Please read these Instructions

Before operating and Retain for future reference.

- Check the Rating information on product, which should match with your local supply

Voltage.

- Never operate the kettle without water.

- The kettle can only be use to heat clean water.

- Must not fill the water over the maximum level (1.7L), otherwise it will be sprayed out.

- Boiling water can overflow

(risk of scalding) if the kettle is too full (more than 1.7L)

- Ensure that tea tray set is placed on a dry, non-slip, and horizontal surface.

- Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.

- Do not immerse kettle in the water; clean with a damp cloth.

- Always pick up the kettle by handle as the body becomes hot.

Always pull out the plug before

filling or cleaning the kettle and after use.

- If the connection cord is damaged it may only be replaced by an authorized dealer as a special tool is required.

- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.

Warning:

Children are often unaware of the dangers involved with electrical appliances. The tea tray set should therefore always be kept out of their reach.

Operating Instruction

Using for the first time:

Rinse the kettle before using for the first time. Connect to an

AC power supply.

Caution:

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a personresponsible for rtheir safety.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Filling with water:

Remove kettle from base. Only use clean water. Fill the kettle by opening the lid. The maximum amount is marked on the measuring scale.

Important: do not use the kettle to boil milk, drinks or other liquids except water.

Boiling:

- Place the filled kettle on the base so that the contact pins fit into the socket.

- Close the lid, Plug the kettle into the power supply and slide the switch down to start.

- To switch off the kettle

The kettle can be switched off at any time by sliding the switch up.

Automatic cut-out:

A few seconds after the water as reached boiling point, the automatic cut-out switches off the kettle.

Pouring water:

Pull out the plug, lift the kettle from the base and pour.

Safety cut-out:

The safety cut-out automatically switches off the kettle if

it was switched on with no water in it or if it boils dry.

Overheating protection:

If the safety cut-out no longer works, e. g. if the kettle has been dropped, the additional overheating protection further damage to the kettle in this case the kettle must be repaired by an authorized dealer.

How to make tea

1. Boiling water by using kettle

(see boiling instruction)

2. Prepare the tea leaf. Open glass jar by pressing button on top of jar handle , then fill the leaf into the filter.(see fig.1)

3. Pour boiling water from the kettle into the glass jar (see fig.2). then close the lid.

- The tea can be kept warm all the time by pressing the On/

Off switch of warming plate which located front of the base

(see fig.3) The red indicator light will ON shown the warming plate is operating.

Cleaning and care

Cleaning kettle

Unplug the kettle and remove from the base before cleaning and cooling. Do not immerse in water.

Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and rinse out the inside.

The base may only be wiped with a damp cloth.

Cleaning glass

Warning: wait until the glass jar has cooled down! before cleaning.

- Open the lid of glass jar, then

remove filter from glass jar , then cleaning glass jar and filter with clean water.

- To assembly the filter to the glass jar, ensure that pivot on filter is fit to the groove of glass jar.(see picture step 1

+2)

Descaling :

-Should the appliance switch off before reaching boiling point. this is a sign that decalcifying is necessary.

-Any regular descaling agent may be used, provided the relevant instructions are observed. Do not fill the kettle to the upper mark to avoid spillage if the descaling agent causes the water to foam.

-To clean the kettle throughly of any decalcification residues, let it go through several boiling cycles, using clean water with each cycle.

Rinse the kettle with clean water afterwards.

Repair:

If the connection cord is damaged it may only be replaced by an authorized dealer as a special tool is required.
