35MM MANUAL ZOOM CAMERA WITH BUILT-IN FLASH

OPERATION MANUAL

The camera uses 2 AA alkaline batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix different types of batteries.

1. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the camera.

2. Silde the battery cover in the direction of the arrow marked on it.

3. Lift the cover to open.

4. Insert two batteries one by one by following the steps as figure

1 and 2, with "-" terminal insertion prior to "+" terminal. And ensure the right insertion according to the "+" and "-" contacts as marked on the underside of the battery cover.

5. Close the battery cover by pushing in the opposite direction of the arrow maked on it.

Note:

Batteries are necessary for taking flash pictures only.

Replace batteries if the recycle, flash charge time exceed

15 seconds.

To extend the battery life, turn the flash off after taking pictures by sliding the flash swich to the position of "OFF".

1. Slide and release the back cover latch in the direction of the arrow and open it by lifting the cover.

2. Pull out the rewind crank and insert the film cartidge into the film charnber, see figure 3. Press down the crank to hold the film cartridge.

3. Pull out about 60mm ( 3 Inches ) of the film from the cartridge and locate the tip of the film above the take up spool, and reach the ' film tip ' mark on the body, see figure 4.

Press the film gently to the take up spool surface and turn the film advance wheel in the direction of the arrow marked close to the wheel until the film lays flat on the film guide.

4. Close the back cover until it clicks.

5. Turn the advance wheel in the direction of the arrow marked close to the wheel until it stops, then press and release the shutter button. Repeat these steps until #1 appears inside the exposure counter, see figure 5. Camera is ready for taking the first picture.

Note:

If the advance wheel does not advance the film ( free turn ) and #1 does not appear inside the exposure window, repeat the film-loading procedure until the film is loaded correctly.

Note:

This camera has the shutter lock feature, which prevents the camera from taking unintentional picture.

Slide the shutter lock slide (1) to the left to unlock the shutter, see figure 6.

1. Turn the film advance wheel (20) until it stops.

2. Hold the camera steady, and compose your pictures looking through the viewfinder eyepiece (10).

3. Turn the zoom ring (6) to frame the photographed scene as you desire.

4. Press the shutter release button to take a picture.

5. Turn the advance wheel until it stops, you are ready to take the next picture.

You may slide the shutter lock slide to the right to prevent the shutter from being pressed down, the LOCK mark on the shutter release button will be exposed.

Do not dissemble the camera, there is a risk of electronic shock.

2. Do not expose the camera to extreme high or low temperature or humidity, they may cause serious damage to the camera.

3. If necessary, clean the lens by gently wiping it with a clean, lint-free cloth.

Do not use chemicals or other cleaning agents to clean the camera.

Remove the dust from the film compartment by using an air blower.

4. The small parts are a choking hazard. Keep away from children under 6 years.

5. Do not take pictures toward the sun directly, this is harmful to your eyes.

6. Remove a batteries if you do not plan to use a camera for a long time.

Keep it in a cool and dry environment.

1. After the last available picture on the film is taken and the advance wheel will stop, you have to rewind the film.

2. Press down the rewind button (17), see figure 7.

3. Flip up the film rewind crank handle and turn clockwise, see figure 8.

4. Take time to keep rewinding and it will be completed only when the tension on the rewind crank drops suddenly and no more resistance exists.

5. Open the back cover and pull the rewind crank out then remove the film for processing.

When to use flash:

1. To take pictures indoors.

2. To take pictures outdoors in cloudy conditions.

3. Your subject is in the shadow.

4. Your subject is in backlight conditions.

How to use flash:

Slide the flash switch to the ON position and the flash ready indicator will light up, inclicating that the flash is ready and will fire automatically when taking pictures.

Note: a. The flash ready lamp will light up for the next flash only when a few seconds required for flash charge is passed.

b. If the flash charge time exceeds 15 seconds, the batteries need to be replaced for their exhausted power.

Red-eye reduction lamp

What is red-eye reduction: when the picture is taken with flash, the red-eye reduction lamp will reduce the red-eye effect.

How to use red-eye reduction lamp:

1. Slide the flash switch to ON position.

2. Press gently down the shutter button half-way and the red-eye flash lamp will light up .

3. Press the shutter button fully to take a picture .
