsmitteln. Geeignet ist ein fusselfreies Tuch. Verwenden Sie niemals chemische Reiniger, Lösungsmittel, Reinigungsbenzin, Spiritus oder ähnliches.

Pflege!

Schmieren Sie die Antriebswellen nach Ende des Betriebs mit einem kleinen Tropfen Öl an den Lagern ab. Auch die äußeren Wellenlager bei den Propellern müssen geschmiert werden. Verwenden Sie zum

Schmieren der Antriebe nur Öl, welches das Wasser nicht gefährdet bzw. verschmutzt (z.B. Best.-Nr.

206). Nach Ende der Fahrsaison sollten die Wellen demontiert werden und mit wasserneutralem Fett

(z.B. Best.-Nr. 570) neu abgeschmiert werden.

Hinweise zum Umweltschutz

Das Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanleitung oder der Verpackung weist darauf hin, dass

dieses Produkt am Ende seiner Funktionsdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt

werden darf. Es muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektroni

schen Geräten abgegeben werden.

Die Werkstoffe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wiederverwertbar. Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen Verwertung oder anderen Formen der Verwertung von Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Umweltschutz.

Batterien und Akkus müssen aus dem Gerät entfernt werden und bei einer entsprechenden Sammelstelle getrennt entsorgt werden. Bitte erkundigen Sie sich bei der Gemeindeverwaltung, die zuständige Entsorgungsstelle.

Montage Schritt 1 (Modell auspacken)

Packen Sie das Modell vorsichtig aus. Lösen Sie mit der Schere vorsichtig die Haltebänder. Danach ziehen

Sie das Modell vorsichtig nach oben aus der Verpackung und lösen dann alle Schaumstoffteile.

Montage Schritt 2 (Schiffständer zusammenbauen)

Zuerst sollten Sie den Schiffständer montieren, dieser befindet sich an den Stirnseiten der Verpackung hinter dem Schaumstoff. Fügen Sie die

4 Hälften zusammen und leimen Sie diese.

Montage Schritt 3 (Kontrolle der Schrauben)

Kontrollieren Sie die Schrauben der Wellenkupplung, der Motorenhaltebügel und der Propeller auf einen festen Sitz, da diese sich durch den Transport evtl. gelockert haben könnten. Das können Sie überprüfen, indem

Sie am Propeller ziehen, sollte sich die Welle nach hinten rausziehen lassen, ist eine der Madenschrauben locker. Ziehen Sie diese dann wieder vorsichtig fest. WICHTIG: Sichern Sie die evtl. lockeren Madenschrauben mit Schraubensicherungslack, z.B. UHU Schraubensicher (Best.-Nr. 952), da diese sich durch Vibrationen während des Betriebs lösen könnten. Die Madenschrauben werden mit dem Längsschlitz-Schraubendreher gelöst, halten Sie die Welle mit einer flachen Spitzzange fest um nicht zu verrutschen.


Montage Schritt 4 (Installation der RC-Komponenten)

Die äußeren Motoren werden parallel verbunden und gegenläufig angeschlossen. Richten Sie sich nach dem Schaltplan. Achten Sie auf die Drehrichtung der Motoren, wenn der Akku angeschlossen ist, sollen die

Antriebe so drehen, dass das Modell vorwärts fahren würde.

tion der Akkus leicht verändern, um die optimale Trimmlage zu erreichen. Die Akkus werden typischerweise im Viererblock direkt vor den Motoren platziert.

Legen Sie bei Bedarf noch Ballastgewicht in den Rumpf. Hierzu eignen sich besonders Flachprofile aus

Stahl oder Blei. Trimmen Sie das Modell aus und fixieren Sie die Ballastgewichte mit Klebstoff. TIPP: Wenn

Sie die Ballastgewichte mit Klettband befestigen, können Sie diese bei Bedarf (z.B. leichteren Transport) entnehmen. TIPP: Um ohne Nachtrimmen wieder die richtige Position der Gewichte wiederzufinden, sollten

Sie die Position mit wasserfestem Farbstift markieren.

Montieren Sie den Empfänger unter dem Deck und die Fahrtregler rechts und links an der Bordwand mittels

Klettband.


