Initial operation

The surface of the cooking plates is treated with a grease protection layer. When the cooking plate is heated up for the first time, this grease forms an optimal protective layer. Therefore heat up the cooking plates for about 5 minutes on the highest temperature level in a properly ventilated room. The resulting smoke development is normal.

Putting up the appliance (see fig. 4)

- Please observe the required distances to materials sensitive to heat and to easily inflammable materials.

Recommended types of cooking pots and pans (see fig. 5)

- Please use cooking pots and pans with even bottoms and choose a size which matches with the size of the cooking plate. This way you obtain the best cooking results with the lowest energy consumption and you avoid an overheating of the cooking plates.
