Utilisation conforme

Cet appareil est conçu pour dissoudre les salissures à la vapeur d'eau dans le cadre domestique, par exemple ...

– surfaces lisses : surfaces de travail, carreaux, fenêtres, miroirs

– zones difficilement accessibles : coins, joints, stores, W.-C., robinetterie, etc.

– textiles : rideaux, meubles capitonnés, vêtements, sièges de voiture.

Cet appareil n'est pas conçu :

– pour utilisationà l'extérieur,

Enlevez toutes les pièces de l'appareil de l'emballage et retirez l'ensemble du matériau d'emballage.

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement sur une prise électrique installée en bonne et due forme avec une tension secteur de 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.

► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appareil, débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise électrique.

► Retirez toujours la fiche secteur de la prise électrique, sans tirer sur le câble lui-même.

► Évitez de plier ou de coincer le cordon d'alimentation et posez-le de manière à que personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus.

► Faites immédiatement remplacer les fiches secteur ou les cordons d'alimentation endommagés par du personnel agréé ou par le service clientèle, pour éviter toute mise en danger.

► Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne soit pas mouillé ou humide pendant le fonctionnement. Acheminez-le de telle manière qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.

► Si l'appareil, le câble de raccordement ou la fiche secteur est endommagé, veuillez le/la faire remplacer par le service après-vente pour éviter toute mise en danger.

► Débranchez préalablement la fiche de la prise électrique avant de verser de l'eau dans l'appareil, de le nettoyer ou de remplacer des pièces de rechange.

► Utilisez l'appareil exclusivement dans des locaux secs, surtout pas à l'extérieur.

► Ne jamais immerger l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans d'autres liquides !

► Ne jamais diriger la vapeur vers des appareils ou équipements électriques qui contiennent des composants électriques comme l'intérieur de fours.

► Ne laissez jamais un appareil générant de la chaleur sans surveillance !

Après utilisation ou en cas d'interruptions du travail, débranchez toujours la fiche de la prise électrique. L'appareil chauffe et génère de la vapeur tant que la fiche est branchée dans la prise électrique !

► Utilisez l'appareil seulement si vous avez les mains sèches et conservez vos chaussures (n'utilisez pas l'appareil si vous êtes pieds nus). Vous réduisez ainsi des courants dangereux pouvant traverser le corps en cas de panne.

► Ne jamais diriger l'appareil vers des objets sensibles à l'humidité.

► Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou un manque d'expérience et de connaissances à condition qu'elles aient reçu une supervision ou des instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute sécurité et qu'elles comprennent les dangers encourus. Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l'appareil.

AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE DE BLESSURES !

► Ne jamais retirer la fermeture de sécurité 8 tant que de la vapeur s'échappe de la buse !

► Ne pas faire fonctionner l'appareil avec un réservoir vide. Lorsque la réserve d'eau est vide, débranchez le cordon d'alimentation, afin d'éviter la surchauffe.

► Les accessoires sont brûlants pendant leur utilisation ! Il y a risque d'ébouillantage !

► Laissez refroidir les accessoires utilisés avant de les démonter.

► Utilisez exclusivement les accessoires d'origine du fabricant prévus pour cet appareil. Des pièces différentes peuvent ne pas êtresuffisamment fiables.

► L'appareil ne doit pas être utilisé s'il est tombé, si des détériorations évidentes sont visibles ou s'il n'est pas étanche.

► L'appareil doit être tenu éloigné des enfants, lorsqu'il est allumé ou qu'il refroidit.

► Portez des gants, des lunettes de protection et un masque de protection pour les voies respiratoires, si vous essayez de dissoudre des matières dangereuses pour la santé.

► Ne dirigez jamais le jet de vapeur en direction des personnes ou des animaux. La vapeur brûlante peut provoquer de graves blessures.

Respecter les consignes de sécurité !

ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DOMMAGES MATÉRIELS !

► Contrôlez à un endroit non visible si le matériau à nettoyer est compatible avec un nettoyeur vapeur, par exemple :

– un bois vernis ou du cuir peut ternir à l'usage de la vapeur.