Montage Schritt 4 (Installation der RC-Komponenten) Teil 2

Die Antenne wird mit Klebeband möglichst im Bereich der Süllränder des Aufbaus fixiert. Diese muss immer über der Wasserlinie liegen, da die Antenne sonst keinen bzw. schlechten Empfang hat.

Haken Sie den Verbindungsdraht zur Antenne vorsichtig aus. Haken Sie dann die vier Antennendrähte am Mast aus. Jetzt können Sie den Aufbau vorsichtig nach oben abnehmen. TIPP: Für alle folgenden

Haken Sie den Verbindungsdraht zur Antenne vorsichtig aus (Bild 2). Haken Sie dann die vier Antennendrähte am Mast aus (Bild 1). Jetzt können Sie den Aufbau vorsichtig nach oben abnehmen.

Löten Sie an den mittleren Motor einen G2-Stecker an. Löten Sie dann einen G2 Stecker an die beiden

HINWEIS: Die Polung des G2-Steckersystems ist so ausgelegt, dass die Noppe auf dem Plastikgehäuse immer der Pluspol (rot) ist. Wenn man sich konsequent an diese Vorgabe hält, sind Akku und

Fahrtregler untereinander austauschbar und das System ist verpolungssicher. Um den Stecker leichter anlöten zu können, empfiehlt es sich, einen der folgenden Tipps zu verwenden. TIPP 1: Bauen Sie die

Motoren aus. Lösen Sie hierzu zuerst die Madenschrauben in den Wellenkupplungen (nur motorseitig).

Lösen Sie dann die Motorschrauben des Haltebügels (nicht ganz herausschrauben!) und ziehen Sie dann die Motoren heraus. Der Zusammenbau erfolgt genau in umgedrehter Reihenfolge. TIPP 2: mit einer sogenannten dritten Hand können Sie die Stecker auch direkt im Modell anlöten.

Montage Schritt 5 (Pflege und Wartung)

Säubern Sie das Modell nach jedem Gebrauch. Entfernen Sie evtl. eingedrungenes Wasser. Sollte

Wasser in die RC-Komponenten gedrungen sein, legen Sie diese trocken und schicken Sie die RC-Komponenten zur Kontrolle an die zuständige GRAUPNER/SJ Servicestelle ein.

Säubern Sie das Modell und den Sender nur mit geeigneten Reinigungsmitteln. Geeignet ist ein fusselfreies Tuch. Verwenden Sie niemals chemische Reiniger, Lösungsmittel, Reinigungsbenzin, Spiritus oder

ähnliches.

Schmieren Sie die Antriebswelle nach Ende des Betriebs mit einem kleinen Tropfen Öl an den Lagern ab. Auch die äußeren Wellenlager bei den Propellern müssen geschmiert werden. Verwenden Sie zum

Schmieren des Antriebs nur Öl, welches das Wasser nicht gefährdet bzw. verschmutzt (z.B. Best.-Nr.

206). Nach Ende der Fahrsaison sollte die Welle demontiert werden und mit wasserneutralem Fett (z.B.

Best.-Nr. 570) neu abgeschmiert werden.

Montage Tochterboot

Öffnen Sie die mittlere Abdeckung des Modells. Sie ist nur mit doppelseitigem Klebeband fixiert. Zu Wartungszwecken lassen sich auch die beiden Einstiegsluken komplett abnehmen. Auch diese sind mit doppelseitigem Klebeband fixiert. Achten Sie bei späterem Fahrbetrieb darauf, dass das Klebeband noch ausreichend klebt. Tauschen Sie es sonst aus, geeignet ist z.B. doppelseitiges Klebeband zum Einkleben von

Fotos in Fotoalben.

Löten Sie an das Motorkabel einen BEC-Stecker. Achten Sie hier unbedingt auf die Motordrehrichtung. Beim

Einstecken des Akkus muss der Propeller so laufen, dass das Modell vorwärts fährt. Sichern Sie die beiden

Lötstellen mit Isolierband, sie dürfen keinesfalls elektrisch in Verbindung kommen können.

