Benutzung mit Brille

Beobachter, die eine Brille tragen, lassen die drehbaren

Augenmuscheln an beiden Okularen in der Ursprungs­ stellung (Lieferzustand), bzw. drehen die Augenmuscheln nach rechts, bis sie spürbar einrasten. So können Sie das gesamte Sehfeld ohne störende Beschneidung am Rand

überblicken.

Einstellungen

Ideal für Brillenträger

Um auch Brillenträgern ein optimales Sehfeld zu ermög­ lichen, sind MINOX Ferngläser mit Drehaugenmuscheln ausgestattet.

Benutzung ohne Brille

Beobachter, die keine Brille tragen, drehen an beiden

Okularen die Augenmuscheln nach links (gegen den Uhr­ zeigersinn) bis zum Einrasten heraus. In dieser Position ist der richtige Abstand des Fernglases zum Auge gegeben.

Der richtige Augenabstand

Bitte schauen Sie in die Okulare Ihres Fernglases und winkeln Sie die zusammenfaltbaren Rohre so lange an, bis sich aus beiden Sehfeldern ein gemeinsames kreis­ rundes Bild ergibt.

Scharfstellung

Um eine optimale Bildschärfe zu erreichen, ist es not­ wendig, die Optik des Fernglases auf die individuelle

Sehleistung Ihrer Augen abstimmen. Dazu gehen Sie

bitte wie folgt vor: a) Visieren Sie als erstes ein weit entferntes, fest stehen­ des Beobachtungsobjekt an. Bei geschlossenem rech­ ten Auge drehen Sie den zentralen Mitteltrieb so lan­ ge, bis das Beobachtungsobjekt für Ihr linkes Auge die optimale Scharfstellung erreicht.

b) Visieren Sie nun das selbe Beobachtungsobjekt an und drehen Sie bei geschlossenem linken Auge den Ein­ stellring am rechten Okular so lange, bis Sie für das rechte Auge die optimale Scharfstellung erreichen.

c) Ihr MINOX Fernglas ist nun individuell auf die Seh­ leistung Ihrer Augen abgestimmt.

d) Für die Beobachtung verschiedener Objekte in unter­ schiedlichen Entfernungen werden Sie immer auch die Scharfstellung regulieren müssen. Dafür benutzen

Sie jetzt bitte nur noch den zentralen Mitteltrieb.

Achtung: Mit einem Fernglas nicht in die Sonne blicken, es könnte zu Augenverletzungen führen.

Anbringung eines Statives

Um eine verwacklungsfreie Beobachtung zu gewährleis­ ten, empfiehlt es sich, gerade bei höheren Vergröße­ rungen, ein Stativ einzusetzen. Dafür verwenden Sie den im Zubehör optional erhältlichen MINOX­Stativadapter

(Best.­Nr. 69730).

Entfernen Sie auf der Unterseite des Fernglases die

Abdeckschraube (6) und bringen Sie dort den MINOX

Stativadapter an. Die Abdeckschraube (6) bewahren Sie bitte gut auf und bringen diese nach Entfernung des

Stativadapters wieder an.

Pflegetipps

Um Ihr MINOX Fernglas bei Nichtgebrauch vor Fremd­ einflüssen zu schützen, empfehlen wir, das Fernglas in der mitgelieferten Neopren­Tasche aufzubewahren, so dass dieses immer geschützt ist.

Reinigen des Fernglases

Bewahren Sie Ihr MINOX Fernglas sauber und trocken auf. Vermeiden Sie, es größerer Hitze auszusetzen.

Entfernen Sie Staub und Fremdkörper am Gehäuse mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch. Wenn Sie Ihr Fernglas an der See oder in der Umgebung von Salzwasser benetzt wird, empfehlen wir Ihnen, es nach Gebrauch mit

frischem Wasser abzuspülen. Meeressalz kann mit der

Zeit die Objektivlinsen und optische Qualität Ihres

Fernglases beschädigen.

Stärkere Verunreinigungen oder Fingerabdrücke auf den

Linsen lassen sich mit einem Optikputztuch und speziel­ lem Linsenreiniger entfernen.

Wir empfehlen zur Reinigung Ihres Fernglases die

Verwendung des MINOX Optik Reinigungskits (Best.­Nr.

69731). Weitere geeignete Optik­Reinigungsmittel er­ halten Sie ansonsten auch im Fachhandel.

