Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Gerät aus dem Hause IDEAL entschieden haben.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

• Das Gerät dient ausschließlich zur Reinigung der Raumluft in

Innenräumen.

• Bitte lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme der Maschine unbedingt diese

Betriebsanleitung und beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise.

Die Betriebsanleitung muss jederzeit verfügbar sein.

Sicherheitshinweise

• Halten Sie Verpackungsmaterial, wie z. B. Folie von Kindern fern!

(Erstickungsgefahr)

• Befolgen Sie bitte diese Sicherheitsanweisungen, um das Risiko eines

Feuers oder elektrischen Schlags zu vermeiden. Benutzen Sie das Gerät

nur in Innenräumen.

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich eine Steckdose mit der angegebenen

Spannung (siehe Typenschild).

• Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen oder Reparaturen am Gerät vor.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall, wenn das Netzkabel oder der

Netzstecker beschädigt ist, oder wenn der Anschluss an der

Wandsteckdose instabil ist.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht eingeklemmt ist,

oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann. Verlegen Sie es so, dass

niemand darüber stolpern kann.

Belasten Sie das Netzkabel nicht auf Zug.

• Nehmen Sie im Falle einer längeren Nichtverwendung oder zum

Reinigen den Stecker aus der Wandsteckdose.

• Fassen Sie den Stecker oder das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen an.

• Bitte kein Insektenschutzmittel versprühen.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen, in denen die Luft

Brennstoffdampf, Öldampf oder Metallstaub enthalten kann.

• Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine leicht flüchtigen Flüssigkeiten,

Benzin, Kerosin, Farbverdünner oder Polierpaste. Diese könnten die

Geräteoberfläche beschädigen.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall Regen, Wasser, Nässe oder hoher

Luftfeuchtigkeit aus, stellen Sie es nicht im Badezimmer oder in der

Küche neben einem Wasch- oder Spülbecken auf.

• Es dürfen keine Fremdkörper in die Auslassgitter gelangen.

• Offenes Feuer und Funken sind zu vermeiden.

• Für die Beseitigung schädlicher Gase (Kohlenmonoxid, z.B. von

Brennheizungungsanlagen) ist das Gerät nicht geeignet.

• Das Gerät darf nicht von Personen (einschließlich Kindern) mit

reduzierten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder

fehlender Erfahrung und Kenntnis bedient werden, es sei denn,

sie werden überwacht oder beaufsichtigt.

Sicherheitshinweise

• Blockieren Sie den Luftein- und Luftauslass nicht.

• Setzen Sie den Luftreiniger nicht direktem Sonnenlicht, offenem Feuer

oder Wärme aus.

• Den Luftreiniger nur in Wohnräumen und innerhalb der spezifizierten

technischen Daten verwenden. Ein nicht bestimmungsgemäßer

Gebrauch kann Gesundheit und Leben gefährden.

• Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines Rauchmelders verwenden. Wenn die

Luft in Richtung eines Rauchmelders bläst, könnte der Alarm verspätet

oder überhaupt nicht ausgelöst werden.

Premium Textilüberzug

Auspacken und Aufstellen

Richtlinien zur Installation für optimale Funktion:

• Stellen Sie das Gerät mindestens 10 cm von der Wand entfernt auf.

• Vermeiden Sie Aufstellungsorte, an denen sich das Gerät im direkten

Luftstrom (Wind) befindet.

• Meiden Sie Aufstellungen an denen Möbel, Textilien oder andere Gegenstände mit dem

Luftein- bzw. Luftauslass in Kontakt kommen oder diesen blockieren können.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einer stabilen und ebenen Oberfläche auf und achten Sie auf eine

ausreichende Luftzirkulation.

Auspacken und Aufstellen

Textilüberzug (nur IDEAL AP40 Pro) aus der

Schutzfolie herausnehmen, um die

Filterpatrone herum anlegen und an der

Rückseite (Verschlussteil A ) verschließen.