Montieren Sie dann mit Klettband den Fahrtregler und Empfänger im Modell. Verlegen Sie die Antenne, vergleichbar wie beim Kreuzer, im Rumpf. Der Akku wird unter die hintere Plicht gelegt und dort mit Klettband fixiert.

Foreword

Thank you for choosing to purchase the Graupner/SJ model „THEODOR HEUSS“, order no. 2013. Graupner/

SJ models stand for high quality. We pay great attention to stability at the key points in series production. Due to extensive prefabrication, including motor and rudder system, as well as the high degree of detail made possible by CNC processing, this model very closely replicates the original.

It is quite important that these instructions are read completely prior to assembly and first-time use of the model. The safety rules stated in these instructions must be followed during trial runs as well as initial use and thereafter.

Model summary description

This boat is a member of the GRAUPNER PREMIUM line, a series of particularly high-quality ready-made models with an unprecedented level of detailing.

The core of this high-quality model is the robust moulded GRP hull, complemented by the superstructure and deck which are constructed from laser-cut ABS parts. Many of the small items are of metal, and almost everything is factory-assembled. The hull, parts of the superstructure, the masts and fittings are sprayfinished using semi-matt paints, and the decals are already applied. The many details and scale fittings give the boat an impressive scale appearance.

The ample deck openings make it a simple matter to install the RC components, and the procedure is quickly completed. To prepare the boat for running all you have to do is install the RC components and the drive battery, carry out a little soldering, and the model is ready for the water.

NER/SJ cannot monitor adherence to the assembly and operating instructions for the model nor can

GRAUPNER/SJ supervise the installation, operation or maintenance of the model and its components.

There-fore GRAUPNER/SJ accepts no liability whatsoever for losses, damage or costs that arise from improper op-eration, improper behavior or which are associated with same in any manner. Unless mandated by prevail-ing law, the obligation of the GRAUPNER/SJ company to provide damage compensation arising from the use of the model, regardless of the grounds, is excluded (this exclusion includes personal injury, death, damage to buildings or structures as well as sales and business losses, consequential damage for business inter-ruption or other direct and indirect consequential damages).

This leads to hand injuries. Rotational forces can readily cause the propeller to get out of control.

If this does happen, the propeller‘s sudden imbalance can cause heavy damage to the model. Persons in the vicinity can be severely injured by parts hurled through the air.

Never dwell in front or back of a propeller. Improper assembly or unforeseen circumstances can cause the propeller to come off of its shaft. Stop the propeller if unusual noises are heard.

Attention!

Never attempt to recharge any primary cell batteries used as a power supply. Only rechargeable (i.e. secondary cell) batteries may be charged.

Attention!

The remote control unit‘s effective range must be checked prior to operation of the model. To check this, switch the model on then walk with it away from the transmitter as far as about 100 m while a helper operates various controls on the transmitter. At this distance it must be possible to operate all model functions without any problem.

Check if the radio channel to be used is free. Never operate the model if it is not sure that the radio channel is free.

Attention!

Pay attention to radio devices or transmitters which could substantially affect the model‘s functionality.

Try to ensure that such devices are not operated in the vicinity while the model is being operated.

Do not exceed the recommended power supply voltage. Higher voltage can lead to motor and/or speed regulator overheating or melt wiring conductors. This can destroy the model.

Pay attention to the smooth, free movement of all drive components. This is particularly applicable while the model is operating because leaves and other materials in the water can get caught up in drive components. If this should happen, the motors and/or speed regulator can be destroyed by overload conditions.

Batteries must never be short-circuited or come into direct contact with water.

Never operate the model on strongly moving water (e.g. a river) as the model may drift away if it becomes disabled.

Never endanger yourself or others in an attempt to recover the model.

Pay particular attention to the model‘s water-tightness. A model boat will sink if it takes on too much water. Prior to every use, check the model for any damage and also ensure the hull is watertight where drive shafts and rudder control shafts penetrate the hull.

Allow the model dry out good after it is used.

Be sure to check the water-tightness of shaft penetrations through the hull several times during the model‘s maiden voyage. If water is intruding, remove the shafts and lubricate the stern tube with sufficient grease (order no. 570).

