Einleitung

Damit Sie an Ihrem neuen Gerät möglichst lange Freude haben, bitten wir Sie, die Betriebsanweisung und die beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise vor Ingebrauchnahme sorgfältig durchzulesen. Ferner wird empfohlen, die

Gebrauchsanweisung für den Fall aufzubewahren, dass

Sie sich die Funktionen des Artikels später nochmals ins

Gedächtnis rufen möchten.

Im Rahmen ständiger Produktweiterentwicklung behalten wir uns vor zur Verbesserung technische

Änderungen umzusetzen. Abbildungen können daher abweichen.

Bei diesem Dokument handelt es sich um die

Originalbetriebsanweisung.

Sollten Teile des Lieferumfangs fehlen oder beschädigt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Der Laubsauger/-bläser mit Saug- und Blasfunktion darf ausschließlich für Laub oder Gartenabfälle wie Gras und kleine Zweige verwendet werden.

Es dürfen mit dieser Maschine keine anderen Arbeiten verrichtet werden, als die Arbeiten, für die die Maschine gebaut ist und die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben werden.

Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden oder Verletzungen haftet der Hersteller nicht. Bitte beachten Sie das dieses Gerät bestimmungsgemäß nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz konstruiert sind.

Nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Alle Anwendungen mit dem Gerät die nicht im Kapitel

„Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung“ genannt sind, gelten als eine nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung.

Der Laubsauger/-bläser darf nicht zu folgenden Zwecken eingesetzt werden:

Verwenden Sie nur Original Ersatzteile oder Bauteile die vom Hersteller zugelassen sind.

Anforderungen an den Bediener

Der Bediener muss vor Gebrauch des Gerätes aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.

Qualifikation

Außer einer ausführlichen Einweisung durch eine sachkundige Person ist keine spezielle Qualifikation für den Gebrauch des Gerätes notwendig.

Mindestalter

Das Gerät darf nur von Personen betrieben werden, die das 16. Lebensjahr vollendet haben. Eine Ausnahme stellt die Benutzung als Jugendlicher dar, wenn die Benutzung im Zuge einer Berufsausbildung zur Erreichung der

Fertigkeit unter Aufsicht eines Ausbilders erfolgt.

Schulung

Die Benutzung des Gerätes bedarf lediglich einer entsprechenden Unterweisung. Eine spezielle Schulung ist nicht notwendig.

Vor Inbetriebnahme

Montage

Montage Saug-/Blasrohr (Abb. B-E)

Stecken Sie das Vordere Saug-/Blasrohr (Abb. A/1) und das Hintere Saug-/Blasrohr (Abb. A/2) ineinander und fixieren diese mit den Schrauben (Abb. B-E).

(Das Rohr ist mit sieben Schrauben zu fixieren).

Montage Laubfangsack (Abb. F und G)

Stecken Sie den Stutzen des Laubfangsack (Abb. A/10) in das Rohrende an der Geräteunterseite. Drücken Sie dazu

die Arretierungshaken leicht zusammen und schieben Sie den Stutzen ein, bis er hörbar einrastet (Abb. F).

Hängen Sie nun den Laubfangsack (Abb. A/10) an der

Einhängelasche/Fixierung Laubfangsack (Abb. A/12) ein

(Abb. G).

Einhängen des Schultergurtes (Abb. H)

Führen Sie den Schultergurt durch die Einhänglasche

Schultergurt (Abb. A/4) nun kann der Schultergurt je nach

Bedarf in der Länge verstellt werden.

Achten Sie bitte auf festen Sitz der montierten

Teile.

Prüfen Sie das Gerät vor jeder Inbetriebnahme

auf:

Information zur Lärmverminderung

Eine gewisse Lärmbelastung durch dieses Gerät ist nicht vermeidbar. Verlegen Sie lärmintensive Arbeiten auf zugelassene und dafür bestimmte Zeiten. Halten Sie sich ggf. an Ruhezeiten und beschränken sie die Arbeitsdauer auf das Notwendigste. Zu ihrem persönlichen Schutz und

Schutz in der Nähe befindlicher Personen ist ein geeigneter Gehörschutz zu tragen.

Unterweisung

1. Lesen Sie die Anweisungen sorgfältig durch. Machen

Sie sich mit den Steuer- und Regeleinrichtungen und dem richtigen Gebrauch des Geräts vertraut.

2. Erlauben Sie Kindern niemals den Gebrauch des

Gerätes.

3. Erlauben Sie niemals Personen, die mit diesen

Anweisungen nicht vertraut sind, das Gerät zu benutzen. Örtlichen Bestimmungen können das Alter begrenzen, ab dem und bis zu dem die Benutzung dieses Geräts zulässig ist.