Filterpatrone mit den drei Rastnasen in die dafür vorgesehenen drei Aussparungen einsetzen und am Verschlussteil ( A ) verriegeln .

B Netzkabel zuerst am Gerät, dann an der

Steckdose einstecken.

Wenn die Filterpatrone fehlt oder nicht korrekt montiert ist, blinkt die Schalt-Taste ( B ) rot und der Luftreiniger läuft nicht.

Hinweis:

Verwenden Sie die Originalverpackung zum Lagern, wenn Sie den Luftreiniger nicht ganzjährig benutzen. Zum Schutz der Aktivkohle bitte Filterpatrone luftdicht verpacken und lagern.

Sicherheitshinweis

Das Betreiben des Luftreinigers ohne vollständig und fest angebrachte

Verkleidungen und Schutzabdeckungen

(Motor Schutzgitter, Filterpatrone, etc.) ist nicht zulässig.

Bedienung

Inbetriebnahme / Lüfterstufen

1. Netzkabel einstecken, Schalt-Taste ( B ) antippen. Der Luftreiniger startet im

Automatikmodus . Die Schalt-Taste

leuchtet.

2. Durch Antippen der Schalt-Taste verlassen

Sie den Automatikmodus. Der Luftreiniger läuft nun auf Lüfterstufe 1 . Die

Schalt-Taste blinkt 1-mal.

3. Durch erneutes Antippen wird die

Lüfterstufe auf 2 erhöht. Die Schalt-

Taste blinkt 2-mal. Ein weiteres Drücken erhöht die Lüfterstufe auf 3 (blinkt

3-mal) bzw. auf die Turbolüfterstufe T

(blinkt 4-mal).

4. Tippen Sie erneut die Schalt-Taste an, wechselt der Luftreiniger in die

Quiet-Funktion . Die Schalt-Taste leuchtet schwach.

 Die Quiet-Funktion ist für einen besonders leisen und unauffälligen

Betrieb vorgesehen (z. B. Schlafzimmer).

Der Luftreiniger schaltet auf die kleinste

Lüfterstufe.

5. Bei erneutem Antippen der Schalt-Taste läuft der Luftreiniger wieder im

Automatikmodus .

Hinweis:

Durch Drücken und gedrückt halten der

Schalt-Taste, kann der Luftreiniger ausgeschaltet werden. Ein Antippen schaltet das Gerät wieder ein.

Luftqualitätsanzeige

Die Luftqualität wird in 3 Farben angezeigt

(in allen Lüfterstufen):

Schalt-Taste ( B ) grün: gute Luftqualität

Schalt-Taste gelb: mittlere Luftqualität

Schalt-Taste rot: schlechte Luftqualität

Filterwechselanzeige

Ein notwendiger Filterwechsel wird durch die orange blinkende Schalt-Taste ( B ) angezeigt (blinkt in Intervallen).

• Die zu erwartende Lebensdauer der

Filterpatrone beträgt ca. 1 Jahr

(je nach Lauf- und Reinigungsleistung).

• Werden Gerüche nicht mehr herausgefiltert,

bzw. produziert der Filter unangenehme

Gerüche, sollte die Filterpatrone früher

ausgetauscht werden.

• Verwenden Sie nur original

IDEAL-Filterpatronen. Das Gerät funktioniert

nur mit einer original IDEAL-Filterpatrone.

Hinweis:

Wenn die Filterpatrone fehlt oder nicht korrekt montiert ist, blinkt die Schalt-Taste rot und der

Luftreiniger läuft nicht.

Fernbedienung (nur IDEAL AP40 Pro)

Batteriegebrauch

• Benutzen Sie für die Fernbedienung immer 3V Lithium Batterien CR2025.

• Inkorrekter Batteriegebrauch kann zu auslaufender Batterieflüssigkeit und/oder Schäden

führen.

• Wenn die Fernbedienung über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg nicht benutzt wird, entfernen

Sie bitte die Batterie.

Ungeeignete Platzierung

• Es sollten sich während der Bedienung keine Objekte oder Möbel zwischen Fernbedienung

und Luftreiniger befinden.