The electric motors built into the model may not be thrown away along with household waste. They must be removed and turned in at an appropriate disposal facility.

If batteries are connected in parallel they may only be so connected when the model is operated as otherwise reciprocal effects could take place between the batteries and cause them damage. Therefore, connect batteries only just before running the model and disconnect them again afterward. Batteries must never be stored with connected parallel wiring.

Care!

Clean the model after every use. Remove any water which may have intruded. If water has gotten into

RC components, lay them out to dry then send them to the responsible GRAUPNER service center for inspection.

Clean the model and transmitter only with suitable cleaning materials. A lint-free cloth is suitable. Never use chemical cleaning agents, solvents, gasoline, spirits or similar.

After operating the mode, lubricate drive shafts with a small drop of oil on the bearings. The outer shaft bearings for the propellers must also be lubricated. To lubricate the drives, use only oil which does not contaminate or pollute water (e.g. order no. 206). At the end of the operating season, the shafts should be removed and lubricated anew with a water-neutral grease (e.g. order no. 570).

Environmental protection notices

The symbol on this product, its operating instructions or packaging gives notice that this product may not be discarded as common household waste at the end of its service life. It must be turned over to a recycling collection point for electric and electronic apparatus.

The materials can be recycled according to their markings. You make an important contribution to protection of the environment by utilizing facilities for reuse, material recycling or other means of exploiting obsolete equipment.

Batteries must be removed from the unit and disposed of separately at an appropriate collection point. Please inquire with local authorities about the responsible waste collection locations.

Installation Step 1 (Model unpack)

Unpack the model carefully. Loosen with scissors carefully remove the retaining straps. Then pull the model carefully from the packaging, and then remove all foam parts.

Installation Step 2 (boatstand assemble)

First, you should mount the ship stand, this is located at the ends of the package behind the foam. Add together the four halves and glue them.

Installation Step 3 (Check the screw)

Check the screws on the shaft coupling, the motor mounting bracket and the propeller on a firm seat, as these might have come loose during transport if necessary. You can check this by pulling on the propeller, the shaft should be pull out to the rear, is one of the set screws loose. Then pull it back gently laid. IMPOR-

TANT: Back up any loose set screws with thread lock, eg UHU security screws (Order No. 952), as they may become loose due to vibration during operation. The grub screws are loosened with the longitudinal slot screwdriver, hold the shaft with a flat nose pliers firmly to avoid slipping.


Installation Step 4 (installation of the RC components)

The outer motors are connected in parallel and attached in opposite directions. Please act according to the circuit diagram. Pay attention to the direction of rotation of the motors when the battery is connected, the drives should rotate so that the model would go forward.

Install the battery with velcro in the model. NOTE: Due to the velcro you can change the position of the batteries easy to achieve the optimum trim. The batteries are typically placed in front of the block of four engines.

Place a ballast in the hull if necessary. Are suitable for this particular flat sections of steel or lead. Trim the model and fix the ballast weights with adhesive. TIP: If you mount the ballast weights with Velcro, you can find it if required (eg ease of transport). TIP: To re-retrieve the correct position of the weights without the trims, you should mark the position with waterproof ink pen.

Mount the receiver under the cover and the speed controller left and right to the hull by means of Velcro.


Installation Step 4 (installation of the RC components) Part 2

The antenna is fixed with adhesive tape as possible in the coamings of construction. This must always be above the water line, because the antenna usually has no or poor reception.

Hook the connecting wire to the antenna carefully. Then hook from the four antenna wires on the mast.

Now you can remove the build up carefully. TIP: For all subsequent work, you should ask the model to the boatstand.

Cautiously disconnect the aerial link wire as shown, then disconnect the four aerial wires at the mast. The superstructure can now be carefully lifted up and off.

