Handling & Installation

Guidelines

 Job Storage:

Material should be protected from rain and moisture before installation. Store in garage or under loosely applied waterproof tarps.



Cutting Material:

Apply a 100% acrylic primer to ends after field cuts.



Flash Horizontal Edges:

Use flashing or horizontal edges so water does not accumulate on edge.



Fasteners:

Use quality hot-dipped galvanized or stainless steel fasteners for ultimate-long term performance.



Top Coat:

Apply two coats of a quality brand exterior

100% acrylic topcoat within 60 days of installation.

IMPORTANT NOTE : If trim or siding gets wet before application of top coat, allow to dry out thoroughly before attempting to paint.