• Der Luftreiniger sollte nicht in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung platziert werden.

Der Infrarotempfänger kann dadurch beeinträchtigt werden.

• Plätze, an denen Leuchtstoffröhren, aufgrund defekter/alter Röhren, flackern.

• Bewahren Sie die Fernbedienung nicht in direktem Sonnenlicht und/oder in der Nähe von

Heizungen/Heizgeräten auf.

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach durch

Drücken ( A ) und gleichzeitiges

Herausziehen ( B ). Leere Batterie

herausnehmen.

• Eine neue Batterie in das Batteriefach

einlegen und dabei auf die angegebene

Polarität achten (+ / -).

• Benutzen Sie bitte immer 3V Lithium

Batterien CR2025.

• Das Batteriefach wieder in den Sitz

einschieben ( C ).

Wichtige Hinweise zu Batterien und deren Entsorgung

Batterien gehören NICHT in den Hausmüll. Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich verpflichtet, gebrauchte Batterien zur fachgerechten Entsorgung zurückzugeben. Sie können Ihre Batterien bei den öffentlichen Sammelstellen in Ihrer Gemeinde abgeben oder überall dort, wo Batterien der gleichen Art verkauft werden.

• Achten Sie unbedingt auf die richtige Polarität der Batterien. Falsch eingesetzte Batterien

können zur Zerstörung des Gerätes führen – Brandgefahr.

• Versuchen Sie nicht, Batterien zu öffnen oder in irgendeiner Weise zu beschädigen und

werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer.

• Batterien, aus denen Flüssigkeit austritt, sind gefährlich. Berühren Sie diese nur mit

geeigneten Handschuhen.

• Batterien gehören nicht in die Hände von Kindern.

• Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie es für längere Zeit nicht benutzen.

A: Die gewünschte Lüfterstufe kann direkt angewählt werden.

Außerdem kann die Sperrung aufgehoben werden, indem der Luftreiniger vom Netz

getrennt wird.

Hinweis:

Bei Betätigung der Fernbedienung leuchtet als Empfangsbestätigung die Schalt-Taste am

Luftreiniger für ca. 1 Sekunde weiß auf. Wird bei aktivierter Verriegelungsfunktion die Schalt-Taste des Luftreinigers betätigt, leuchtet diese kurz rot auf.

Filterwechsel

Filterwechsel (z. B. nach Aufleuchten der Filterwechselanzeige, siehe Seite 9)

Hinweis:

Es können nur original IDEAL-Filterpatronen (Bestellung unter www.ideal.de) verwendet werden. Die Filterpatrone kann ohne Werkzeug ausgetauscht werden.

ACHTUNG!

Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

Luftreiniger auf den Kopf stellen. Netzstecker am Gerät abziehen.

Filterpatrone am Verschlussteil ( A ) entriegeln und abnehmen.

Textilüberzug (nur IDEAL AP40 Pro) abnehmen. Schutzfolie von der neuen

Filterpatrone entfernen.

Filterwechsel

App-Steuerung

Ihr Luftreiniger kann zusätzlich auch mit der "IDEALAIRPRO" - App über Ihr

Smartphone / Tablet gesteuert werden (iOS / Android).

WLAN WLAN-Status abfragen:

Der Luftreiniger ist eingeschaltet.

WLAN-Taste antippen

 das WLAN ist aktiviert, wenn die Schalt-Taste blau blinkt

 das WLAN ist deaktiviert, wenn die Schalt-Taste weiß blinkt.

WLAN aktivieren / deaktivieren

Der Luftreiniger ist eingeschaltet.

WLAN-Taste antippen und während dem blinken

(Schalt-Taste, blau oder weiß), die WLAN-Taste nochmals antippen, um das WLAN zu aktivieren bzw. zu deaktivieren.

WLAN zurücksetzen:

Der Luftreiniger ist eingeschaltet. WLAN ist aktiviert.