Seriennummer

Die Seriennummer finden Sie am linken Okular. Für den

Verlustfall ist es wichtig, dass Sie sich diese Nummer

bitte notieren.

Reinigung der Objektiv- und Okularlinsen

Verunreinigungen wie Staub, Fremdkörper und Fett­ spuren von Fingerabdrücken beeinträchtigen die Abbil­ dungsqualität (Bildschärfe und Kontrast) Ihres MINOX

Fernglases. Leichte Verunreinigungen und Partikel auf den Optiken können mit Hilfe eines weichen Haarpinsels entfernt werden.

Adjustments

For use with glasses

Those who wear glasses must leave the rotating eyecups on both eyepieces in the original position (as delivered) or, if necessary, turn the eyecups clockwise until they

noticeably engage. In this setting you can enjoy the

entire field of view without disturbing interferences at the edges.

Ideal for people wearing glasses

To ensure that people wearing glasses also have an

optimal field of view MINOX binoculars are fitted with rotating eyecups.

The right distance between the eyes

(inter-pupillary distance)

Look into the eyepieces of your binoculars and adjust the angle of the hinged tubes until you have a singular circular image.

For use without wearing glasses

Those who do not wear glasses must turn the eyecups at both eyepieces in counterclockwise direction until they engage in the extended position. The binoculars are now set at the correct distance to the eyes.

Focusing

For a pin­sharp image, definition you must adjust the optics of the binoculars to your individual vision. To do this, please proceed as follows: a) First, look at an object far away. With the right eye closed, turn the focusing knob until the object in view has become perfectly sharp.

b) Next, look at the same object in the distance with the left eye closed and turn the dioptre adjustment ring on the right eyepiece until the object is perfectly sharp.

c) Your MINOX binoculars are now set to the individual vision of both eyes.

d) To observe objects at various distances, use the focus adjustment knob to obtain a clear and sharp image.

Attention: Do not use binoculars to look into the sun, this could lead to irreparable eye damage.

Attaching a tripod

For a shudder­free image, we recommend using a tripod, especially with binoculars with a higher magnification.

The MINOX tripod adapter (order no. 69730) is available as an optional accessory for this purpose.

Remove the screw cap (6) on the bottom of the binocu­ lars and attach the MINOX tripod adapter into the screw socket. Keep the screw cap (6) in a safe place and reat­ tach it after removing the tripod adapter.

Maintenance and care Serial number

To provide as much protection as possible for your

MINOX product, it is strongly recommended to use the carrying case when storing your binoculars.

On the left eyepiece you will find the serial number. It is important that you make a note of this number for the event of loss.

Carefully remove dirt and dust from the housing with a soft moist cloth. If your binoculars have been exposed to saltwater, thoroughly rinse them off with warm water and dry carefully as saltwater can be aggressive to the lenses, detrimentally affecting their optical quality.

Contamination of the lenses by foreign bodies like sand, dust, grease, waterdrops or fingerprints reduce the im­ age quality of your MINOX binoculars. Foreign bodies should be carefully removed using a very soft brush

before cleaning the lenses. To avoid damage to the lens surfaces, it is strongly advisable to use specially devel­ oped optical cleaning materials to remove fingerprints, grease etc. from the lenses. We recommend using the

MINOX optical cleaning set (order nr. 69731).

During the warranty period we shall compensate complaints based on faulty manufacture with repair, replacement of defective parts or by replacement with an identical flawless product at our own discre­ tion. Consequential claims, regardless of manner or legal argument in connection with this warranty, will not be accepted.

2. Claims under warranty are null and void if the defect has been caused by improper handling – which also can include the combined use of non MINOX accesso­ ries – if the MINOX product is serviced by unautho­

Utilisation des jumelles avec lunettes

L’observateur porteur de lunettes replace les oeillères des deux oculaires sur leur position d’origine (réglage au moment de la livraison). Pour ce faire, il tourne les

oeillères vers la droite, jusqu’à encliquetage. Il pourra ainsi observer tout le champ de vision, sans restrictions, jusqu’aux bords de l’image.

Réglages

Idéal pour les porteurs de lunettes

Afin que les porteurs de lunettes puissent aussi bénéficier d’un champ de vision optimal, les jumelles MINOX sont

équipées d’oeillères réglables.