Solder a G2 plug to the wires attached to the centre motor, then solder a G2 plug to each of the two outer motors, referring to the wiring diagram on page 21 (+ is red (light in the drawing), - is black). Ensure that the motors spin in the correct direction: when the battery is connected, the propellers should rotate in such a way that the model would be propelled forward. NOTE: the raised lug on the plastic housing of all G2 connectors should always be the positive terminal (red wire). If you keep consistently to this principle, your batteries and speed controllers will be interchangeable, and the system will be protected against accidental reversed polarity. To make it easier to solder the plug, it is advisable to use one of the following methods, as this will reduce the likelihood of damaging the model with the soldering iron. METHOD 1: remove the motors from the model by first undoing the grubscrews in the shaft couplings (motor side only). Undo the motor screws in the retaining straps - don’t remove them completely - and withdraw the motors. The motors can later be re-installed simply by reversing the sequence of operations stated above. METHOD

2: use a “third hand” (a special positionable part-holding tool) to hold the plug, and use the soldering iron directly inside the hull.

Installation step 5 (maintenance)

Clean the model after each use. Remove any water seepage. If water has penetrated into the RC components, dry them out and send the RC components, a control to the appropriate Graupner / SJ service center.

Clean the model and the transmitter using suitable cleaning agents. Suitable is a lint-free cloth. Never use chemical cleaners, solvents, benzene, alcohol or the like.

Lubricate the drive shaft to the end of the operation with a small drop of oil on the bearings from. Also, the outer shaft bearings must be lubricated at the propellers. Use to lubricate the drive only oil that does not endanger or contaminated (eg Order No. 206) the water. After the end of the driving season, the shaft should be disassembled and re-lubricated with water neutral grease (Order No. 570).

Daughter boat

Open the central hatch (the one with the integral mushroom-shaped funnel) on the boat; it is only held in place by doublesided adhesive tape. For maintenance purposes the two entry hatches can also be removed completely; these are also secured with double-sided tape. When subsequently running the boat, please ensure that the tape still has adequate adhesion. If you are not sure, replace it using the type of double-sided tape intended for sticking photos in photograph albums.

Solder a BEC connector to the motor wires, taking particular care to ensure that the motor shaft spins in the correct direction.

When you connect the battery, the propeller must rotate in such a way that the boat would move forward. Wrap insulating tape round the soldered joints at the battery terminals; it is essential that they cannot make electrical contact with each other.

Fix the speed controller and the receiver inside the hull using Velcro tape. Deploy the receiver aerial inside the hull in a similar manner to the cruiser. The battery should be installed below the rear cockpit, and secured in that position with Velcro tape.

Charge the batteries and test the functions of the model. Secure all coverage so that they can not fall, so that no water can penetrate into the model. Now you can maiden voyage.

Graupner sont gage de qualité. Nous veillons constamment à une qualité constante et irrépro-chable, notamment au niveau des étapes-clés de la fabrication. Grâce au haut degré de finition et de mon-tage, avec moteur, gouvernail et nombreux autres détails réalisés en CNC, ce modèle est une véritable maquette, très proche de l‘original.

Avant le montage et la mise à l‘eau du modèle, nous vous conseillons de lire attentivement la notice, dans son intégralité. Que ce soit pour des essais, ou par la suite sur l‘eau, il faut impérativement respecter les consignes de sécurité de cette notice.

Description du modèle

Ce modèle fait partie de la PREMIUM-Line GRAUPNER, cette série de modèles finis d’une très haute qualité dont le super détaillage n’a jamais été atteint jusqu’alors.

Pour obtenir cette exécution de haute qualité, la coque est fabriquée en solide fibre de verre, les superstructures et les ponts sont constituées de pièces en ABS découpées au Laser, et les nombreuses petites pièces sont fabriquées en métal et déjà montées. La coque, les superstructures et les pièces d’accastillage sont ^peints au pistolet avec des peintures satinée et la décoration est posée. Grâce à ces nombreux détails et aux pièces d’accastillage, le modèle à une allure particulièrement réaliste.

Le montage de l’équipement R/C est facile et rapide à effectuer grâce aux grandes ouvertures dans le pont.

Pour mettre le modèle en ordre de navigation, il suffit d’installer les éléments R/C et les accus de propulsion ainsi qu’à effectuer quelques petits travaux de soudure.

