Thank you for choosing the CMTECK® Microphone. For best results,
please take a few moments to read this manual and familiarize yourself with
proper operation and care of this microphone.
The microphone from CMTECK® is a compact microphone designed to provi-
de you with outstanding sound for communicating and recording.

| About the working status:
The LED indicator refers working status, when you firstly plug in the mic into
your device, the LED light will show green.
© Green Light: The mic has been connected to your device successfully.
© Flashing Green Light: The microphone is working and the Green Light
will flash constantly.
@ Red Light: When you click the Mute Button to unmute your microphone,
the LED light will show red.

1.Plug the microphone into your USB port of your computer using the provided
USB cable.
2.To select the CMTECK Microphone as the default audio input device.
Method 1:
Go to the Start Menu and select Control Panel. Double click the Sound icon.
Method 2:
Select the SPEAKER EB and click the right mouse button

3. Select the Recording tab, highlight the microphone icon labeled CMTECK and
click Set Default.

4. To make further adjustments to the recording settings, double-click on the
microphone icon labeled CMTECK.
From the drop-down menu you can change the volume for audio recording.
Please note that you should verify that these settings match the settings in
your recording application

Set both the on-board control of the mic and input/output level of computer
at 50%-75%. (When using Windows computer, if there's "Microphone Boost",
turn it to 0.)
High volume setting is always the culprit for poor sound quality.

Macintosh OSX (10.4.11 or higher)
1. Make certain that any audio applications are closed.
2. Plug the microphone into your USB port of your computer using the provid-
ed USB cable.
3. To set the USB microphone as the default audio input for audio, click on the
Apple icon in the upper left hand of the screen and select System Preferences
as shown the figure below.
4. Next, click on the Sound icon in the Hardware group as shown in the figure

5. After opening the Sound dialog screen, there will be three tabs at the top of
the window, select the Input tab by clicking on it.
6. Then select the CMECK USB as the device for sound input as shown.

7. By watching the movements of the Input level meter in this window, you can
now see that the CMTECK microphone is working as you speak into it. This
setting will be saved as the default input whenever the microphone is plugged
in.

Ш Q1: No Sound from Microphone
BM Al: Please check USB connection, gain knob setting, mix knob setting and
headphone level.
Ш Q2: Whythe sound won't playback from the computer?
EM A2: Please check you have set up your computer according to the ‘Getting
Started’ section in this manual. Make sure that ‘CMTECK Mcirphone’ setup to be
the default audio output. If your audio program was open before plugging in the
microphone, you may need to close and re-open the program.
Ш Q3: Bad/Distorted Sound from Microphone
Ш A3: Please check the gain is not too high, based on the volume of the sound
source you are recording.
Ш Q4: Recorded sound isn't the correct pitch when played back
Ш A4: Please check to make sure your sample rates and bit-depths agree within
your project settings and audio properties. This may require contacting the soft-
ware manufacturer.
BM Q5: |can'tget itto work on some APPs (such as for win10 camera app reco-
rding video) what do | need to do?
Ш A5: Please plug the microphone to your computer first and then run the app.
Also you should select this microphone as default input device in the Sound
Settings of your computer.
Ш Q6: The micis not recognzied by my pc and mac, any suggestions?
BM A6: 1.Restart computer and try other USB port.
2.Check if the “Microphoe CMETECK” appears in the sound settings of
computer, then the mic is able to work. If not, please email us. We will provide
other solution to help.

CMTECK microphones are guaranteed against defects in materials and
workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If you encounter any
problem with this unit, promptly contact the company from which you
purchased it for assistance. The original dated sales receipt will be necessary
for any warranty claim. Do not send any unit directly to us without prior
authorization from our service department.
Warranty coverage is limited to repair or replacement (at our option) of the
microphone and does not cover incidental damages due to use of this unit,
nor damage caused by accidental misuse of this product.

Dust and foreign material can reduce the performance of a microphone over
time, so you should store the Revelation Stereo in its case when not in use.
