Congratulations on your purchase of the Harbinger APS15 two-way active loudspeaker.

By following these guidelines and suggestions, your new Harbinger loudspeaker will provide you with many years of great sound and reliable service.

Here’s what you’ll find:

WARNING - When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• This product, in combination with other headphones and speakers, may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for long periods of time at a high-volume level or any level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, consult a doctor.

• The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat resistors, or any other product that produces heat.

• The product should be connected to a designated power supply described in these instructions.

• The power supply cord should be unplugged when left unused for a long period of time.

• Care should be taken so that objects do not fall or liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through its openings.

• The product should be serviced by quality personnel when:

1. The power supply cord or plug has been damaged

2. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled in the product

3. The product has been exposed to rain

4. The product does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance

5. The product has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged

• Do not attempt to service the product beyond that described in the user-maintenance instructions. All other servicing should be performed by quality service personnel.

• Material damage refers to damage or other adverse effects caused with respect to the home and all its furnishings, as well as to domestic animals or pets.

1. MIC Inputs - Two MIC input pairs. Each one accepts a high-impedance ¼” jack and / or a low-impedance

XLR connection. For best results, use a low-impedance microphone and a properly wired cable.

2. LINE Input - Accepts line-level signals through the Dual RCA jacks or the single XLR connector.

3. LINE Out - Sends signal out before the power amp, for connection to another active speaker or any other device that accepts a line level signal.

4. Power Switch - Switches the unit on or off. Be sure to turn the MASTER level down before you turn the unit on.

5. FUSE & AC - This is a power socket with the FUSE holder.

1. 5-Band Graphic Equalizer - This equalizer comes before the master volume. Use it to adjust the overall equalization to prevent feedback, and enhance the tone of your music.

2. MIC - Controls the MIC input level.

3. LINE - Controls the LINE input level.

4. MASTER - Adjusts the final output level.

5. CLIP Indicator - This LED will illuminate if output signal exceeds the output capacity of the amplifier.

Reduce the input signal when it lights up.

Harbinger Limited Warranty

Harbinger provides to the original purchaser a two (2) year limited warranty on materials and workmanship on all

Harbinger cabinets and loudspeaker components from the date of purchase.

If your covered product is defective, ship the defective component together with proof of purchase, freight prepaid and insured, to an Authorized Harbinger repair center or directly to Harbinger Support Headquarters. If you are uncertain which component is defective, or to obtain instructions for removing a component, please contact Harbinger Support Headquarters for assistance at [email protected], or visit www.HarbingerProAudio.com.

A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from our Customer Service Department prior to shipping the product.

This warranty does not cover service or parts to repair damage caused by neglect, abuse, normal wear and tear and cosmetic appearance to the cabinetry not directly attributed to defects in materials or workmanship. Also excluded from coverage are damages caused directly or indirectly due to any service, repair(s), or modifications of the cabinet, which have not been authorized or approved by Harbinger. This two (2) year warranty does not cover service or parts to repair damage caused by accident, disaster, misuse, abuse, burnt voice-coils, over-powering, negligence, inadequate packing or inadequate shipping procedures. The sole and exclusive remedy of the foregoing limited warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of any defective or non-conforming component. All warranties including, but not limited to, the express warranty and the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the two (2) year warranty period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. There are no express warranties beyond those stated here. In the event that applicable law does not allow the limitation of the duration of the implied warranties to the warranty period, then the duration of the implied warranties shall be limited to as long as is provided by applicable law. No warranties apply after that period.

Retailer and manufacturer shall not be liable for damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of product, loss of time, interrupted operation or commercial loss or any other incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in equipment that is used with Harbinger products.

This guarantee gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.
