WOOFER LEVEL

You can controt the woofer votume,

Press^ or v button on the WOOFER LEVELbutton to increaseor decrease the woofer votume, You can set it from SW -6 to SW +6,

DBMMER/ANYNET+

DBMMER: Pressthe DBMMER/ANYNET+button on the remote to control the brightness of the display,

ANYNET+ : Turns on the ANYNET+ function which tets the remote from },,ourAnynet+ Samsung TV control the SoundStand,

The ANYNET+ function toggles on and off each time the

DBMMER/ANYNET+button is pressed and held for more than 5 seconds,

Skip Forward tf there is more than one rite on the device you are playing, and you press the _-I button, the next rite is selected,

Btuetooth Power function on and off,

AUDIO SYNC tf the SoundStand is connected to a digitat TV and the video appears out of sync with the audio, press the Audio Sync buttons to syncthe audio with the video,

Pressthe AUDBOSYNC+/- buttons to set the audio delay from 0 to 300 ms, tn USBmode, TV mode, or BT mode, the Audio Sync function may not work,

Installing the Batteries in the Remote Control

tf you want to place your %/on top of the SoundStand, please make sure that your TV satisfies the two conditions below:

Maximum TV weight : 77.2 Ib (35 kg)

Maximum TV stand dimension : Smaller than 28.4 inches (720 ram) X !2.6 inches (320 ram)

Fits most TVs up to 60" and up to 77tbs (*TV screen size and stand type may va_,)

How to install the SoundStand

Correct installation i

Do not place the TV to one side on the SoundStand

Do not place the

SoundStandnear the edge of a TV shelf, table, or entertainment center°

Do not place a TV whose base is bigger than the

SoundStand's top surface on the SoundStand°

• Do not place the TV to one side on the SoundStand, The TV may tip over and may cause physicat injury,

• Make sure to place the SoundStand in the center of the shelf, table, etc,, when you instatt it, Do not place it near an edge,

• tf the TV is bigger than the SoundStand, consider a watFmounted TV installation or place the

SoundStand on a stable surface,

• Keep the SoundStand at least two inches (5 cm) away from the watt when you instatt it,

ONNECT_NG AN EXTERNAL DEVICE USING AN HDM_ CABLE

HDMt is the standard digitat interface for connecting to such devices as a TVs, projectors, DVD playem, Btu-ray players, set top boxes, and more,

HDMI prevents any degradation to the signal due to conversion to analog and maintains the video and audio quality of the original digital source

BN jack on the back of the product to the HDMt OUT jack on your digitat device,

• HDMt is an interface that enables the digitat transmission of video and audio data with just a single connector,

The unit turns off automatically in the following situations.

• DJNiHDMtiBTiTViUSBiARC Mode tf there is no audio signat for 25 minutes.

• AUX Mode tf the AUX cable is disconnected for 25 minutes.

If there is no KEY input for 8 hours when the

AUX cable is connected. To turn this function

ON or OFF,press and hold the _-II button for

5 seconds. AUTO POWERDOWN ON / OFF appears on the display.

ARC (HDMI OUT)

The ARC function allows digital audio to output via the HDMt OUT (ARC) po_.

tt can be enabled onty when the SoundStand is connected to a TV that supports the ARC function.

ANYNET+ must be turned on.

• This function is not available if the HDMt cable does not support ARC.

• The ARC function is activated in DJN mode if you have connected the unit to a TV that suppo_s

ARC.

• To turn off the ARC function, turn ANYNET+ off.