Le respect de la notice de montage et d’utilisation du modèle, ainsi que de l’entretien de ce dernier et de ses différents composants ne peuvent pas être surveillés et contrôlés par GRAUPNER. C’est pourquoi, GRAUPNER décline toute responsabilité en cas de pertes, dégâts ou dédommagements provoqués par une utilisation non conforme ou irresponsable du pro-duit. Dans la mesure ou le texte législatif ne le précise pas explicitement, la responsabilité de la société GRAUPNER ne peut être engagée en aucun cas, quelque en soit les raisons et les conséquences (y com-pris les blessures physiques, mort, dégâts sur immeubles, pertes de chiffres d’affaires ou autres consé-quences directes ou indirectes) liés à l’utilisation du modèle.

En cours de fonctionnement, ne jamais toucher l‘ensemble Moteur+Hélice+Arbre, cela pourrait provoquer des blessures. Après utilisation et avant de les toucher, laissez refroidir le moteur, l‘arbre de transmission, le variateur et l‘accu!

Avant de mettre le modèle à l’eau, vérifiez le bon fonctionnement de toutes les commandes et veillez à ce que les connexions au niveau des fiches et des prises soient fiables.

Avant chaque séance de navigation, il faut faire un essai de portée de la radiocommande. Eloignezvous de l‘émetteur avec le modèle allumé d‘environ 100 m, un collègue bouge les différents éléments de commande de l‘émetteur. A cette distance, toutes les fonctions du modèle doivent réagir correctement.

Attention!

Vérifiez que votre fréquence est bien libre. Ne vous engagez pas si vous n’êtes pas vraiment sûr si votre fréquence est belle et bien libre.

Attention!

Sachez que des émetteurs ou d‘autres radiocommandes peuvent perturber les fonctions du modèle.

Veillez à ce que aucun de ces appareils ne soient à proximité lorsque vous utilisez votre modèle.

Attention!

Ne pas dépasser la plage de tension recommandée. Une tension plus importante pourrait conduire à un échauffement anormal du moteur et du variateur, voire même faire fondre les fils. Le modèle pourrait

être endommagé.

Attention!

Veillez à un fonctionnement correct de tous les éléments de la propulsion. Ceci est particulièrement vrai en cours de navigation, étant donné que des feuilles, brindilles ou autres particules peuvent se fixer dans les différents éléments de la propulsion. Dans un tel cas, le moteur, le variateur et le servo du gouvernail pourraient être endommagés, par une trop forte surcharge/contrainte.

Accus et piles ne doivent pas être mis en court circuit, et doivent être protégés de toute projection d‘eau.

Ne naviguez jamais avec le modèle lorsqu‘il y a une forte houle (par. ex. sur un fleuve), en cas de panne, le modèle risque d‘être emporté par le courant.

Dans le cas d’une éventuelle opération de récupération du modèle, ne vous mettez pas vous- même, voire d’autres personnes, en danger, inutilement.

Si vous n‘utilisez pas le modèle, retirez les piles ou accus de l‘émetteur et du modèle.

N’exposez jamais votre modèle aux fortes humidités, à la chaleur, au froid et aux poussières.

N‘exposez jamais votre modèle trop longtemps au soleil ou sous une lampe. La différence de dilatation du matériau de la coque et du pont en bois pourrait engendrer des fissures.

Fixez, maintenez le modèle en place, ainsi que les les accus et les composants RC durant le transport, pour éviter tous dommages.

Vérifiez tout particulièrement l’étanchéité de votre modèle. Un bateau peut sombrer très rapidement s’il n’est pas étanche. Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez s‘il n‘y a pas de détériorations, et l’étanchéité au niveau de l’arbre et du gouvernail.

Après utilisation, bien laisser sécher le modèle.

Durant les premiers essais, vérifiez l‘étanchéité au niveau de l‘arbre. Si de l‘eau s‘infiltre, démontez l‘arbre et graissez à nouveau le tube d‘étambot avec suffisamment de graisse (Réf. 570).

Remarque!

Les moteurs électriques montés dans le modèle doivent être recyclés en fin de vie, vous ne pouvez pas le jeter aux ordures ménagères, ils devront être démonté et remis à une collecte ou un centre de tri.

Remarque!

