BATTERY INSTALLATION
1, Make sure the unit 1s CFF,

back of the unit. Use a coin or
screwdriver ta loosen the screw.

2. Heplace the battery covar and
tighten the screw to secure the
battery cover,
TO ENSURE PROPER FUNCTION
— Do not mix old snd new batteries.

batteries (nicke-cadmium].
- Battery installation should be done by an adult.

TO BEGIN PLAY
1. To begin play, press the ON key located

. Select the activity you wish to play by
on the lower left corner of the keypad,
sliding the actwity selector [Bob's hand)
on the top.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
Activity 1: LEARN IT?
Slide the selector to the "Learn lt?
mode,
Press à number/character key and you
will hear Bob identify the number, followed
by a musical melody,
Press a colored shape or a letter key
and you will hear it identified.
Press the phone key and hear a phone ringing sound effect,
followed by Bob saying "Hello!"
Activity 2: FOLLOW IT?
= Slide the selectar to the "Fallow le” fs

— You must remember the sequence, and copy it by pressing the
keys in the correct order. The longest sequence consists of
characters, if vou reach this successiully, you win the game!
Following this, a new sequence will begin
— IF you enter the number correctly then Bob will congratulate you,
and then make the sequence harder by adding an extra character.
— If you enter the keys incorrectly, then Bob will say ‘Oops, try
again!’ He will repeat the sequence again. If you are still incorrect
after four attempts, Bob will say Oh nol. He will than provide
vou with the answer before begining à new sequence.
Activity 3: FIND IT?
— Slide the selector to the "Find ITY mode,
— Boab will ask you to find one of his
friends. Can vou helo him Ev pressin

the correct key?
— IF you are correct, Bob will congratulate
youl You will then hear the characters
catch phrase or sound effect. Bob will
then prompt you to find another friend.

If you press the incorrect key, Bob will say 'Dops, Ley again,
followed by repeating the question,
— Ifincorrech after four attempts, then Bob will say Oh no’ followed
by Bob identifying the character. He will then prompt you to find
another triend.
OFF THE HOOK
Fick up the receiver to hear the
phone ring.
— Press the character number keys to
hear the characters saying their catch
phrase or hear their sound effect!
— Press a colored shape Key or a letter
Key to hear it identified.
Put the receiver back down to enter ane
of the other activities, depending on the postion of the actrvity
selector
If there is no input for an extended time, the phone will ring randomly,
followed by Bob saying Hello!
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