– Risque de boursouflure sur un bois non protégé.

– Risque de dissolution par la vapeur de couches de protection en cire.

– Les matières plastiques peuvent se ramollir et couler sous l'effet de la vapeur.

– Risque de déformation sous l'effet de la vapeur de pièces en plastique souple.

– Risque d'éclatementde pièces en verre, de miroirs, etc. exposés à la vapeur chaude.

► Pour le nettoyage d'une fenêtre : réchauffer la fenêtre en appliquant la vapeur d'abord à une distance plus grande, puis poursuivre l'application en se rapprochant progressivement de la fenêtre.

► L'acrylique, le velours, la soie ainsi que les fibres synthétiques sont sensibles

à la vapeur chaude.

Utilisation de l'appareil


Noter les recommandations suivantes pour garantir un fonctionnement sans incident et une longue durée de vie de l'appareil :

► N'appuyer sur le levier à vapeur que lorsque le voyant de contrôle vert 5 est allumé. Sinon, il y a risque d'accumulation d'eau chaude dans l'appareil avec égouttement ou pulvérisation par la buse à vapeur 6 .

Il y a risque d'ébouillantage.

► Avant d'arrêter l'appareil, toujours laisser sortir toute la vapeur de l'appareil. Appuyez sur le levier à vapeur , jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de vapeur sortant de la buse à vapeur 6 .

► Si l'appareil a été utilisé en fonctionnement permanent 2 , l'interrupteur

"Sécurité enfant" avec le symbole doit être actionné avant de l'arrêter.

Remplissage en eau/ appoint d'eau


► Toujours débrancher de la fiche secteur de la prise électrique avant de remplir le réservoir d'eau 3 !

Ouvrez la fermeture de sécurité 8 .


► Ne mettre aucun additif ni produit détergent dans le réservoir d'eau 3 !

REMARQUE

► Veillez à remplir env. 250 ml d'eau dans le réservoir 3 de l'appareil.

Remplissez l'eau par l'orifice de remplissage 7 du réservoir d'eau 3 .

Utilisez pour cela le gobelet gradué 16 et l'entonnoir 17 (voir figure).

Remplissez le gobelet gradué 16 jusqu'à la ligne marquée (env. 250 ml).

Refermez la fermeture de sécurité 8 .

■ S'il n'y a plus d'eau dans le réservoir d'eau 3 , la vapeur ne sort pas de l'appareil lors de l'actionnement du levier à vapeur . Effectuez le remplissage d'eau comme suit :

Débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise électrique.

Attendez env. 10 secondes.

Tournez lentement la fermeture de sécurité 8 et patientez quelques secondes avant l'ouverture complète jusqu'à ce que le sifflement de la vapeur d'eau s'arrête.

Remplissez le réservoir 3 avec de l'eau.

Refermez la fermeture de sécurité 8 .

Si l'eau du robinet de votre domicile est trop dure, il est recommandé de mélanger celle-ci avec de l'eau distillée. Sinon il y a risque d'entartrage prématuré de l'appareil et de colmatage de la buse à vapeur 6 .

Pour prolonger le fonctionnement optimal de l'appareil, mélanger l'eau du robinet avec de l'eau distillée selon les proportions indiquées dans le tableau.

Mise en service de l'appareil

1) Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise électrique.

Le voyant de contrôle rouge 4 s'allume et signale la liaison au réseau

électrique.

2) Dès que l'appareil est prêt à fonctionner, le témoin de contrôle vert 5 s'allume. Le voyant de contrôle rouge 4 reste allumé.

REMARQUE

► Au cours de la mise en chauffe, de la vapeur peut toujours s'échapper de la buse à vapeur 6 .

3) Appuyez le levier à vapeur vers le bas. La vapeur sort de la buse à vapeur 6 . Lorsque le jet de vapeur diminue, le voyant de contrôle 5 vert s'éteint.

Relâchez le levier à vapeur jusqu'à ce que le voyant de contrôle vert 5 s'allume à nouveau.

