Die Nachrüstsätze NRS..... sind Aktivweichenmodule, die für den Einsatz in Enstufen der CPS- und Q-Serie entwickelt worden sind. Die Module beinhalten ein 24dB

Linkwitz-Riley Crossover und sind mit den Übergangsfrequenzen 330Hz, 500Hz, 800Hz und 1200Hz lieferbar.

Für den Betrieb der Module muß der INPUT ROUTING

Schalter an der Enstufe auf PARALLEL geschaltet werden. Die Pegel für LO-(A) und HI-(B) Kanal können getrennt voneinander an den bereits vorhandenen

Level-Reglern eingestellt werden.

Description

The NRS..... active frequency crossover modules have been designed to be used with CPS and Q-Series power amplifiers. The modules employ 24dB Linkwitz-Riley crossovers with available crossover frequencies of

330Hz, 500Hz, 800Hz, and 1200Hz.

Using the modules, you have to set the power amplifier’s

INPUT ROUTING switch to its PARALLEL position. The already existing level controls provide the possibility to separately adjust the levels for the LO-(A) and HI-(B) channels.

Einbau

Bevor Sie das Filtermodul in Ihre Endstufe einbauen, müssen Sie das

Gerät abschalten und es durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers vom Stromnetz trennen.

1. Öffnen Sie den Verstärker, indem Sie die entsprechenden

Schrauben lösen und den Deckel abnehmen.

2. Entfernen Sie die beiden Kabelbinder zur Befestigung der

Flachbandleitung an der linken Gehäuseaußenseite. (Von der

Frontblende aus gesehen)

3. Lösen Sie den Stecker der Signalleitung an der Endstufenplatine.

4. Befestigen Sie das Modul mit den im Lieferumfang enthaltenen

Schrauben an der vorgesehenen Stelle im Gerät. Achten Sie dabei auf die Richtige Einbaulage (siehe Abbildung SIDE).

5. Stellen Sie die Verbindung zwischen Endstufe und Nachrüstsatz

(Anschluß “TO AMPLIFIER” / CN2) mit der mitgelieferten

Flachbandleitung her.

6. Verbinden Sie die von der Eingangsplatine kommende Leitung mit dem Anschluß “FROM INPUT” / CN1 des Moduls.

7. Fixieren Sie die vom Eingang kommende Flachbandleitung mit dem mitgelieferten Kabelbinder.

8. Schließen Sie die Endstufe wieder.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Installation

Prior to installing the filter module in your power amplifier, please turn the amp’s power off and disconnect the appliance from the mains.

1. Open the power amplifier by loosening the corresponding screws and remove the cover plate.

2. Remove the two cable binders that tighten the flat wire cables at the left-hand side of the outside of the enclosure. (in front-view)

3. Loosen the plug of the signal wire that is attached to the main printed board assembly of the power amplifier.

4. Use the supplied screws to install the module at the pre-marked spot inside of the appliance. Make sure to mind correct positioning

(Fig. SIDE).

5. Use the supplied flat wire cable to connect power amplifier and extension kit (connector “TO AMPLIFIER” / CN2).

6. Connect the cable coming from the input printed board assembly to the “FROM INPUT” / CN1 connector of the module.

7. Use the supplied cable binders to fix the flat wire cables coming from the input.

8. Reconnect the power amplifier to the mains.