Positionnement de l’écart interpupillaire

Pour ce réglage, regarder au travers des deux oculaires de sa jumelle puis, écarter ou rapprocher les deux tubes, jusqu’à ce que les deux champs de vision observés ne forment plus qu’une image circulaire, unique.

Utilisation des jumelles sans lunettes

L’observateur non­porteur de lunettes tourne les oeil­ lères des deux oculaires vers la gauche (sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre) jusqu’à leur enclenchement.

Cette position assure une distance adéquate entre la

jumelle et l’oeil.

Réglage de la netteté

Pour obtenir une vision optimale, il faut adapter l’op­ tique de la jumelle à la vue personnelle de l’observateur.

Pour ce faire, procéder comme suit: a) Visualiser tout d’abord un objet fixe dans le lointain.

Ensuite, après avoir fermé l’oeil droit, tourner le

bouton de commande central jusqu’à obtention d’une image nette de cet objet avec l’oeil gauche.

b) Visez ensuite le même objet puis, après avoir fermé l’oeil gauche, tournez l’anneau de réglage de l’ocu­ laire droit jusqu’à obtention d’une mise au point optimale avec votre oeil droit.

c) Après ces deux réglages, votre jumelle MINOX est

optimalement adaptée à la vision individuelle de vos deux yeux.

d) Pour l’observation d’autres objets situés à différentes distances, il suffit de mettre respectivement au point à l’aide du bouton central de commande.

Installation sur un trépied

Pour une observation exempte de tremblements, en parti culier lors de l’utilisation de forts grossissements, l’usage d’un trépied est conseillé. On peut installer ce dernier à l’aide de l’adaptateur de trépied MINOX proposé en

option (code N° 69730).

Attention: Ne jamais regarder en direction du soleil avec une jumelle ! Cela pourrait occasionner de

sérieux dommages aux yeux.

On l’installe après avoir enlevé la vis de protection (6) située sous la jumelle. Il faut revisser sur la jumelle après utilisation du trépied.

Conseils d’entretien

Afin de protéger votre jumelle lors de son transport / ran­ gement, nous vous conseillons de la conserver dans le sac en néoprène livré avec celle.

Quant aux souillures plus tenaces ou les traces de doigts sur les lentilles, on peut les éliminer avec un chiffon spécial et un produit pour le nettoyage des lentilles. Pour l’entre­ tien de votre jumelle, nous vous suggérons le kit de net­ toyage optique MINOX (Code N° 69731).

Nettoyage de la jumelle

Conservez votre jumelle propre et sèche. Évitez de la

soumettre à une trop grande chaleur. Éloignez de son boî­ tier la poussière et tout corps étranger avec un chiffon

légèrement humidifié. Si vous avez utilisé votre jumelle dans un environnement marin et salin, après usage, nous conseillons de procéder à un nettoyage à l’eau fraîche car, avec le temps, l’action du sel marin risque d’endommager votre jumelle, tout particulièrement, les lentilles de son système optique.

Numéro de série

A l‘oculaire gauche MINOX figure son numéro de fabri­ cation. Il est important de noter cette référence: elle peut se révéler utile en cas de perte.

Nettoyage des objectifs et des lentilles d’oculaires

Les souillures telles que poussières, corps étrangers et

empreintes de doigts sur l’optique risquent d’influer sur la netteté et le contraste de l’image observée avec votre

jumelle MINOX. Il est donc recommandé d’éloigner les souillures mineures et les particules de l’optique à l’aide d’un pinceau à poils doux.

Il sera remedie, au cours de la periode de garantie, aux reclamations qui se fondentsur des defauts de fabrica­ tion, gratuitement et, suivant notre propre apprecia­ tion, par le biais d‘une remise en etat, d‘un changement des pieces defectueuses ou d‘un echange contre un produit en parfait etat et de meme type. Les demandes qui depasseraient ce cadre, quelle que soit leur nature et quel que soit leur motif juridique en rapport avec la presente prestation de garantie, sont exclues.

2. Les droits a la garantie sont supprimes si le defaut en question est imputable a une manipulation incorrecte

– l‘utilisation d‘accessoires etrangers pouvant aussi en faire partie – si une intervention a ete effectuee par des personnes et des ateliers non autorises ou si le numero de fabrication a ete rendu meconnaissable.

3. Les droits a la garantie ne peuvent etre invoques que sur presentation d‘un justificatif d‘achat imprime emanant d‘un negociant autorise.