4) Si vous souhaitez travailler en mode continu avec l'appareil, poussez le levier de vapeur vers le bas et appuyez en même temps sur l'interrupteur "Sécurité enfant" 2 avec le symbole .

5) Pour quitter le fonctionnement permanent appuyez sur l'interrupteur "Sécurité enfant" 2 avec le symbole .

REMARQUE

► Si durant le fonctionnement de l'eau goutte de la buse à vapeur 6 ou si la vapeur diminue, relâchez le levier à vapeur . Il faut que l'appareil se remette d'abord en chauffe. Attendre que le témoin lumineux vert 5 se rallume.

► Le nettoyeur vapeur possède une protection anti-surchauffe. Elle s'enclenche automatiquement en cas de surchauffe (par ex. lorsque le réservoir d'eau est vide). Si c'est le cas, débranchez la fiche secteur et remplissez le réservoir d'eau 3 .


► Si l'appareil allumé reste inutilisé pendant un certain temps, il est possible que la vapeur s'échappe, même si le levier à vapeur n'est pas actionné !

Domaines d'application

Le nettoyage peut être réalisé soit avec la vapeur sortant directement de la buse

à vapeur 6 soit avec un embout.

■ N'utilisez pas d'embout pour nettoyer des toilettes, un évier, des robinets, des

écoulements, des fenêtres, du mobilier, des volets ou des miroirs.

Il suffit de racler l'eau avec la saleté dissoute sur les surfaces lisses après le nettoyage à l'aide de la raclette 13 .

REMARQUE

► Plus la buse à vapeur 6 est proche de la surface à nettoyer, plus le résultat obtenu est meilleur. La pression et la température de la vapeur sont au niveau maximal directement à la sortie de la buse à vapeur 6 .

► La saleté tenace doit d'abord tremper dans l'eau.

■ Utiliser l'embout incurvé 12 pour les coins étroits, les jointures ou les endroits difficilement accessibles.

■ Utiliser la brosse ronde 11 pour les salissures tenaces par ex. sur des jantes.

Installer/retirer l'embout


► Avant de mettre en place ou d'enlever un embout, toujours débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise électrique.

► Attendre que l'appareil ait refroidi avant de mettre en place ou d'enlever un embout.

► Attendre que la vapeur se soit évacuée de l'appareil avant de mettre en place ou d'enlever un embout.

Rallonge

Glissez la rallonge flexible 9 jusqu'à la butée sur la buse à vapeur 6 , la ligne marquée sur la rallonge flexible 9 et les lignes marquées sur l'appareil doivent pointer les unes vers les autres (voir volet dépliant A).

Tournez-la dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que les deux lignes marquées sur la rallonge flexible 9 pointent vers les deux lignes marquées sur l'appareil. La rallonge flexible 9 reste bloquée dans cette position (voir volet dépliant figure B).

REMARQUE

► Le dispositif sur l'appareil est muni d'ne articulation de manière à ce que l'embout puisse être orienté vers la meilleure position possible. Cela n'est cependant pas possible avec la rallonge flexible 9 .

■ Le démontage de la rallonge flexible 9 s'effectue en sens inverse.

Lance

Glissez la lance 10 jusqu'à la butée dans la buse à vapeur 6 , la ligne marquée doit pointer vers la lance 10 et les deux lignes marquées vers l'appareil (voir volet dépliant A).

Tournez dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que les deux lignes marquées sur la lance 10 soient alignées sur les deux lignes marquées de l'appareil. La lance 10 reste bloquée dans cette position

(voir volet dépliant figure B).

REMARQUE

► Le dispositif sur l'appareil est munid'une articulation de manière à ce que l'embout puisse être orienté vers la meilleure position possible. Cela n'est cependant pas possible avec la lance 10 .

■ Le retrait de la lance 10 se fait en sens inverse.

Montage de la raclette

Prenez l'embout meubles 14 et placez-le avec les deux fixations d'abord sur la raclette 13 .