Schalt-Taste drücken und gedrückt halten und gleichzeitig WLAN-Taste drücken und gedrückt halten, bis die Schalt-Taste pink blinkt.

Reinigung und Pflege / Zubehör

Reinigung und Pflege

ACHTUNG: Vor Reinigungs- und Pflegearbeiten den Netzstecker ziehen!

• Wechseln Sie die Filterpatrone sobald die Filterwechselanzeige (Seite 9) aufleuchtet. Die

durchschnittliche Filterlebensdauer beträgt ca. 1 Jahr (je nach Lauf- und Reinigungsleistung).

• Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Luftreinigers mit einem mit Seifenlösung angefeuchteten,

fusselfreien Tuch.

• Reinigen Sie den Vorfilter der Filterpatrone mit einem Staubsauger.

• Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel. Diese könnten die Gehäuseoberfläche angreifen.

• Schützen Sie den Luftreiniger vor Wasser.

• Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung von silikonhaltigen Stoffen, da hierdurch der

Luftqualitätssensor zerstört werden könnte.

• Vermeiden Sie es, die Wirkung des Luftqualitätssensors mit stark dosierten Gasen, oder

Alkoholen zu testen, da der Luftqualitätssensor dadurch zerstört werden könnte.

• Reinigen Sie den Textilüberzug mit einem Staubsauger.

• Bei Bedarf kann der Textilüberzug auch per Handwäsche gereinigt werden (beachten Sie

dazu die Pflegehinweise auf dem Etikett).

Mögliche Störungen

Luftreiniger lässt sich nicht einschalten.

Die Schalt-Taste des Luftreinigers funktioniert nicht.

Die Tasten der Fernbedienung funktionieren nicht (nur IDEAL AP40 Pro).

Ist das Netzkabel an der Rückseite des

Gerätes sicher angeschlossen?

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel

keine Beschädigungen aufweist.

 Überprüfen Sie beide Enden des

Netzkabels. Stellen Sie sicher, dass diese

eingesteckt sind und eine Strom-

verbindung hergestellt ist (Seite 7).

Ist eine original IDEAL-Filterpatrone eingesetzt? Ist die Filterpatrone auch korrekt eingesetzt?

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass eine original

IDEAL-Filterpatrone eingesetzt ist.

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Filterpatrone

mit allen 3 Rastnasen eingerastet und

ganz verriegelt ist (Seite 7).

Ist die Verriegelungsfunktion aktiviert?

 Deaktivieren Sie die Verriegelungs-

funktion an der Fernbedienung (nur IDEAL

AP40 Pro) oder über die App (Funktion F

Seite 12).

 Netzkabel einmal aus- und dann wieder

einstecken.

Ist die Batterie der Fernbedienung nicht eingelegt? Oder leer?

 Überprüfen Sie die Batterie (3V Lithium

CR2025).

Korrekte Handhabung?

 Mit der Fernbedienung auf den Luftreiniger

zeigen (Seite 10).

 Nach dem Anschließen des Netzkabels

oder einem Filterwechsel ist die Funktion

der Fernbedienung für ca. 10 Sekunden

gesperrt.

Mögliche Störungen

Die Schalt-Taste leuchtet schwach oder gar nicht.

Der Automatikmodus funktioniert nicht ordnungsgemäß.

Gerüche werden schlecht gefiltert.

Ist der Luftreiniger eingeschaltet?

 Luftreiniger durch Betätigen der Schalt-

Taste (Seite 8) einschalten.

Ist die Quiet-Funktion aktiviert?

 Tippen Sie die Schalt-Taste einmal an,

der Luftreiniger schaltet weiter in den

Automatikmodus.

 Deaktivieren Sie die Quiet-Funktion durch

Anwählen einer anderen Lüfterstufe über

die App bzw. an der Fernbedienung (nur

IDEAL AP40 Pro).

Der Luftreiniger kalibriert den

Luftqualitätssensor. Dies geschieht beim ersten Einschalten und nach jeder

Netztrennung.