4. Das Gerät niemals benutzen, wenn sich Personen, besonders Kinder, oder Haustiere in der Nähe befinden.

5. Der Bediener oder Benutzer ist für Unfälle oder die

Gefährdung anderer Personen oder ihres Eigentums selbst verantwortlich.

Vorbereitung

1. Tragen Sie bei der Benutzung des Geräts immer festes Schuhwerk und lange Hosen.

2. Tragen Sie keine lose hängende Kleidung oder

Schmuck, die bzw. der in die Ansaugöffnung eingezogen werden könnte. Halten Sie langes Haar von den Ansaugöffnungen fern.

3. Tragen Sie beim Arbeiten mit dem Gerät eine

Schutzbrille.

4. Es wird empfohlen einen Gesichtsschutz zu tragen, um Irritationen wegen des Staubs zu verhindern.

5. Untersuchen Sie vor Gebrauch des Geräts die Stromund Verlängerungskabel auf Anzeichen von Schäden und Alterung. Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn das Kabel beschädigt oder verschlissen ist.

6. Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals in Betrieb, wenn die trennenden Schutzeinrichtungen oder Schutzschilde beschädigt sind oder die Sicherheitseinrichtungen, wie z. B. der Fangsack, nicht angebracht sind.

7. Verwenden Sie nur wetterfeste Verlängerungskabel mit einer IEC 60320-2-3 entsprechenden

Steckvorrichtung.

1. Führen Sie das Kabel vom Gerät nach hinten weg.

2. Falls ein Kabel beim Gebrauch beschädigt wird, ist die Netzanschlussleitung sofort vom Netz zu trennen.

BERÜHREN SIE DAS KABEL NICHT, SOLANGE ES

NOCH NICHT VOM NETZ GETRENNT IST.

3. Tragen Sie das Gerät nicht am Kabel.

4. Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung: immer dann, wenn das Gerät unbeaufsichtigt

• gelassen wird; vor dem Beseitigen einer Verstopfung; vor der Überprüfung, Reinigung oder sonstigen

Arbeiten am Gerät; wenn das Gerät beginnt, übermäßig stark zu vibrieren.

5. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur bei Tageslicht oder guten künstlichen Lichtverhältnissen.

6. Strecken Sie den Körper nicht zu weit und achten Sie darauf, nicht das Gleichgewicht zu verlieren.

7. Achten Sie an abschüssigen Stellen immer darauf, sicher zu stehen.

8. Gehen Sie, laufen oder rennen Sie niemals.

9. Alle Einlässe für die Kühlluft sind von Unrat frei zu halten.

10. Blasen Sie Unrat niemals in Richtungen, in denen sich Personen aufhalten.

11. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur zu vernünftigen Zeiten nicht früh am Morgen oder spät in der Nacht, wenn

Leute gestört werden könnten.

12. Verwenden Sie Rechen und Besen zum Lösen des

Unrats vor dem Blasen/Saugen.

13. Befeuchten Sie staubige Flächen leicht oder verwenden Sie einen Vernebler.

14. Verwenden Sie die vollständige

Blasdüsenverlängerung, damit der Luftstrom nahe am

Boden wirken kann.

Wartung und Aufbewahrung

1. Überprüfen, ob alle Muttern, Bolzen und Schrauben fest sitzen, um sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät sicher betrieben werden kann.

2. Untersuchen Sie den Fangsack häufig auf Verschleiß oder Qualitätsminderung.

3. Tauschen Sie verschlissene oder beschädigte Teile aus.

4. Verwenden Sie nur Original-Ersatzteile und Zubehör.

5. Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort auf.

Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch eine besondere Anschlussleitung ersetzt werden, die vom Hersteller oder seinem

Kundendienst erhältlich ist.

Informationen zur Vibrationsverminderung

Ein Gefühl des Kribbelns oder der Taubheit an den

Händen ist ein Hinweis auf übermäßige Vibration.

Begrenzen Sie die Einsatzzeit, legen Sie eine ausreichend lange Arbeitspausen ein, teilen Sie die Arbeit auf mehrere

Personen auf oder tragen Sie Antivibrations-Schutzhandschuhe bei langandauernder Verwendung des Gerätes.

Weitere Sicherheitshinweise für Laubsauger-/bläser

Empfehlungen: Das Gerät sollte nur an ein Netz angeschlossen werden, das durch einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter (RCD) mit einem Auslösestrom von höchstens

30 mA für netzbetriebene Maschinen abgesichert ist.

•

Es ist zu vermeiden, dass das Gerät bei schlechten

Wetterbedingungen betrieben wird, insbesondere bei

Blitzgefahr.