Embout meubles

Glissez l'embout meubles 14 jusqu'à la butée sur la buse à vapeur 6 , la ligne marquée doit être orientée vers l'embout meubles

et les lignes marquées sur l'appareil doivent être orientées les unes vers les autres

(voir volet dépliant figure A).

Tournez celui-ci dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que les deux lignes marquées soient orientées vers l'embout meubles 14 sur les deux lignes marquées de l'appareil. L'embout meubles 14 reste bloquée dans cette position (voir volet dépliant B).

■ Pour l'utilisation avec l'embout meubles 14 une housse en coton 15 est jointe

à la livraison. Celle-ci peut être utilisée pour nettoyer des surfaces fragiles comme par ex. les canapés et les fauteuils.

REMARQUE

► Le dispositif sur l'appareil est muni d'une articulation, afin que l'embout puisse être orienté vers la meilleure position possible. Cela n'est cependant pas possible avec l'embout meubles 14 .

■ Le retrait de l'embout meubles 14 s'effectue en sens inverse.

Embout incurvé et brosse ronde

■ Les deux embouts peuvent être tout aussi bien fixés sur la lance 10 que sur la rallonge flexible 9 ou bien directement sur la buse à vapeur 6 .

Glissez l'embout respectif jusqu'à l'hexagone.

REMARQUE

► Le dispositif sur l'appareil est muni d'une articulation, afin que l'embout puisse être orienté vers la meilleure position possible.

► L'embout respectif peut être tourné en position souhaitée.

Sécurité enfant

Cet appareil est équipé d'une sécurité enfant 2 .

■ Pour activer la sécurité enfant 2 , appuyez sur l'interrupteur "Sécurité enfant" 2 avec le symbole . Le levier à vapeur ne peut maintenant plus être déplacé vers le bas.

■ Pour désactiver la sécurité enfant 2 appuyez sur l'interrupteur "Sécurité enfant" 2 avec le symbole manœuvrable.

. Le levier à vapeur est alors de nouveau

Nettoyage


► Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, retirez toujours la fiche secteur de la prise de courant.

► Lors du nettoyage, ne plongez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau et ne le tenez pas sous l'eau courante.

AVERTISSEMENT - RISQUE DE BLESSURE !

► Laissez refroidir l'appareil avant de le nettoyer !


► N'utilisez pas de détergents agressifs ou abrasifs. Ceux-ci peuvent attaquer les surfaces de manière irréversible !

Débranchez la fiche secteur.

Laissez l'appareil refroidir.

Videz le réservoir d'eau 3 .

Nettoyez l'appareil et les accessoires à l'aide d'un chiffon humidifié. En cas de taches tenaces, mettez du produit vaisselle doux sur votre chiffon.

■ La housse en coton 15 amovible peut être nettoyée en cas de fortes salissures conformément aux symboles de nettoyage figurant sur l'étiquette.

La housse en coton 15 peut être lavée en machine à 60 °C.

La housse en coton 15 peut être séchée dans le sèche

-linge à température basse.

Ne pas repasser la housse en coton 15 .

Rangement

Rangez l'appareil nettoyé et sec dans un local propre et sans poussière.

Dépannage

PROBLÈME

L'appareil ne fonctionne pas.

Absence de vapeur.

POSSIBLE

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz an.

► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen, und bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, den

Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie das

Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden kann.

► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie erst den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät mit

Wasser befüllen, reinigen oder Zubehörteile wechseln.

► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen, nicht im Freien.

► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein!

► Richten Sie den Dampf niemals direkt auf elektrische Geräte oder Einrichtungen, die elektrische Bauteile enthalten, wie zum Beispiel den Innenraum von Öfen.

► Lassen Sie ein Hitze erzeugendes Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt! Ziehen

Sie nach Gebrauch oder bei Arbeitsunterbrechungen stets den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Das Gerät heizt und erzeugt solange Dampfdruck, wie der

Stecker in der Steckdose steckt!

► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit trockenen Händen und nicht ohne Schuhe

(nicht barfuß). Damit verringern Sie im Fehlerfall gefährliche Körperströme.