 Warten Sie bis der Kalibriervorgang

abgeschlossen ist (kann einige Minuten

dauern)

Der Luftqualitätssensor erkennt die

Luftqualität nicht zuverlässig.

 Kalibrieren Sie den Luftqualitätssensor

durch kurze Netztrennung neu!

Ist der Luftreiniger permanent starken

Gerüchen ausgesetzt?

 Ein Filterwechsel (Seite 13-14) ist

notwendig, da der Aktivkohlefilter

gesättigt ist und eine zuverlässige

Luftreinigung dadurch nicht mehr

gewährleistet ist.

Werden die Gerüche überhaupt eingezogen?

 Platzieren Sie den Luftreiniger näher an

die Geruchsquelle.

 Schalten Sie den Luftreiniger manuell auf

eine höhere Lüfterstufe (Seite 8).

Mögliche Störungen

Der Luftreiniger macht laute

Geräusche.

Ist die Filterpatrone stark verschmutzt?

 Reinigen Sie den Vorfilter mit

einem Staubsauger.

Befindet sich der Luftreiniger auf einer unebenen Oberfläche?

 Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene

Oberfläche.

Befindet sich der Luftreiniger in einer hohen Lüfterstufe?

 Stellen Sie mit der Schalt-Taste eine

kleinere Lüfterstufe ein.

Thank you for choosing a device from IDEAL.

Intended use

• The device is used exclusively for cleaning the ambient air indoors.

• Please read these operating instructions before starting to use the device and please follow the safety instructions.

The operating instructions must be kept available with the device at all times.

Safety instructions

• Keep packing material, such as plastic wrapping, away from children!

(Risk of suffocation)

• Please follow the safety instructions to prevent fire or electric shock.

Only use the device indoors.

• Only use a wall socket that supplies the correct voltage (see rating plate).

• Do not modify or repair the device.

• Do not use the device if the power cable or mains plug is damaged or if the connection at the wall socket is not stable.

• Make sure that the power cable does not get crushed while you are using the device and that it cannot be damaged in any other way. Place the cable so that no one will trip over it. Do not place the power cable under strain.

• Disconnect the plug from the wall socket for cleaning purposes and whenever the device is not in use for a significant period of time.

• Do not touch the plug or the device if you have wet hands.

• Do not spray any insect repellent.

• Do not use in rooms where the device may come into contact with fuel vapour or metal dust.

• Do not use any volatile liquids, petroleum, kerosene, paint thinner or polishing paste to clean the device. Such liquids may damage the surface of the device.

• Do not expose the device to rain, water, moisture or high humidity, and do not set it up in a bathroom or kitchen next to a sink.

• Make sure that no foreign objects get into the outlet grilles.

• Do not use near an open fire or sparks.

• The device is not suitable for removing harmful gases (carbon monoxide,

e.g. from heating appliances).

• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

• Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.

Unpacking and setting up

Installation guidelines for optimum performance:

• Place the device at least 10 cm away from the wall.

• Keep the device away from areas subjected to draft (wind).

• Make sure that furniture, fabrics or other objects do not come in contact with

the air intake/outlet or block them.

• Place the device on a stable, even surface and make sure there is sufficient air circulation.

Lift the filter cartridge out of the box, unpack it and remove the protective film.

Remove the air purifier (unit head) and unpack.

Unpacking and setting up

Take the textile cover (only IDEAL AP40 Pro) out of the protective film, place it around the filter cartridge and close it at the back (locking component A ).

Insert the filter cartridge with the three snap-fit tabs into the three recesses provided for this and lock it at the locking component ( A ) .

B Connect the power cable to the device first, then to the socket.

If the filter cartridge is missing or not installed correctly, the switch button ( B ) flashes red and the air purifier will not work.

Note:

Use the original packaging to store the air purifier if you are not using it all year round. Pack and store the filter cartridge airtight to protect the activated carbon.

Safety information

No operation of the air purifier without the complete and secure attachment of the cladding and safety covers

(Motor protection grille, filter cartridge, etc.).

