Sony UP-D71XR Thermal Film Operating Instructions

Below you will find brief information for Thermal Film UP-D71XR. This thermal film is made especially for Sony UP-D71XR series printers. Before making a printout, check what type of thermal film can be used with your printer. If another type of thermal film is used, the quality of the printout cannot be guaranteed. Use of another type of thermal film may also cause malfunction of the printer. When loading the thermal film, place the film sheets so that the squared-off corner of the film sheets meets the caution label attached to the paper tray. Do not leave film or printed film in direct sunlight or bright room light. Store in a dark area at low temperature (30 °C (80 °F) or lower) and low humidity. We recommend storing the printed film in a polypropylene pouch in a cabinet. Do not allow any volatile organic solvent such as alcohol to come in contact with the film. Adhesion to cellophane tape or PVC will cause fading of the printout. Be careful when storing film. Do not stack printed film on or under a freshly developed diazo copy sheet as this could cause the film to turn black.