To connect the SoundStand to a Bluetooth device

Check if the Bluetooth device suppo4s the Btuetooth compliant stereo headset function_

Pressthe SOURCE button on the remote control or the ( F. ) button on the product's top panel to display the BT message,

2. Selectthe Bhsetooth menu on the Bluetooth device you want to connect, (Refer to the

Bhsetooth device's user manuat,)

3. Selectthe Stereo headset menu on the Bhsetooth device,

• You will see a list of scanned devices,

4. Select "ISamsung] SoundStand" from the tist,

• When the SoundStand is connected to the

Bhsetooth device, it wit1display [Sluetooth device name] --_STon the front display,

• The device name can onty be displayed in

English, An underline "_" wit1be displayed if the name is not in English,

• tf the Btuetooth device has faited to pair with the SoundStand, delete the previous

"[Samsung] SoundStand" found by the

Bhsetooth device and have it search for the

SoundStand again,

5. Playmusic on the connected device,

• You can tisten to the music playing on the connected Btuetooth device over the

SoundStand,

• tn BT mode, the PbyiPauseiNext/Prev functions are not avaitabte_ However, these functions are available in Btuetooth devices supporting AVRCR

Stuetooth device

Btuetooth device, enter <0000>,

• Only one BhJetooth device can be paired at a time,

• Btuetooth connection wit1be terminated when you turn the SoundStand off,

• The SoundStand may not pedorm

BhJetooth search or connection correctly under the following circumstances:

tf there is a strong electrical field around the SoundStand,

tf severat BhJetooth devicesare simultaneously paired with

SoundStand,

tf the Btuetooth device is turned off, not in place, or malfunctions,

Note that such devices as microwave ovens, wireless LAN adaptors, fluorescent lights, and gas stoves use the same frequency range asthe

Btuetooth device, which can cause electric intederence,

Connect only to a Btuetooth device that supports the A2DP (AV) function,

• You cannot connect the SoundStand to a

Bluetooth POWER on (Bluetooth

When the Btuetooth Power On function is on and the SoundStand is turned off, if a previously paired

Btuetooth device tries to pair with the SoundStand, the SoundStand turns on automatically,

• tf the SoundStand is connected to a TV through TV SoundConnect, and you turn the SoundStand off by turning off the TV, the Bluetooth Power function wit1not turn the SoundStand on,

To disconnect the Bluetooth device from the SoundStand

You can disconnect the Btuetooth device from the

SoundStand, Forinstructions, see the Btuetooth device's user manuat,

• The SoundStand wit1be disconnected_

• When the SoundStand is disconnected from the

Btuetooth device, the SoundStand win display

To disconnect the SoundStand from the Bluetooth device

Pressthe SOURCE button on the remote control or the ( R ) button on the product's top panel to switch from ST to another mode or turn off the

SoundStand,

• The connected Btuetooth device wit1wait a certain amount of time for a response from the

SoundStand before terminating the connection,

(Disconnection time may differ, depending on the Btuetooth device)

• tn Btuetooth connection mode, the

Btuetooth connection wit1be tost if the distance between the SoundStand and the Bluetooth device exceeds t 6,25 ft,

• The SoundStand automatically turns off after 25 minutes in the Ready state,

Btuetooth is a technology that enables Btuetoothcompliant devicesto interconnect easity with each other using a short wireless connection,

• A Btuetooth device may cause noise or malfunction, depending on usage, when:

A part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the

Btuetooth device or the SoundStand, tt is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a watt, corner, or office partition, tt is exposed to electrical interference from same frequency-band devices including medicat equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs,

Connecting a TV to the SoundStand

!. Turn on the TV and SoundStand,

• Set the "Add New Device" menu of the TV to

"On",

2. Pressthe ( F. ) button on the main unit's top panel or the SOURCEbutton on the remote controt to select the TV mode,

S. On the TV, a message asking whether to enable the

TV SoundConnect function, "[Samsung]

SoundStand" is displayed on the TV screen,

4. Select {Yes> to finish connecting the TV and

SoundStand by TV remote controt,

Using the Bluetooth POWER On

• Switching the SoundStand's mode from TV to another automatically terminates TV

SoundConnect,

• To connect the SoundStand to another TV, the existing connection must be terminated,

• Terminate the connection to the existing TV, then press the _ll button on the remote controt for 5 seconds to connect to another

TV,