Les accus de propulsion branchés en parallèle ne doivent être reliés être eux que pendant la navigation, car s‘ils ne sont pas sollicités des effets négatifs entre les deux accus pourraient se produire et conduire à leur détérioration. C‘est pourquoi, ne branchez-les qu‘en début de navigation, et débranchez-les aussitôt en fin de séance. En aucun cas, les accus ne peuvent être stockés, reliés entre eux avec le cordon de branchement en parallèle.

Entretien!

Après chaque utilisation, nettoyez le modèle. Retirez toute l‘eau qui se serait éventuellement infiltrée. Si de l‘eau s‘est infiltrée dans les composants RC, séchez-les et envoyez-les, pour contrôle, à un serviceaprès-vente GRAUPNER.

Après chaque utilisation, graissez l‘arbre de transmission avec une goutte d‘huile au niveau des roulements. Les roulements extérieurs de l‘hélice doivent également être graissés. Pour le graissage de la propulsion n‘utilisez que des huiles non polluantes (par ex. Réf. 206). En fin de saison, démontez l‘arbre de transmission et graissez-le avec une graisse neutre (Réf. 570)..

Protection de l‘environnement

Le symbole, qui figure sur le produit, dans la notice ou sur l’emballage indique que cet article ne peut pas être jeté aux or-dures ménagères en fin de vie. Il doit être remis à une collecte pour le recyclage des appareils électriques et électroniques.

Selon leur marquage, les matériaux sont recyclables. Avec ce recyclage, sous quelque forme que ce soit, vous participez de manière significative, à la protection de l’environnement.

Les piles et accus doivent être retirés des appareils, et remis à un centre de tri approprié. Renseignez-vous auprès de votre commune pour connaître les centres de collecte et de tri compétents.

Installation Etape 1 (Modèle déballage)

Décompressez le modèle avec soin. Desserrez avec des ciseaux retirer soigneusement les sangles de retenue. Ensuite, tirez le modèle soigneusement de son emballage, puis retirez toutes les pièces de mousse.

Installation Etape 2 (support du bateau assembler)

Tout d‘abord, vous devez expédier le montage du stand, il est situé à l‘extrémité de l‘emballage derrière la mousse. Additionner les quatre moitiés et les coller.

Installation Etape 3 (Consultez la vis)

Vérifier que les vis de l‘accouplement de l‘arbre, le support de fixation du moteur et de l‘hélice sur un siège de l‘entreprise, car ils auraient pu se détacher pendant le transport si nécessaire. Vous pouvez le vérifier en tirant sur l‘hélice, l‘arbre doit être retirer à l‘arrière, est l‘une des vis de fixation lâches. Puis le tirer en arrière posé doucement. IMPORTANT: Sauvegardez toutes les vis de fixation lâches avec verrouillage, par exemple,

Vis de sécurité UHU (n ° 952), car ils peuvent se desserrer à cause des vibrations lors du fonctionnement.

Les vis sans tête se délient avec le tournevis à fente longitudinale, maintenez l‘arbre avec une pince plate fermement pour éviter de glisser.


Installation Etape 4 (installation des composants RC)

Les moteurs externes sont connectés en parallèle et connectés dans des directions opposées. S‘il vous plaît agir selon le schéma de circuit. Faites attention à la direction de rotation des moteurs lorsque la batterie est connectée, les lecteurs devraient faire tourner de sorte que le modèle devrait aller de l‘avant.

Installez la batterie avec velcro dans le modèle. NOTE: En raison de la fermeture velcro, vous pouvez changer la position des piles faciles à atteindre l‘équilibre optimal. Les batteries sont généralement placés à l‘avant du bloc de quatre moteurs.

Placez le poids si besoin est . Conviennent à cet sections plates particulier de l‘acier ou le plomb. Découpez le modèle et fixer les masses d‘alourdissement de colle. CONSEIL: Si vous montez les masses d‘alourdissement avec velcro, vous pouvez le trouver, si nécessaire (par exemple, la facilité de transport).

ASTUCE: Pour réactiver récupérer la position correcte des poids sans les garnitures, vous devez marquer la position avec le stylo d‘encre indélébile.

Monter le récepteur sous la couverture et le régulateur de vitesse gauche et droite de la coque au moyen de velcro.