•

Die Maschine ist nur für den privaten Gebrauch vorgesehen. Sie darf nicht in öffentlichen

Grünanlagen, Parkanlagen, Sporteinrichtungen, auf

Grünstreifen und in Landwirtschaft und Forstwesen benutzt werden.

•

Die Maschine ist mit der möglichst niedrigsten

Motordrehzahl zur Ausführung der Arbeiten zu betreiben.

Das Kabel muss folgende Spezifiaktionen haben:

Ein mit Gummi isoliertes Kabel muss der Norm 60245

IEC53 entsprechen.

Ein mit Kunststoff isoliertes Kabel muss nach 60227 IEC53 gefertigt sein.

In Ländern, in der o.g. Isolierungen nicht geeignet sind soll die Isolierung mit

Poloychloropren nach 60245 IEC57 gefertigt sein.

Restrisiken

Auch bei sachgemäßer Verwendung des Werkzeuges bleibt immer ein gewisses Restrisiko, das nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann.

Aus der Art und Konstruktion des Werkzeuges können die folgenden potentiellen Gefährdungen abgeleitet werden:

Leiten Sie die der Verletzung entsprechend notwendigen

Erste Hilfe Maßnahmen ein und fordern Sie schnellst möglich qualifizierte ärztliche Hilfe an. Bewahren Sie den

Verletzten vor weiteren Schädigungen und stellen Sie diesen ruhig.

Für einen eventuell eintretenden Unfall sollte immer ein Verbandskasten nach DIN 13164 am Arbeitsplatz griffbereit vorhanden sein. Dem Verbandskasten entnommenes Material ist sofort wieder aufzufüllen.

Bedienung

Beachten Sie bitte die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen zur

Lärmschutzverordnung, die örtlich unterschiedlich sein können.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät erst dann in Betrieb, wenn

Sie die Montage vollständig durchgeführt haben. Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme ist die Geräteanschlussleitung auf Anzeichen von Beschädigungen zu untersuchen und darf nur in einwandfreiem Zustand betrieben werden.

Gurtlänge bestimmen

Gurtlänge des Schultergurtes (Abb. A/9) so einstellen, dass das Saugrohr knapp über dem Boden geführt werden kann. Zusätzlich dienen zur leichteren Führung des

Saugrohres die montierten Führungsrollen am Boden.

Gerät anschließen und einschalten

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker (Abb. A/7) in das Verlängerungskabel ein und hängen Sie das Verlängerungskabel in die Kabelzugentlastung (Abb. A/8) ein um dieses zu sichern. Zum Ein-/Ausschalten des Gerätes den Betriebsschalter (Abb. A/6) auf ON (I) schieben, zum Ausschalten den Betriebsschalter (Abb. A/6) auf OFF (0) schieben.

Betriebsart wählen

Saugen (Abb. M)

Drehen Sie den Einstellhebel (Abb. A/11) ganz nach oben auf die Funktion Saugen (Abb. M) diese Einstellung können Sie bei Ein-/ oder Ausgeschaltetem Gerät anwenden.

Das Gerät darf im Saugmodus nur mit angebautem

Fangsack in Betrieb genommen werden.

Blasen (Abb. N)

Drehen Sie den Einstellhebel (Abb. A/11) ganz nach unten auf die Funktion Blasen (Abb. N) diese Einstellung können

Sie bei Ein-/ oder Ausgeschaltetem Gerät anwenden.

Entleeren Sie vor dem Blasbetrieb den Fangsack.

Ansonsten könnte aufgesaugtes Sauggut wieder austreten.

Fangsack entleeren

Entleeren Sie den Fangsack (Abb. A/10) rechtzeitig. Bei hohem Füllgrad lässt die Saugleistung deutlich nach.

Führen Sie organische Abfälle der Kompostierung zu.

•

Gerät ausschalten und Netzstecker ziehen

•

Reißverschluß am Fangsack (Abb. A/10) öffnen und

Sauggut ausschütten.

•

Anschließend den Reißverschluss wieder voll ständig schließen und das Gerät wieder einstecken und einschalten.

Drehzahlregulierung (Abb. L)

Am Drehzahlregler (Abb. A/5) kann die Drehzahl mittels des Drehrades eingestellt werden. Stufen 1-6 entspricht

7000–15.000 min -1 .

Training

Lesen Sie die Betriebs- und Wartungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. Machen Sie sich gründlich mit den

Steuerungseinrichtungen und dem ordnungsgemäßen

Gebrauch des Gerätes vertraut. Sie müssen wissen, wie das Gerät arbeitet, und wie die Steuerungseinrichtungen schnell ausgeschaltet werden können.

