INTRODUCTION The Legrand Surge Protected Power Strip Module (see Figure 1) provides power protection for sensitive electronic equipment. The Power Strip Module (P/N PW1106) conveniently mounts to any On-Q/Legrand style enclosure. Figure 1 2. DESCRIPTION The Legrand Surge Protected Power Strip Module features high quality surge suppression and noise filtering. When plugged into a standard power outlet, it will eliminate disruptive and damaging electrical disturbances. It is 2.9” high x 12.81” wide and has a 6 foot AC cord. It provides six 125 VAC outlets with a maximum transient current of 6500 Amps. It has a voltage protection rating (VPR) of 500V, a clamping response time less than 5 nanoseconds, EMI/RFI noise reduction of 40dB, a surge protection indicator LED and a 15 Amp resettable circuit breaker. 3. INSTALLATION A. Position the Surge Protected Power Strip Module in the enclosure, planning for wire management and location of additional modules. B. Align two stationary tabs on the module with slots on the back of the enclosure. C. Insert tabs by angling module away from the back of the enclosure and sliding forward (see Figure 2). D. Rotate the module and insert the built in locking tabs on the module into the corresponding holes on the back of the enclosure, pushing in until they snaps into place (see Figure 2). E. Pull lightly on the module to assure it is properly locked in place. F. Plug the AC cord into any 120VAC outlet in the enclosure. Figure 2 ©Copyright 2011 by Legrand All Rights Reserved. Page 1 of 1