► Richten Sie das Gerät nie auf feuchteempfindliche Gegenstände.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Nehmen Sie niemals den Sicherheitsverschluss 8 ab, solange noch Dampf aus der Dampfdüse tritt!

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit leerem Tank. Wenn der Wasservorrat verbraucht ist, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, um ein Überhitzen zu vermeiden.

► Die Zubehörteile werden bei Verwendung heiß! Es besteht Verbrühungsgefahr!

► Lassen Sie die verwendeten Zubehörteile erst abkühlen, bevor Sie diese abnehmen.

► Verwenden Sie nur die Original-Zubehörteile zu diesem Gerät. Andere

Teile sind dafür möglicherweise nicht ausreichend sicher.

► Das Gerät darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn es heruntergefallen ist, wenn offensichtliche Beschädigungen sichtbar sind oder wenn es undicht ist.

► Das Gerät ist von Kindern fernzuhalten wenn es eingeschaltet ist oder sich abkühlt.

► Tragen Sie Handschuhe, Schutzbrille und Atemschutz, wenn Sie gesundheitsgefährdende Stoffe zu lösen versuchen.

► Richten Sie niemals den Dampfstrahl auf Menschen oder Tiere. Heißer

Dampf kann erhebliche Verletzungen bewirken!

Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise!

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Prüfen Sie erst an einer unauffälligen Stelle, ob das zu reinigende Material für die Reinigung mit einem Dampfreiniger geeignet ist, z. B.:

– Lackiertes Holz oder Leder kann durch Dampf ausgebleicht werden.

– Ungeschütztes Holz kann quellen.

– Wachs-Schutzschichten können durch Dampf abgelöst werden.

– Kunststoffe können durch Dampfeinwirkung anlaufen.

– Weich-Kunststoffe können sich unter Dampfeinwirkung verformen.

– Kalte Glas- oder Spiegelflächen können springen, wenn heißer Dampf auftrifft.

► Wenn Sie Fenster reinigen wollen, müssen Sie diese erst vorher erwärmen, z. B. indem Sie zunächst aus größerem Abstand und dann immer näher heran großflächig Dampf auftragen.

► Acryl, Samt und Seide reagieren empfindlich auf heißen Dampf, ebenso

Kunststoff-Fasern.

Gerät bedienen


Bitte beachten Sie folgende Hinweise, um einen einwandfreien

Betrieb und eine lange Lebensdauer des Gerätes zu gewährleisten:

► Dampfhebel erst drücken, wenn die grüne Kontrollleuchte 5 leuchtet.

Ansonsten kann es im Gerät zur Ansammlung von heißem Wasser kommen, das aus der Dampfdüse 6 tropft oder sprüht. Es besteht Verbrühungsgefahr.

► Vor dem Ausschalten immer allen Dampf aus dem Gerät entweichen lassen. Drücken Sie den Dampfhebel , bis kein Dampf mehr aus der

Dampfdüse 6 kommt.

► Falls das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb verwendet wurde, muss der Schalter „Kindersicherung“ 2 mit dem Symbol vor dem Aussschalten betätigt werden.

Wasser einfüllen / nachfüllen

► Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, bevor Sie Wasser in den Wassertank 3 nachfüllen!

Öffnen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss 8 .


► Geben Sie keine Zusätze oder Reinigungsmittel in den Wassertank 3 !

HINWEIS

► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie ca. 250 ml Wasser in den Wassertank 3 des

Gerätes einfüllen.

Füllen Sie über die Einfüllöffnung 7 den Wassertank 3 mit Wasser.

Nehmen Sie hierzu den mitgelieferten Messbecher 16 und den Trichter

17 zur Hilfe (siehe Abbildung). Füllen Sie den Messbecher 16 bis zu der

Markierungslinie mit Wasser (ca. 250 ml).

Schließen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss 8 wieder.

■ Ist kein Wasser mehr im Wassertank 3 , tritt bei Betätigung des Dampfhebels

kein Dampf mehr aus. Das Auffüllen des Wassers muss wie folgt vorgenommen werden:

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Warten Sie ungefähr 10 Sekunden.