Lassen Sie niemals Kinder mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

Lassen Sie niemals Erwachsene ohne ordnungsgemäße

Einweisung mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

Halten Sie den Arbeitsbereich frei von sämtlichen

Personen, insbesondere kleinen Kindern, und Haustieren.

Seien Sie vorsichtig, um zu vermeiden, dass Sie ausrutschen oder hinfallen.

Gewährleistung

Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf

Entsorgung

Entsorgung der Transportverpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden.

Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind in der Regel nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen

Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar.

Das Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.

Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor®) können für

Kinder gefährlich sein. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

Bewahren Sie Verpackungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf und entsorgen Sie sie so schnell wie möglich.

Wartung

Schalten Sie das Gerät vor Wartungs- und

Reinigungsarbeiten immer ab und warten Sie bis das Gerät vollends stillsteht. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

Wartungsarbeiten, die in diesem Handbuch nicht ausdrücklich beschrieben sind, müssen von Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden, da Gefahrensituationen entstehen können, auf die der Bediener nicht vorbereitet ist.

Austausch von Ersatzteilen dürfen ausschließlich von

Nach Beendigung der Arbeit, nehmen Sie den

Laubfangsack ab und stülpen diesen um. Reinigen

Sie den Laubfangsack gründlich, ansonsten können

Schimmel und unangenehme Gerüche entstehen.

Ein stark verschmutzter Laubfangsack kann mit

Wasser und Seife gereinigt werden.

Halten Sie Gerät und Lüftungsschlitze stets sauber und frei.

Verschmutzungen am Gerät können mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Reinigen Sie das

Saugrohr ebenfalls mit einem feuchten Tuch oder einer Bürste.

Bewahren Sie das Gerät immer an einem trockenen

Ort auf.

Utilisation en conformité avec la destination

L’aspirateur de feuilles avec la fonction d’aspiration et de soufflage peut être utilisé exclusivement pour les feuilles et les déchets de jardin tels que herbe et petites branches.

Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé pour d’autres travaux que ceux pour lesquels il a été conçu et qui sont décrits dans le mode d’emploi.

Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme contraire à la destination. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour des dommages consécutifs à une telle utilisation. Notez que nos appareils ne sont pas conçus pour l’utilisation industrielle.

Utilisation contraire à la destination

Toute utilisation de l’appareil non indiquée dans le chapitre

„Utilisation en conformité avec la destination“ est considérée comme contraire à la destination.

Il est interdit d’utiliser l’aspirateur de feuilles dans à des fins suivantes :

• utilisation dans des pièces fermées

• aspiration d’eau ou d’objets solides, durs

• utilisation en tant que ventilateur

• soin des animaux domestiques

Exigences à l’égard de l’opérateur

L’opérateur doit lire attentivement la notice avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

Mis à part l’instruction détaillée par un spécialiste, aucune autre qualification spécifique n’est requise.

Âge minimal

L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement par des personnes de plus de 16 ans, exception faite des adolescents manipulant l’appareil dans le cadre de l’enseignement professionnel sous la surveillance du formateur.

Formation

L’utilisation de l’appareil nécessite uniquement l’instruction par un spécialiste, éventuellement par la notice. Une formation spéciale n’est pas nécessaire.

Avant la mise en marche

Montage

Montage du tube d’aspiration/de soufflage (fig. B-E)

Assemblez le tube d’aspiration/de soufflage avant (fig. A/1) et le tube d’aspiration/de soufflage arrière (fig. A/2) et fixez-les à l’aide des vis (fig. B-E).

(Le tube doit être fixé à l’aide de sept vis).

Montage du sac de ramassage (fig. F et G)

Insérez le goulot du sac de ramassage (fig. A/10) dans l’extrémité du tube sur la partie inférieure de l’appareil.

Poussez légèrement les crochets de blocage les uns contre les autres et insérez le goulot jusqu’à ce qu’il s’engage de façon audible (fig. F).

À présent, accrochez le sac de ramassage (fig. A/10) dans le dispositif de suspension (fig. A/12) (fig. G).

Accrochage du harnais (fig. H)

Passez le harnais par le dispositif de suspension (fig. A/4),

à présent, vous pouvez régler sa longueur.

Veillez à ce que les pièces montées soient correctement serrées.

Avant la mise en marche, contrôlez l’appareil du point de vue :

• des câbles endommagés

• de serrage solide de tous les boulonnages

Informations relatives à la réduction du bruit

Il est impossible d’éviter une certaine charge acoustique de l’appareil. Procédez aux travaux bruyants à une heure adéquate et recommandée pour ce type de travail.

Respectez éventuellement les temps de repos et limitez votre travail à la durée nécessaire. Pour votre protection personnelle et celle des personnes à proximité, il est nécessaire de porter une protection auditive appropriée.

