UNSTOPPABLE
THE NEW BMW R 1200 GS is one of a kind. This UNSTOPPABLE machine offers unlimited freedom to the rider.

MORE CONTROL –
A DRIVE SYSTEM
THAT WON’T LET YOU DOWN
You can count on the R 1200 GS, the benchmark for Enduro riders everywhere. And now we have made it even better and more powerful. Its new power plant delivers 105 horsepower across a wider usable rev range than ever before. Add to that the new gear ratios and lower nal drive ratio, and the result is a unique combination of instant response and dynamic power delivery for maximum excitement wherever you go.

MORE PERFECT –
LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
A small change can sometimes make all the difference – the difference between merely good and UNSTOPPABLE. Which is why BMW Motorrad has completely redesigned the handlebars of the R 1200 GS.
To ensure better ergonomics during off-road riding in a standing position, they can be mounted further forward than is usual. The seat design has also been improved, and an extra-tough two-section hand guard is tted as standard.

THE NEW
BMW R 1200 GS
An UNSTOPPABLE machine that offers unlimited freedom to the rider. The new R 1200 GS is equally competent on tarmac and rough terrain, so the only restriction on your touring is how homesick you get. It now features a revised transmission to take on even more abuse, the better looks to make it stand out from the crowd and add to that, for the rst time, the Enduro ESA suspension option. No wonder it’s the world’s standard for Enduros. The BMW R 1200 GS – because even the most free of spirits need something to rely on.
