Intended Use

The thermal pump can is designed for keeping the temperature of hot beverages.

Tips for the User

Clean the pump lid and the pump tube thoroughly before each use of the thermal pump can, observing indication in section “Cleaning”. After cleaning, rinse the thermal pump can with clean water several times.

• If you want to maintain the temperature of beverages for a long time, we recommend to pre-heat the thermal pump can.

• Pour hot water into the thermal pump can or leave it there for a whole with the pump lid closed. Pour out the water and re-fill with the required beverage to obtain optimum operation of the thermal pump can.

• Do not fill the thermal pump can with carbonated beverages, diary products nor food for infants, as there is a risk of germs and bacteria development.

• If coffee was stored in the thermal pump can beforehand, clean it thoroughly before you fill it with water or tea.

Operation

1. Open the pump lid by pressing the buttons on the pump head and lift the pump lid up.

2. Remove the pump tube from the can.

3. Fill the thermal pump can with hot beverage.

4. Reinsert the pump tube into the can and close the pump lid, making sure the button re-engages.

5. In order to dispense the beverage from the thermal pump can, pump lid safety button to the left should be in the 'OPEN' position.

6. Keep a cup or a mug below the pump lid tap and press the pump button, to operate the pump mechanism.

The beverage will be pumped through the tube inside the can to the container.

7. Press as long as the container is not filled up to the required amount.

8. Close the lid lock, by putting the pump lid safety button to the right, to the 'CLOSE' position.

Cleaning

CAUTION!

For cleaning, do not use any scouring agents containing solvents nor corrosive cleaning agents. They may damage the surface.

Never place the thermal pump can in a dishwasher.

Never place the thermal pump can in water.

Clean the thermal pump can regularly after each use.

The pump lid of the can may be completely detached to facilitate cleaning.

Perform the following steps:

1. Open the lid by pressing the buttons on the pump head and lift the pump lid up.

2. Press the fixing element in the middle of the lid fastener.

3. Pull the top of the pump lid up.

4. Remove the pump tube from the can.

5. Wash the pump lid and the pump tube in warm running water with a mild cleaning agent.

6. Rinse in clean water.

7. Wash the thermal pump can in warm water with a mild cleaning agent.

8. Rinse multiple times with clean water to remove remains of the cleaning agent.

9. Attach the lid on the thermal pump can.

10. Re-insert the pump tube back into the can.

11. Wipe the outside of the thermal pump can with a soft, moist cloth.

12. If the thermal pump can is not to be used for a longer time, clean it beforand, as described above, and leave it open to dry.

Removing Remains from the Thermal Pump Can

Hard water may leave calcium deposits inside the thermal pump can. Coffee usually colour the deposits and leave the brownish deposit.

1. In order to remove the deposits use a cleaning agent available on the market.

Follow the descaling agent manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.

2. After cleaning, rinse the thermal pump can thoroughly with clean water several times.

3. Leave the thermal pump can open to dry completely.