Consignes de sécurité générales pour les appareils de jardin

AVERTISSEMENT – Lisez toutes les consignes et instructions de sécurité. Le non respect des consignes et instructions de sécurité peut engendrer une

électrocution, un incendie et/ou de graves blessures.

Conservez toutes les consignes et instructions de sécurité pour une utilisation ultérieure.

Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités psychiques, sensorielles et physiques sont limitées ou dont

l’expérience et/ou les connaissances sont insuffisantes, à moins qu’elles travaillent sous la surveillance d’un technicien de sécurité qui leur fournit des informations sur l’utilisation de l’appareil. Veillez à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

Formation

1. Lisez attentivement les consignes. Familiarisez-vous avec le dispositif de commande et de régulation et l’utilisation correcte de l’appareil.

2. Interdisez aux enfants de se servir de l’appareil.

3. Interdisez aux personnes ignorant ces consignes d’utiliser l’appareil. Les dispositions locales peuvent limiter l’âge à partir duquel l’utilisation de l’appareil est autorisée.

4. N’utilisez jamais l’appareil en présence des personnes, en particulier des enfants ou des animaux domestiques.

5. Le manipulateur ou l’utilisateur est le seul responsable des accidents et mise en danger d’autres personnes ou de leurs biens.

Préparation

1. Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil, portez toujours des chaussures solides et un pantalon long.

2. Ne portez pas des vêtements larges ou bijoux pouvant être aspirés par l’orifice d’aspiration.

Éloignez vos cheveux des orifices d’aspiration.

3. Portez lors du travail avec l’appareil des lunettes de protection.

4. Afin d’éviter l’irritation par la poussière, nous recommandons de porter un protection du visage.

5. Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, contrôlez le câble électrique et la rallonge du point de vue d’endommagement ou de vieillissement. N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si le câble est endommagé ou usé.

6. Ne mettez jamais l’appareil en marche en cas d’endommagement des dispositifs de protection ou des écrans de protection ou en cas d’absence des dispositifs de sécurité, tels que sac de ramassage.

7. Utilisez uniquement des rallonges résistantes à l’eau avec fiche conforme à la norme IEC 60320-2-3.

Utilisation

1. Dirigez le câble de l’appareil vers l’arrière.

2. En cas d’endommagement du câble lors de l’utilisation, débranchez-le immédiatement du secteur. NE TOUCHEZ PAS LE CÂBLE TANT QU’IL

N’EST PAS DÉBRANCHÉ DU SECTEUR.

3. Ne portez pas l’appareil par le câble.

4. Débranchez l’appareil du secteur:

5. lorsque vous laissez l’appareil sans surveillance;

6. avant de procéder au débouchage;

7. avant tout contrôle, nettoyage et intervention sur l’appareil;

8. lorsque l’appareil se met à vibrer fortement.

9. Utilisez l’appareil uniquement à la lumière du jour ou avec un bon éclairage artificiel.

10. Ne vous penchez pas trop et veillez à ne pas perdre l’équilibre.

11. Lors du travail en pente, veillez à une bonne stabilité.

12. Marchez lors du travail, ne courez jamais et ne faites pas de course.

13. Maintenez propres toutes les entrées d’air de refroidissement.

14. Ne soufflez jamais les impuretés vers des personnes.

15. Utilisez l’appareil uniquement à des moments appropriés – jamais tôt le matin ou tard la nuit, vous pourriez déranger les gens.

16. Pour libérer les impuretés avant le soufflage/l’aspiration, utilisez un râteau et un balai.

17. Humidifiez légèrement les surfaces poussiéreuses ou utilisez un vaporisateur.

18. Utilisez le tube de rallongement de la buse de soufflage entier, de façon à ce que le courant d’air puisse agir au plus près du sol.

Entretien et stockage

1. Contrôlez si tous les écrous, boulons et vis sont serrés afin que le fonctionnement sûr de l’appareil soit assuré.

2. Contrôlez régulièrement le sac de ramassage du point de vue d’usure ou de baisse de qualité.

3. Remplacez les pièces usées ou endommagées.

4. Utilisez uniquement des pièces détachées et accessoires d’origine.

5. Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec.

En cas d’endommagement du câble électrique de cet appareil, il est nécessaire de le remplacer par un câble

électrique particulier que vous pouvez demander au fabricant ou à son service clients.

Informations relatives à la réduction des vibrations

L’impression de fourmis ou d’insensibilité des mains est le signe de vibrations excessives. Limitez la durée d’utilisation, faites des pauses régulières suffisamment longues, divisez le travail entre plusieurs personnes ou portez des gants de protection contre les vibrations en cas d’utilisation prolongée de l’appareil.

