The appliance canbe usedbothin Ducting version
and Filtering version.
In the Ducting version (Fig. t), cooking vapours
and/orodouss are conveyed straight oulside (ceiling
and/orwall) by adispasal duct; using the holes that
are predisposed on the top andror al 1he back of
theapparalus.
In ithe Filtering version (Fig. 2) cookiag vapours
and/os odours aredepuratedby aspecialactivated
vegelalcharcoal fiber panel andrecirculated around
1he room by the fronl fissures. ATTENTION: For
the filtering version il is absolutely necessary fo
use the special active vegetalcharcoal{iber panet
whereas for the duciing versionit is nol.
INSTALLATION

Belore assembling the applianceil isnecessary lo
take off the antl-grease grille. To lake off the orilf
ilisnecessary to pushihis one towards the rear of
the apparatus, by means of the proper knohs, so
ihatit geis released, and ta pullit downwards: lo
take it off completely, make it ¿olale on one side
keeping the other one steady (Fig. 3).
Forhe ducting installation of the appliance, connect
one of the two discharge outlet to the external
ductingand seaithe other opening withthe supplied
cap {Fig. 4). For the filtering instaltation you rmusl
close both the discharge oullets of the apparatus
using the supplied caps.
The followingoperations are essential {or assembly:
— Install a proper wiring system.
— I your apparalus is ta be assembled as a
Ducting appliance, you must first make the air
venting hole and get a proper pipe io connect
the hole 1o the flange of the hood.
. Wall filting
Making use of the appropriate drilling jig, apply the
supplied blocks into the wall. Insert lwo of the
supplied screws so that the apparalus can be
hooked onto these ones by means of lhe holes
provided on the appliance (Fig, SA). Once the
apparatus is hooked, fix it definitively to the wall
using the two other screws and the holes made at
ils bollom (Fig. 58). To avoid damage make
exclusive vse of fheholes already preparedonihe
hood. Make the electrical canneclions.
Wall cupboard fitting
Using the appropriate drillingjig make the four fixing
holes into the bottom of the wall cupboard and cut
the alr venting hols ifthe hood Is a ducting version
one (for îhe fliiering version this hole is not
necessary). Holding the hood against he bottom |
ofthe cupboard fixit 10 it by means ofthe supplied
four screws (Fig. 6). Make 1he electrical
connections.
INPORTANT:
Check the position of screw A (Fig. В). Рог (пе

ASSEMBLY OF THE DECORATIVE PIPE
Fix the lower brackel A onto lhe apparatus (Fig.
9). Fix the upper bracket B onto the ceiling; in
arder lo position the bracket! an fhe same axis
as your apparatus, refer to the small triangle C
that is on the central axis. Take the two lelescapic
pipes minding that you have la lift slightly the
smaller pipe {the upper one); insert the pipes
from the front, expanding slightly with your hands
so thal they can get hooked aaio the hwo
brackets. Fix the pipes to the brackets by means
of the screws D and E.
OPERATION
A = light svritch (Fig. 7).

D = third speed switch.

Filtering/ducting conversion:
The conversion can be done in the inside at the
appliance, Access is possible by opening the grille

GERÄTEAUSFÜHRUNG
Das Gerät kann sowohl Im Umlufibetrleb, als auch
im Abluftbelrieb eingesetzt werden.
im Abiutibetrieb wird der Kachdunst durch
Ablufirohre Ins Fraie geleitel (Abb, 1). Kohlefiiter
sind in Ablulibelrleb nicht erforderlich.
Im Umluftbetrieh (Abb. 2) wird die Luft zusatzlich
durch die Aktivxonlefiltermatte geleltet und In den
Raum zurückgeführt,
MONTAGE DES GERÄTS
Zur Monlage dea Geräs sind die Metallfiller
herauszunehmen. Diese werden hierzu am
entsprechenden Griff leicht nach hinten gedrückt
und nach vorna abgesenkt, Dann wird der F ettiliter
links oder rechtsfestgehallenund der Filergedrehi,
bis er sich aus der Hellerung lást (Abb.3). ——
Vor der Montage des Gerätes Ist ein elektrischer
Anschluß vorzusehen. Im Fall einer Abluftversion
lstzudemelnegealgnete Ablufiführung vorausahen,
Wenn das Gerät in der Abluftverslon betrlaben
werden soll, (Stan einen der beiden Ablufistutzen
ein geeigneter Ablufischlauch anzuschließen und
der andere Abiufstutzan mit dem mitgelisfarten
Deckel (Abb.4) zu schließen. Im Falle einer
Urniuftversion sind belde Abiuftstutzen mit einem
Deckel zu schließen.
Wandmontage des Gorâts: Zwel der
mitgelieterten Schrauben unter Verwendung der
Bohrschablone, mit, für die |eweillgs

befestigen. Nun kann das Gerät mit den
Schlüssellochöffnungen In der Geräterückwand
In die Schrauben eingehängt werden (Abb.SA).
Zusätzlich wird das Gerät durch die
Sicherungsiücher fest mit der Wand verschraubt
(Abb.58B). Jelzt kann die elektrische Verbindung
mit der Stromversorgung hergestellt werden.
Mantage unter einen Hangaschrank: Mit Hille
der beltiegendan Bchrschablone werden die vier
erforderlichen Befestigungslócher an der
Unterseite das Hängeschrenkes gebohrt. Wenn

Verbindung m# der Stromversorgung hergestellt
werden,
Achtung: Vor inbelriebnahme des Geráts Ist
die Stellung der Umatellschraubo (Abb, 8A) zu
ÚUberprúten. Ole Umstelischrevbe regeit ein
Ventil, dasdieLuftentweder durchdisvorderen
Lûftungsschiitze (Umiuttbetrieb) oder durch
den Luitstutzen (Abluftbetrieb) leitet. Für den
Abluftbetrieb muß die Schraube fest
angezogen seln. Für den Umtuftbelriod mud
dia Schraube vollständig gelöst sein,
MONTIEREN DES ZIERKAMINS
Den unteren Haltebúgel A an dem Gerát (Abb.9)
befestigen, Den oberen Halteblige! B an der
ZImmerdecke festmachen; um den Bügel so
anzubríngen, dass erdiesalbeAchksedas Gerátes
bekommt, beachte man Creleck C, das sich auf
der Zeniralachse befindel, ais Anhaltapunkl. Die
beiden Telaskoprahre nehmen und das kleinere,
obere Rohr etwas höherzlehen; Rohre von vorne