Drehen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss 8 langsam auf und vor vollständigem Öffnen einige Sekunden warten, bis das Zischen des Wasserdampfes aufgehört hat.

Füllen Sie den Wassertank 3 wieder mit Wasser auf.

Schließen Sie den Sicherheitsverschluss 8 wieder.

Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes sehr hart sein, empfiehlt es sich, das

Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten kann das Gerät vorzeitig verkalken und die Dampfdüse 6 verstopfen.

Zur Verlängerung der optimalen Funktion des Gerätes mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der folgenden Tabelle.

Gerät in Betrieb nehmen

1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

Die rote Kontrollleuchte 4 leuchtet und signalisiert die Verbindung zum

Stromnetz.

2) Sobald das Gerät betriebsbereit ist, leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuchte 5 .

Die rote Kontrollleuchte 4 leuchtet weiter.

HINWEIS

► Während des Aufheizens kann es immer wieder zum Entweichen von

Dampf aus der Dampfdüse 6 kommen.

3) Drücken Sie den Dampfhebel nach unten. Dampf tritt aus der Dampfdüse

6 aus. Wenn der Dampfstoß nachlässt, erlischt die grüne Kontrollleuchte 5 .

Lassen Sie solange den Dampfhebel los, bis die grüne Kontrollleuchte 5 wieder leuchtet.

4) Wenn Sie mit dem Gerät im Dauerbetrieb arbeiten möchten, drücken Sie den Dampfhebel nach unten und gleichzeitig den Schalter „Kindersicherung“ 2 mit dem Symbol .

5) Um den Dauerbetrieb zu beenden, drücken Sie den Schalter „Kindersicherung“ 2 mit dem Symbol .

HINWEIS

► Wenn während des Betriebes Wasser aus der Dampfdüse 6 tropft oder der austretende Dampf nachlässt, lösen Sie den Dampfhebel . Das Gerät muss erst wieder aufheizen. Warten Sie, bis die grüne Kontrollleuchte 5 wieder leuchtet.

► Der Dampfreiniger besitzt einen Überhitzungsschutz. Er schaltet sich bei

Überhitzung (z. B. durch leeren Wassertank) automatisch ab. Ist dies der

Fall, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und befüllen Sie den Wassertank 3 .

► Wenn Sie das Gerät eingeschaltet für längere Zeit abstellen, kann es sein, dass Dampf entweicht, obwohl der Dampfhebel nicht gedrückt wird!

Anwendungsbereiche

Sie können zum Reinigen entweder den Dampf direkt aus der Dampfdüse 6 verwenden oder einen Aufsatz aufsetzen.

■ Benutzen Sie keinen Aufsatz, wenn Sie zum Beispiel Toilette und Waschbecken, Armaturen und Abflüsse, Fenster, Möbelstoffe, Fensterläden oder

Spiegel reinigen wollen.

Sie können das Wasser mit dem gelösten Schmutz auf glatten Flächen nach der Reinigung mit dem Abzieheraufsatz 13 einfach abziehen.

HINWEIS

► Je näher die Dampfdüse 6 an der zu reinigenden Fläche, desto besser die

Wirkung. Der Dampfdruck und -temperatur sind unmittelbar bei Austritt an der Dampfdüse 6 am höchsten.

► Hartnäckiger Schmutz muss vorher mit Wasser eingeweicht werden.

■ Benutzen Sie die Winkeldüse 12 für enge Ecken oder Fugen oder schwer zugängliche Stellen.

■ Benutzen Sie die Rundbürste 11 für hartnäckige Verschmutzungen, zum

Beispiel an Felgen.

► Ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Netzsteckdose, bevor Sie einen

Aufsatz aufsetzen/abnehmen.

Nehmen Sie die Polsterdüse 14 und setzen Sie diese mit den beiden Halterungen zuerst auf den Abzieheraufsatz 13 .

Safety guidelines

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a mains power voltage of 220–240 V ~ / 50 Hz.

► In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the socket, do not pull the power cable itself.

► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.

► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Customer Service

Department.

► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use.

Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or damaged.

► Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become damaged, arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to avoid hazardous situations.

► Disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket before filling it with water, changing accessories or cleaning it.

► Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not outdoors.

► Never submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!

► Never aim the steam jet directly at electrical appliances or equipment which contains electrical components, such as the interior of ovens.

► Never leave a heat-generating device unattended! After use or during work pauses, always remove the plug from the mains power socket. The appliance heats up and generates steam pressure continuously when the plug is connected to a mains power socket!

► Use the appliance only with dry hands and never without shoes (i.e. not barefoot). This will help reduce the effect of an electric shock in the event of a malfunction.

► Never aim the appliance at moisture-sensitive objects.

► This appliance may be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. The appliance must not be used as a plaything by children.

► Never remove the safety valve 8 if steam is still exiting the steam nozzle!

► Do not operate the appliance with an empty water tank. When the water reserve is used up, remove the power cable to prevent the appliance from overheating.

► The accessories will get hot during use! There is a risk of scalding!

► Allow the accessories used to cool down before dismantling them.

► Use only the original accessory parts for this appliance. Other accessories may not meet the safety requirements.

► The appliance may not be used if it has been dropped, if there are any obvious signs of physical damage or if it is leaking.

► The appliance must be kept out of the reach of children if it is switched on or is cooling down.

► Wear gloves, protective glasses and breathing protection equipment when attempting to remove substances that could be hazardous to health.

► Never direct the steam toward people or animals. Hot steam can cause serious injuries!

► Start by carrying out a test on an unobtrusive area to be certain that the material is suitable for cleaning with a steam cleaner, for instance:

– Painted/varnished wood or leather can be bleached by steam.

– Unprotected wood can swell up.

– Protective wax coatings can be dissolved by steam.

– Plastics can become tarnished from the effects of steam.

– Soft plastics can deform when exposed to steam.

– Cold glass or mirror surfaces can crack when sprayed with hot steam.

► If you wish to clean windows, you must first preheat them, for instance by applying the steam over large areas from a greater distance, then moving in progressively closer.

► Acrylics, velvet and silk react sensitively to hot steam, as do plastic fibres.

Operating the appliance


To ensure fault-free operation and a long service life for the appliance, pay heed to the following instructions:

► Do not press the steam lever until the green control lamp 5 lights up.

If you press too early, it may cause an accumulation of hot water in the steam nozzle 6 which will drip or spray from the nozzle. There is a risk of scalding.

► Before switching off, allow all of the steam to escape from the appliance.

Press the steam lever until no more steam comes out of the steam nozzle 6 .

► If the appliance is to be used in continuous operation, the "Child safety lock" button 2 with the symbol

must be pressed before switching off.

Filling/refilling with water


► Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before you add water to the water tank 3 !

Open the safety valve 8 .


► Do not put any additives or cleaning agents in the water tank 3 !

NOTE

► Ensure that you fill the appliance’s water tank 3 with around 250 ml of water.

Fill the water tank 3 with water through the filler opening 7 .

To do this, use the supplied measuring cup 16 and the funnel 17 for assistance

(see figure). Fill the measuring cup 16 with water up to the marking line

(approx. 250 ml).

■ If there is no more water in the water tank 3 , no steam will come out when the steam lever is pressed . The water tank must be filled as follows:

Remove the plug from the mains power socket.

Wait about 10 seconds.

Slowly open the safety valve 8 . Before fully opening up the valve, wait a few seconds until the hissing of the water vapour stops.

Fill the water tank 3 with water.

Reclose the safety valve 8 .

If the mains water at your locality is rated as hard, it is recommended that you mix the mains water with distilled water. Otherwise, the appliance could calcify prematurely and clog the steam nozzle 6 .

To extend the optimal functioning of the appliance, mix the mains water with distilled water as per the following table.

Operating the appliance

1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

The red control lamp 4 lights up to indicate that there is a connection to the mains electricity.

2) As soon as the appliance is ready to use, the green control lamp 5 lights up. The red control lamp 4 stays lit.