Consignes de sécurité supplémentaires pour l’aspirateur de feuilles

Recommandations : L’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement sur le secteur équipé d‘un interrupteur disjoncteur (RCD) avec courant de démarrage maximal de 30 mA pour appareils électriques.

•

Il est nécessaire de veiller à ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans de mauvaises conditions atmosphériques, en particulier en cas de risque de foudre.

•

L’appareil convient uniquement à des fins privées. Il est interdit de l’utiliser dans des vergers publics et parcs, établissements sportifs, zones vertes et dans l’agriculture et la foresterie.

•

L’appareil doit être utilisé avec des tours minimaux.

Effectuez les premiers gestes de secours et appelez rapidement les premiers secours.

Protégez le blessé d’autres blessures et calmez-le.

Pour des raisons de risque d’accident, le lieu de travail doit être équipé d’une armoire à pharmacie selon DIN 13164. Il est nécessaire de compléter immédiatement le matériel pris dans l’armoire à pharmacie. Si vous appelez les secours, fournissez les renseignements suivants :

Manipulation

Veuillez respecter les dispositions légales relatives au règlement sur la protection du bruit, pouvant différent d’un endroit à l’autre.

Mettez l’appareil en marche seulement après le montage complet de l‘appareil. Contrôlez le câble de raccordement avant chaque mise en marche, l’appareil peut être utilisé uniquement en parfait état.

Réglage de la longueur du harnais

Réglez la longueur du harnais (fig. A/9) de façon à ce que le tube d’aspiration se trouve juste au-dessus du sol. Les roues de guidage montées servent au guidage plus facile du tube d‘aspiration.

Branchement et mise en marche de l’appareil

Insérez la fiche (fig. A/7) dans la rallonge et accrochez-la au dispositif d’allègement du câble en traction (fig. A/8) de façon à ce qu’il soit bloqué. Pour mettre l’appareil en marche, placez l’interrupteur de service (fig. A/6) à la position ON (I), pour l’arrêter, placez l’interrupteur (fig. A/6)

à la position OFF (0).

Choix du mode de fonctionnement

Aspiration (fig. M)

Placez la manette de blocage (fig. A/11) dans la position la plus élevée sur la fonction Aspiration (fig. M). Ce réglage peut être utilisé lorsque l’appareil est en marche ou arrêté.

L’appareil peut être mis en marche en mode

Aspiration uniquement avec le sac de ramassage monté.

Soufflage (fig. N)

Abaissez complètement la manette de blocage (fig. A/11) sur la fonction Soufflage (fig. N) Ce réglage peut être utilisé lorsque l’appareil est en marche ou arrêté.

Avant d’utiliser l’appareil en mode Soufflage, videz le sac de ramassage, faute de quoi le matériel aspiré peut ressortir.

Vidage du sac de ramassage

Videz le sac de ramassage (fig. A/10) à temps. La puissance d’aspiration baisse considérablement lorsque le sac est trop rempli. Compostez les déchets organiques.

•

Arrêtez l’appareil et retirez la fiche.

•

Ouvrez la fermeture éclaire sur le sac de ramassage

(fig. A/10) et videz le matériel aspiré.

•

Refermez ensuite complètement la fermeture et rebranchez l’appareil au secteur et mettez en marche.

Réglage des tours (fig. L)

Les tours peuvent être réglés sur le régulateur des tours

(fig. A/5) à l’aide du bouton rotatif. Les degrés 1-6 correspondent à 7000–15.000 min -1 .

Entraînement

Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi et d’entretien.

Familiarisez vous bien avec les dispositifs de commande et l’utilisation correcte de l’appareil. Vous devez savoir comment l’appareil fonctionne et comment arrêter rapidement de dispositif de commande.

Ne laissez jamais les enfants travailler avec l’appareil. Ne laissez jamais les adultes travailler avec l’appareil sans formation préalable.

Empêchez l’accès à votre lieu de travail aux personnes, en particulier aux enfants ainsi qu‘aux animaux,

Soyez prudents pour éviter le risque de glissement ou de chute.

Entretien

Avant tout entretien et nettoyage, arrêtez l’appareil et attendez qu’il s’arrête complètement. Retirez la fiche.

Les travaux d’entretien non décrits explicitement dans ce mode d’emploi doivent être réalisés par un personnel qualifié, car ils peuvent engendrer des situations dangereuses auxquelles l’utilisateur n’est pas préparé. Le remplacement des pièces détachées doit être réalisé uniquement par un personnel qualifié.

En cas de bouchage, procédez comme suit :

Le tube d’aspiration/de soufflage doit être démonté uniquement en cas de nettoyage et doit être remonté à la fin de celui-ci !

Nettoyage

Il est interdit de nettoyer l’appareil à l’aide des nettoyeurs haute pression ni sous le jet d’eau.