Operation

Startup / Fan speeds

1. Plug in the power cable, press the switch button ( B ). The air purifier starts in automatic mode . The switch button lights up.

2. Press the switch button to exit automatic mode. The air purifier now runs at fan speed 1 . The switch button flashes

once.

3. Press again to increase the fan speed to 2 . The switch button flashes twice.

Press again to increase the fan speed to 3 (flashes 3 times) or to the turbofan speed T (flashes 4 times).

4. If you press the switch button again, the air purifier switches to the Quiet function .

The switch button lights up, but only dimly.

 The Quiet function is provided for particularly low-noise, unobtrusive operation

(e.g. bedrooms).

The air purifier switches to the lowest fan

speed.

5. When the switch button is pressed again, the air purifier returns to automatic mode .

Note:

The air purifier can be switched off by pressing and holding down the switch button. Just press it to switch the device back on.

Air quality indicator

The air quality is displayed in 3 colours (in all fan speeds):

Switch button ( B ) green: good air quality

Switch button yellow: average air quality

Switch button red: poor air quality

Filter replacement indicator

The switch button ( B ) flashes orange to indicate that the filter needs changing (flashes at intervals).

• The life expectancy of the filter is approx.

1 year (depending on operation and

purification activities).

• If odours are no longer being filtered out, or if the filter produces unpleasant odours, then the filter cartridge needs to be replaced sooner.

• Only use original IDEAL filter cartridge.

The device will only function with an original

IDEAL filter cartridge.

Note:

If the filter cartridge is missing or not installed correctly, the switch button flashes red and the air purifier will not work.

Remote control (only IDEAL AP40 Pro)

Battery usage

• Always use 3V lithium batteries CR2025 for the remote control.

• Incorrect battery usage may result in leakage of battery fluid and/or damage.

• If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, please remove the battery.

Unsuitable location

• Make sure that no objects or furnishings are situated between the remote control and the air purifier.

• The air purifier should not be placed in direct sunlight. This could impair the infrared sensor.

• Locations where fluorescent tubes are flickering because they are defective or old.

• Do not store the remote control in direct sunlight and/or close to radiators/heaters.

The remote control has a pre-installed lithium battery CR2025. Remove the protective flap to activate the remote control battery.

How to use correctly

• Point the remote control at the air purifier (switch button B ).

• Open the battery compartment by pressing

( A ) and pulling out ( B ) at the same time.

Take out the flat battery.

• Insert a new battery into the battery

compartment, making sure the polarity is

correct (+ / -).

• Always use 3V lithium batteries CR2025.

• Slide the battery compartment back into its seating ( C ).

Important information about the batteries and how to dispose of them

Batteries must NOT be disposed of with household waste. As the user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries for proper disposal. You can hand in your batteries at public collection points in your community or wherever the same type of batteries are sold.

• It is very important that you make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct.

Wrongly inserted batteries could destroy the device – a fire hazard.

• Do not try to open or damage batteries and do not throw batteries into a fire.

• Batteries that are leaking fluid are dangerous. Only touch these with suitable gloves.

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

• Take the batteries out of the device if you are not going to be using it for a significant period of time.

Pressing the timer while the air purifier is switched on activates the "switch-off timer"

 after the set time, the air purifier switches off.

Pressing the timer button while the air purifier is switched off activates the "switch-on timer"

 after the set time, the air purifier switches on.

Visualisation only in the app (smartphone / tablet).

F: Press the locking button to lock the air purifier switch button. Press the locking button again to unlock.

It can also be unlocked by disconnecting the air purifier from the mains.

Note:

When the remote control is operated, the switch button on the air purifier lights up white for approx. 1 second in acknowledgement. If you press the air purifier switch button when the locking function is activated, it lights up briefly in red.

Filter replacement

Filter replacement (e.g. in accordance with the filter replacement indicator, see page 31)

Note:

Only original IDEAL filter cartridges (order from www.ideal.de) may be used. No tools are required to replace the filter cartridge.

CAUTION!