NOTE

► While heating up, steam may occasionally escape from the steam nozzle 6 .

3) Press the steam lever downwards. Steam comes out of the steam nozzle 6 .

If the steam pressure drops, the green control lamp 5 will go out.

Release the steam lever until the green control lamp 5 comes back on.

4) If you want to work with the appliance in continuous operation, press the steam lever down and at the same time press the "Child safety lock" button 2 with the icon.

5) To end continuous operation, press the "Child safety lock" button 2 with the icon.

NOTE

► If water drips out of the steam nozzle 6 during operation or the steam pressure falls, release the steam lever . The appliance needs to heat up again. Wait until the green control lamp 5 lights up again.

► The steam cleaner has a thermal cut-out. It switches itself off automatically in case of overheating (e.g. due to an empty water tank). If this happens, pull out the mains plug and refill the water tank 3 .


► If you stop working for an extended period of time and leave the appliance switched on, steam may occasionally escape even though the steam lever is not pressed.

Areas of application

You can clean either by using steam directly from the steam nozzle 6 or you can fit an accessory.

■ Do not use an accessory if you want to clean items such as toilets and sinks, taps and drains, windows, furniture, fabrics, shutters or mirrors.

You can easily remove water and dissolved dirt from smooth surfaces after cleaning using the squeegee attachment 13 .

NOTE

► The closer you hold the steam nozzle 6 to the surface to be cleaned, the better the effect. The steam pressure and temperature are at their highest directly after leaving to the steam nozzle 6 .

► Stubborn stains and dirt must be soaked with water beforehand.

Fitting/removing attachments


► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you fit/remove an attachment.

► Wait until the appliance has cooled down before you fit/remove an attachment.

► Wait until all of the steam has dissipated before you fit/remove an attachment.

Extension hose

Push the extension hose 9 on to the steam nozzle 6 as far as the stop.

The marking line on the extension hose 9 and the marking line on the appliance must be aligned with each other

(see fold-out page Figure A).

Turn anticlockwise until both marking lines on the extension hose 9 are aligned with both marking lines on the appliance. The extension hose 9 remains locked in this position (see fold-out page Figure B).

NOTE

Extension nozzle

Push the extension nozzle 10 on to the steam nozzle 6 as far as the stop .

The marking line on the extension nozzle 10 and the marking line on the appliance must be aligned with each other (see fold-out page Figure A).

Turn anticlockwise until both marking lines on the extension nozzle 10 are aligned with both marking lines on the appliance. The extension nozzle 10 remains locked in this position (see fold-out page Figure B).

Assembling the squeegee

Remove the upholstery nozzle 14 and place this together with the two brackets onto the squeegee attachment

13 .

Then press the upholstery nozzle 14 under the mount of the squeegee attachment 13 (see fold-out page).

Angle nozzle and round brush

■ Both of these attachments can be used either on the extension hose 10 or on the extension nozzle 9 or directly onto the steam nozzle 6 .

Push the respective attachment on the hexagonal mount.

NOTE

► The fixture on the appliance has a joint so that the attachment can be aligned to the best usage position.

► The respective attachment can now be turned to the desired position.

Child safety lock

This appliance is equipped with a child safety lock 2 .

■ To activate the child safety lock 2 , press the "Child safety lock" button 2 with the icon. The steam lever can now no longer be pressed down.

■ To deactivate the child safety lock 2 , press the "Child safety lock" button 2 with the icon. The steam lever can now be activated again.

Cleaning


► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the appliance.

► You must never immerse the appliance in water when cleaning it or hold it under running water.

WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it.


► Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents!

They could irreparably damage the surface!

The cotton cover 15 is machine washable at 60°C.

The cotton cover 15 can be dried at a low temperature in a tumble drier.

Store the cleaned and dried appliance in a clean and dust-free location.

Disposal of the appliance

Under no circumstances should you dispose of the appliance with the normal household waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations.

Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Disposal of packaging materials

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage.

The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

► If possible, keep the original packaging of the appliance during the warranty period so that the device can be packed properly for returning in the event of a warranty claim.