•

N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs, caustiques.

•

À la fin du travail, retirez le sac de ramassage et retournez-le. Nettoyez bien le sac de ramassage, un nettoyage insuffisant peut entraîner la formation de

• moisissures et d’odeurs désagréables.

Un sac fortement encrassé peut être nettoyé à l’eau savonneuse.

•

Maintenez toujours l’appareil et les orifices de

• ventilation propres et libres.

Nettoyez les impuretés sur l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. Nettoyez également le tube d’aspiration à l’aide d’un chiffon humide ou une brosse.

Recherche des pannes

Le tableau représente les pannes possibles, leur cause probable et les possibilités de leur résolution. Si le problème persiste, faites appel à un spécialiste.

Avant l’entretien et le nettoyage, arrêtez l’appareil et retirez la fiche.

Use as designated

The leaf vacuum including the suction and blowing feature may only be used for leaves and garden waste such as grass and small branches.

The appliance cannot be used for works other than those for which it has been designed and that are specified in the

Operating Instructions.

Any other use will be considered a use in conflict with the designation. The manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential damage or injury. Please be sure to know that our appliances have not been designed for industrial purposes.

Any use of the appliance not specified in the "Use as designated" section is considered a use in conflict with the designation.

Operator requirements

The operator must carefully read the Operating

Instructions before using the appliance.

Qualification

No special qualification is necessary for using the appliance apart from detailed instruction by an expert.

Minimum age

The appliance can only be operated by persons over 16 years of age. An exception includes youngsters operating the appliance within their professional education to achieve necessary skills under trainer's supervision.

Training

Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions by a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No special training necessary.

Before putting the appliance into operation

Assembly

Fitting the suction/blowing tube (pic. B-E)

Slide the suction/blowing tube (pic. A/1) and the rear suction/blowing tube (pic. A/2) into each other and fix them using screws (pic. B-E).

(the tube must be fixed by seven screws).

Fitting the collection bag (pic. F and G)

Slide the collection bag neck (pic. A/10) into the tube end on the bottom of the appliance. Press slightly the arresting hooks to each other and insert the neck in a way it snaps in audibly (pic. F).

Now fit the collection bag (pic. A/10) in the hinge mechanism (pic. A/12) (pic. G).

Fitting the shoulder strap (pic. H)

Put the shoulder strap through the hinge mechanism (pic.

A/4). You can adjust its length as required.

Please make sure the assembled parts are fitted properly.

Before putting the appliance into operation, check it for the following:

•

Whether cables are not damaged

•

Whether all the screwing is tightened properly

Noise reduction information

Some noise pollution cannot be avoided with this appliance. Perform any noisy work at a time suitable and recommended for this type of work. Respect any period of quiet and limit your work to a necessary time. Appropriate ear protectors need to be used for your personal protection and protection of persons near you.

General safety instructions for garden appliances

Training

1. Read the instructions carefully. Learn the control and regulation equipment and appropriate use of the appliance.

3. Never let persons not familiarised with these instructions to use the appliance. Local provisions may limit the age from and to which the appliance may be used.

4. Never use the appliance when there are persons, especially children or pets, around.

5. The operator or user will bear his own responsibility for any accident or putting other persons or their property at risk.

Preparation

1. Solid shoes and long trousers to be worn whenever using the appliance.

2. Do not wear any loose clothing and jewels that could get drawn in the suction inlet. Long hair should be kept out of reach of suction inlets.

3. Wear protective glasses when working with the appliance.

4. Face protection is recommended to be used to prevent any irritation by dust.

5. Check the electric and extension cable for any damage and wear before using the appliance. Never use the appliance if the cable is damaged or worn.

6. Never put the appliance into operation if the dividing protection equipment or protection shields are damaged or if safety equipment, e.g. leaf collection bag, is not fitted.

7. Watertight extension cables with a plug that is in accordance with IEC 60320-2-3 to be used only.

Operation

1. Guide the cable from the appliance backwards.

2. If the cable gets damaged when used, disconnect it from mains immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE

CABLE BEFORE IT IS DISCONNECTED FROM

MAINS.

3. Do not carry the appliance by the cable.

4. Unplug the appliance:

5. whenever being left unattended;

6. before removing any obstruction;

7. before any inspection, cleaning and working on the appliance;

8. when the appliance starts vibrating too strong.

9. Appliance to be used in broad daylight or under good artificial lighting only.

10. Do not incline too far and make sure not to lose your balance.

11. Make always sure you have good stability when on slope.

12. Walk, never run and compete when working.

13. Keep all cooling air inputs clean.

14. Never blow any dirt in direction where there are persons.

15. Appliance to be used in an appropriate time only – not too early in the morning or late at night as other people could be disturbed.

