Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Protect this device from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Never operate this device when its cover is removed.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

Batteries

WARNING
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.
Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries according to the correct polarity.
Replace the batteries as soon as the display turns dark.
Remove the batteries after use.

Hold the scale in your hand or hang it as upright as possible.

Switch on the scale. The scale is ready-to-use when the display shows 0.

Hang the item to be weighed or the tare item on the hook.

To tare an item, tap the tare button. Hang the item to be weighed on the hook.

The weight is displayed.

Unit Conversion
Tap the unit button until the desired weighing unit is displayed.

Error Indications
Overloaded. Remove excess weight.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen.

Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor schade (buitengewoon, incidenteel of onrechtstreeks) – van welke aard dan ook

Batterijen

WAARSCHUWING
U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen niet-herlaadbare batterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.
Open het batterijvak en plaats de batterijen. Respecteer de polariteit.
Vervang de batterijen zodra de display niet meer oplicht.
Verwijder de batterijen na gebruik.

Gebruik

Algemeen
1.
Houd de weegschaal in de hand of rechtop zodat de haak hangt.
2.
Schakel de weegschaal in. De weegschaal is gebruiksklaar wanneer "0" op de display verschijnt.
3.
Hang het te wegen of tarreren voorwerp aan de haak.
4.
Om een voorwerp te tarreren, druk op de TARE-knop. Hang het te wegen voorwerp aan de haak.
5.
Het gewicht verschijnt op de display.
6.2
De weegeenheden omschakelen
Druk op de UNIT-knop tot de gewenste weegeenheid verschijnt.
6.3
Foutmeldingen
De weegschaal is overbelast. Verwijder het voorwerp van de weegschaal.
7.
Reiniging en onderhoud
Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in een vloeistof.

Piles

AVERTISSEMENT
Ne jamais perforer les piles et ne pas les jeter au feu (danger d’explosion). Ne jamais recharger des piles non rechargeables. Se débarrasser des piles en respectant la réglementation locale relative à la protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de la portée des enfants.
Ouvrir le compartiment à piles et insérer les piles. Respecter la polarité.
Remplacer les piles dès que l’éclairage de l’écran s’éteint.
Retirer les piles après utilisation.

Général
1.
Tenir la balance dans la main ou tenir la balance droite de manière à ce que le crochet pende.
2.
Allumer la balance. La balance est prête à fonctionner lorsque l'afficheur indique zéro.

Suspendre l'objet à peser ou à tarer au crochet.
4.
Pour tarer un objet, appuyer sur le bouton TARE. Suspendre l’objet à peser au crochet.

Le poids s'affiche à l'écran.

Conversion des unités de poids
Appuyer le bouton UNIT jusqu'à ce que l'unité souhaitée s'affiche.

Messages d'erreur
La balance est surchargée. Enlever le poids excédent.

Nettoyage et entretien
Nettoyer occasionnellement l'appareil avec un chiffon humide. Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs, de solvants ni de détergents puissants.
Ne jamais immerger l’appareil dans un liquide.

Las pilas

Nunca perfore las pilas y no las eche al fuego (peligro de explosión). Nunca recargue pilas no recargables. Respete las leyes locales en relación con el medio ambiente al tirar las pilas. Mantenga las pilas lejos del alcance de niños.
Abra el compartimiento de pilas e introduzca las pilas. Respete la polaridad.
Reemplace las pilas en cuanto la pantalla se apague.
Quite las pilas después del uso.

Pulse el botón UNIT hasta que se visualice la unidad de medida deseada.

Mensajes de error
El aparato está sobrecargado. Quite el exceso.

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Limpie el aparato de vez en cuando con un paño húmedo. No utilice químicos abrasivos, detergentes fuertes ni disolventes de limpieza para limpiar el aparato.
No sumerja el aparato en un líquido.