Take the mains plug out of the socket.

Turn the air purifier upside down. Pull the mains plug out of the device.

Unlock the filter cartridge at the locking component ( A ) and remove.

Remove the textile cover

(only IDEAL AP40 Pro).

Remove the protective film from the new filter cartridge.

Filter replacement

A Put the textile cover (only IDEAL AP40 Pro) back on the filter cartridge and close it at the back (locking component A ).

Insert the filter cartridge with the three snap-fit tabs into the three recesses provided for this and lock it at the locking component ( A ) .

Connect the power cable to the device first, then to the socket.

The device will only work if the filter cartridge is installed correctly.

Note:

The air purifier automatically detects that a new IDEAL filter cartridge has been inserted and automatically resets the filter replacement indicator.

App Control / WLAN

Your purifier can additionally be controlled by the "IDEALAIRPRO" App via your smartphone / tablet (iOS /Android).

WLAN Querying the WLAN status:

The air purifier is switched on.

Press the WLAN button

 the WLAN is enabled when the switch button flashes blue

 the WLAN is disabled when the switch button flashes white.

Enabling/disabling WLAN

The air purifier is switched on.

Press the WLAN button and while the switch button is flashing (blue or white), press the

WLAN button again to enable or disable the

WLAN.

Resetting the WLAN:

The air purifier is switched on. WLAN is enabled.

Press and hold down the switch button and the

WLAN button at the same time until the switch button flashes pink.

Cleaning and maintenance / Accessories

Cleaning and maintenance

CAUTION: Disconnect the mains plug prior to any cleaning or maintenance work!

• Replace the filter cartridge as soon as the filter replacement indicator (page 31) lights up.

The average life expectancy of the filter is approx. 1 year (depending on operation and

purification activities).

• Clean the air purifier housing with a lint-free cloth moistened with soapy water.

• Clean the filter cartridge’s pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner.

• Do not use any solvents. These could damage the housing surface.

• Protect the air purifier from water.

• Do not use any substances containing silicone, since this could destroy the air quality sensor.

• Do not test the effectiveness of the air quality sensor with high quantities of gas, or alcohol, since this could destroy the air quality sensor.

• Clean the textile cover with a vacuum cleaner.

• If necessary, the textile cover can also be washed by hand (please refer to the care

instructions on the label).

Troubleshooting

The air purifier won’t switch on.

Is an original IDEAL filter cartridge installed? Is the filter cartridge also inserted correctly?

 Make sure that an original IDEAL filter

cartridge is inserted.

 Make sure that the filter cartridge is clicked

in place with all 3 tabs and is fully locked

(page 29).

Has the locking function been activated?

The switch button on the air purifier is not working.

 Disable the locking function on the remote

control (only IDEAL AP40 Pro) or via the

app (Function F Page 34).

 Unplug the power cable and then plug it

back in.

The buttons on the remote control do not work. (only IDEAL AP40 Pro).

Is the power cable securely connected to the back of the device?

 Make sure that the power cable is not

damaged in any way

 Check both ends of the power cable. Make

sure that these are plugged in and that the

purifier is connected to the power supply

(page 29).

Is the battery in the remote control?

Or is it flat?

 Check the battery (3V lithium CR2025).

Are you using it correctly?

 Point the remote control at the air purifier

(page 32).

 Having joined the power cord or

exchanged the filter, the function of the

remote control is blocked for

about 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting

The switch button is lit up only dimly or not lit up at all.

Is the air purifier switched on?

 Switch on the air purifier by pressing the

switch button (page 30).

Has the Quiet function been activated?

 If you press the switch button once, the air purifier switches to automatic mode.

 Disable the Quiet function by selecting a different fan speed via the app or on the remote control (only IDEAL AP40 Pro).

Automatic mode is not working properly.

The air purifier is calibrating the air quality sensor. This happens when you first switch it on and after disconnecting it from the mains.

 Wait until the calibration process has been completed (this may take a few minutes)

Odours are not being filtered properly.