16. Use a rake and broom to release any dirt before blowing/sucking.

17. Dusty surfaces to be moistened slightly or a sprayer to be used.

18. Use the entire extension tube of the blow nozzle to enable the air flow to work closer to the ground.

Maintenance and storing

1. Check whether all nuts, pins and bolts are tightened to provide safe appliance operation.

2. Check the collection bag more often for any wear or quality reduction.

3. Replace any worn or damaged parts.

4. Original spare parts and accessory equipment to be used only.

5. Keep the appliance in a dry place.

If the electric cable of the appliance is damaged, it must be replaced with a special electric cable that can be obtained from the manufacturer or its customer service centre.

Vibration reduction information

Pins and needles or insensitivity in hands are a sign of excessive vibrations. Limit the time of use, take long enough breaks, divide the work to more persons or wear anti-vibration protective gloves when using the appliance for a long time.

Other safety instructions for the leaf vacuum

Recommendations: The appliance may only be used in a network protected by a safety switch against stray current

(RCD) with a maximum starting current of 30 mA for electric appliances.

- It is necessary to prevent the appliance from being used under poor weather conditions, in particular, when there is a risk of lightning.

The appliance is only suitable for private purposes. It must not be used in public orchards, parks, sports facilities, green belts and in agriculture and forestry.

The appliance needs to be used with as low revolutions as possible.

Behaviour in case of emergency

Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as possible. Protect the injured person from other injuries and calm him/her down.

First aid kit must always be available in the place of your work in case of accident in accordance with DIN

13164. Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be supplemented right away.

Operation

Please follow the statutory provisions issued in respect of noise protection that may differ depending on the location.

Put the appliance into operation only after complete assembly is provided. Before putting the appliance into operation, check the appliance drop cable for any damage – the appliance may only be used when in a perfect condition.

Shoulder strap length adjustment

Adjust the shoulder strap (pic. A/9) length in a way the suction tube can be guided just above the ground.

Moreover, the fitted guide wheels are used to guide the suction tube on the ground easier.

Connecting and starting the appliance

Put the plug (pic. A7) to the extension cable and hang the extension cable in the cable strain relief equipment (pic.

A/8) so that the cable is secured.

To switch the appliance on, put the operating switch (pic.

A/6) to ON (I). To switch the appliance off, put the operating switch (pic. A/6) to OFF (0).

Selecting the operating mode

Suction (pic. M)

Put the adjustment lever (pic. A/11) fully up to the Suction function (pic. M). This setting can be used both when the appliance is on and off.

The appliance may only be put into the Suction mode when the collection bag is in place.

Blowing (pic. N)

Put the adjustment lever (pic. A/11) fully down to the

Blowing function (pic. N). This setting can be used both when the appliance is on and off.

Empty the collection bag before working in the

Blowing mode. Otherwise, the vacuumed material could get out.

Emptying the collection bag

Do not empty the collection bag (pic. A/10) too late. If filled too much, the suction output drops significantly. Compost any organic waste.

– Switch the appliance off and unplug it.

– Open the collection bag zip (pic. A/10) and empty the

vacuumed material.

– Then close the zip again, plug the appliance and switch

it on.

Speed control (pic. L)

Speed may be set on the speed controller (pic. A/5) using the knob. 1-6 levels correspond to 7,000–15,000 per min -1 .

Training

Please read carefully the Operating Instructions and the servicing instructions. Familiarise thoroughly with the controls and proper using of the appliance. You must know how the appliance works and how controls can quickly be switched off.

Never let children work with the appliance. Never let an adult person work with the appliance without proper training.

Do not let any persons, especially small children and pets, to the place of your work.

Be careful to prevent slipping or falling.

Warranty

The warranty exclusively applies to material or manufacturing defects. Original purchase voucher with the purchase date must be provided for lodging a claim in the warranty period. The warranty does not cover any unauthorised use such as appliance overload, violent use, damage by a foreign person or an undesirable item.

Failure to follow the Operating Instructions or assembly instructions and ordinary wear and tear are also excluded from the warranty.

Disposal

Transport package disposal

The package protects the appliance against damage during transport. Packing materials are usually chosen depending on their environmental friendliness and disposal method and can therefore be recycled.

Servicing

Switch the appliance off before any servicing and cleaning and wait until it fully stops.

Unplug the appliance.

Servicing works not explicitly specified in this manual must be performed by specialised staff as there might be dangerous situations the operator is unable to handle.

Spare parts may only be replaced by specialised staff.

Proceed as follows when the appliance is blocked:

The suction/blowing tube may only be disassembled for cleaning purposes. It must be properly refitted after finishing the cleaning!