Installation Etape 4 (installation des composants RC) Partie 2

L‘antenne est fixé avec du ruban adhésif que possible dans les hiloires de construction. Cela doit toujours

être au-dessus de la ligne d‘eau, parce que l‘antenne a généralement pas ou mauvaise réception.

Accrochez soigneusement le fil de connexion à l‘antenne. Puis crochet des quatre fils d‘antenne sur le mât. Maintenant, vous pouvez enlever l‘accumulation soigneusement. ASTUCE: Pour tous les travaux ultérieurs, vous devriez demander le modèle de son berceau.

Détacher soigneusement le fil de liaison pour l’antenne du crochet. Détacher ensuite les quatre fils d’antenne sur le mât (Voir les photos). La superstructure pourra maintenant être soulevée avec précaution.

Souder un connecteur G2 sur le moteur central. Soudez ensuite un conne cteur G2 sur les deux moteurs extérieurs. Se référer au schéma de câblage sur la page 33, (Le Plus (+) est le fil rouge clair, le Moins (-) est le fil noir). Veiller au sens de rotation des moteurs, lorsque l’accu est connecté, les hélices doivent tourner de façon à ce que le modèle navigue en marche avant. NOTE : La polarité du système de connecteurs G2 est disposée de façon à ce que l’ergot sur le corps en plastique soit toujours le pôle Plus (rouge). Lorsque cette disposition est respectée, les accus et le régulateur de vitesse sont interchangeables entre eux et le système est sécurisé contre les inversions de polarité. Pour pouvoir souder facilement le connecteur, il est conseillé d’utiliser l’une des astuces suivantes. ASTUCE 1 : Démontez les moteurs. Pour cela, dévissez les vis pointeau dans les accouplements (seulement du côté des moteurs). Desserrer ensuite les vis des brides de fixation des moteurs (Ne les desserrer pas complètement !) et retirez ensuite les moteurs. Le remontage se fera exactement dans l’ordre inverse.

ASTUCE 2 : Avec ce qui est appelé une troisième main, les connecteurs pourront être soudés direc-tement dans le modèle.

Nettoyez le modèle après chaque utilisation. Retirez toute infiltration d‘eau. Si l‘eau a pénétré dans les

éléments R, séchez-les et envoyez-les composants RC, un contrôle au centre de service Graupner / SJ approprié.

Nettoyez le modèle et l‘émetteur utilisant des agents de nettoyage appropriés. Adapté est un chiffon non pelucheux. N‘utilisez jamais de nettoyants chimiques, solvants, benzène, alcool ou autres.

Graisser l‘arbre d‘entraînement à la fin de l‘opération avec une petite goutte d‘huile sur les paliers de. En outre, les paliers d‘arbre extérieures doivent être lubrifiés à hélices. Utilisez pour lubrifier le lecteur que de l‘huile qui ne met pas en danger ou contaminés (p. ex n ° 206) de l‘eau. Après la fin de la saison de conduite, l‘arbre doit être démonté et ré-lubrifiée avec de l‘eau graisse neutre (par exemple, l‘arrêté n o 570).

Le Canot embarqué

Ouvrir le recouvrement central (celui avec la cheminée en forme de champignon) sur le modèle ; il est simplement fixé avec de la bande adhésive double face. Les deux écoutilles pourront aussi être entièrement retirées pour les travaux d’entretien ; celles-ci sont également fixées avec de la bande adhésive double face.

Veiller à ce que ces bandes soient encore suffisamment adhésives pour la navigation ultérieure ; autrement il conviendra de les remplacer.

Souder un connecteur BEC sur les fils d’alimentation du moteur ; veillez absolument ici à son sens de rotation. Avec la connexion de l’accu, l’hélice doit tourner de façon à ce que le modèle navigue en marche avant ; bien isoler les deux points de soudure, ils ne doivent en aucun cas entrer en contact électrique.

Fixer ensuite le régulateur de vitesse et le récepteur dans le modèle avec de la bande à crampons. Disposer le fil d’antenne de réception comme il a été décrit pour le Croiseur. L’accu sera placé sous le Plicht inférieur et fixé avec de la bande à crampons.

Le premier voyage
