Building the lower wing tips:
1...Slide parts WT-B3 and WT-B4 into the slots in
WT-B2. The taller sides of B-3 & B-4 are on the top.
Now put the WT-B1 ribs into position. Make sure that all of the parts are seated and squared up and then securely glue the parts together.
Be sure to make a right and left hand assembly as shown.
The rear of the B-1 rib should be centered on the edge of B-2.
2...Glue one of the 3/32” x 3” x 3-1/4” balsa sheets to the top of B-3 as shown. The grain goes left to right.
3...Hold the sheet tight against the top of B-1 and glue the sheet to the rib. Now glue the sheet to the outer edge of B-2.

4...Trim the sheet flush with the inboard face of B-1.
Trim the sheet flush with the outer and front edge of
B-2.
5...Glue one of the 3/32” x 3” x 3-1/4” balsa sheets to the bottom of B-3 as shown. The grain goes left to right.
6...Hold the sheet tight against the bottom of B-1 and glue the sheet to the rib. Now glue the sheet to the outre edge of B-2.
7...Trim the sheet flush with the inboard face of B-1.
Trim the sheet flush with the outer and front edge of
B-2.

8...Glue the sheet to the top and bottom of the rear end of the wing tip. When the glue is dry, trim and sand the sheet flush.
9...Glue two T-5’s together. Now glue two more T-5’s together making two sets.
10...Glue a T-5 assembly to the front of the wing tip.
Center it up and down on B-2. Glue two T-6 pieces onto the tip assembly as shown. One on top and one on the bottom of the wing tip.
11...Repeat the above instructions to build the wing tips for the top wing. Be sure to make a left and right assembly.
12...Start sanding the wing tips to a rough shape.
Glue the wing tips to the outer wing ribs (B-6 on the bottom wing and T-16 on the top wing. Final sand the tips to match the shape of the wing.
NOTE: The balsa tips (B-12 and T-17) included in the kit are not used.
To add the tips to an existing model, trim the tips B-
12 and T-17 from the wings. Glue the new tips to the outer plywood ribs. Sand and cover the tips.