The air quality sensor is not detecting the air quality reliably.

 Calibrate the air quality sensor by briefly

disconnecting it from the mains again!

Is the air purifier continuously exposed to strong odours?

 The filter needs to be changed

(page 35-36) because the activated

carbon filter becomes saturated and

reliable air purification is no longer

guaranteed.

Are the odours being drawn in at all?

 Place the air purifier closer to the source

of the odours.

 Switch the air purifier manually to a higher

fan speed (page 30).

Troubleshooting

The air purifier is making loud noises.

Is the filter cartridge really dirty?

 Clean the pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner.

Is the air purifier located on an even surface?

 Place the device on an even surface.

Is the air purifier running at a high fan speed?

 Use the switch button to set a lower fan speed.

The terms of warranty are defined by our local representative.

• If a material or design defect occurs during the warranty period, IDEAL shall repair or replace the device, or repay the purchase price, at its discretion.

• The warranty will only be honoured if sufficient evidence is submitted, e.g. sales receipt, and the claim under warranty is made within the warranty period.

• The warranty does not cover wearing parts or parts that need to be replaced regularly.

• The warranty shall be void if the device is not set up, adjusted and cleaned/maintained correctly (in accordance with the operating instructions).

• The warranty shall be void if the device is connected to a power supply that does not comply with the rating plate data.

Storage

We recommend storing the air purifier in its original packaging in a cool, dry place. Pack and store the filter cartridge airtight to protect the activated carbon.

Repairs

Repairs must only be carried out by qualified experts or the customer service department.

This also applies if you have a defective power cable. Any attempt by untrained persons to perform repairs may pose considerable risk to the user and invalidate the warranty.

Disposal

This device must not be disposed of with household waste! Please hand this device in at the collection points provided! Collecting and recycling electrical and electronic waste conserves valuable resources!

The packaging material can be recycled.

Déballage et installation

Consignes d'installation en vue d'un fonctionnement optimal :

• Installez l'appareil à au moins 10 cm du mur.

• Évitez les lieux d'installation dans lesquels l'appareil se trouverait exposé à un flux d'air direct

(vent).

• Évitez toute installation dans laquelle des meubles, des textiles ou autres objets pourraient entrer en contact avec l'orifice d'entrée ou d'évacuation d'air ou l'obstruer.

• Posez l'appareil sur une surface horizontale stable et veillez à une circulation suffisante de l'air.

Retirer le cordon d'alimentation ( 1.

), le mode d'emploi ( 2.

), la télécommande ( 3. IDEAL

AP40 Pro uniquement) et le revêtement textile ( 4.

IDEAL AP40 Pro uniquement).

Extraire la cartouche filtrante du carton, la déballer et retirer le film protecteur.

Extraire et déballer l'épurateur d'air (tête de l'appareil).

Déballage et installation

Sortir le revêtement textile (IDEAL AP40 Pro uniquement) de son film protecteur, l'envelopper autour de la cartouche filtrante et fermer à l'arrière (élément de fermeture A ).

Installer la cartouche filtrante en positionnant les trois ergots dans les trois évidements prévus à cet effet et verrouiller au niveau de l'élément de fermeture ( A ) .

B Brancher d'abord le cordon d'alimentation sur l'appareil, puis dans la prise de courant.

Si la cartouche filtrante est absente ou mal montée, la touche marche/arrêt clignote ( B ) en rouge et l'épurateur d'air ne fonctionne pas.

Remarque :

Conservez l'emballage à des fins de stockage si vous n'utilisez pas l'épurateur d'air toute l'année. Afin de préserver le charbon actif, veuillez stocker la cartouche filtrante dans un emballage hermétique.

Consignes de sécurité

Ne pas utiliser le filtre à air sans les parements et capots de protection intégralement montés et fixés (grille de protection du moteur, cartouche filtrante, etc.)

Utilisation

Mise en service / Niveaux de ventilation

1. Brancher le cordon d'alimentation, effleurer la touche marche/arrêt ( B ). L'épurateur d'air démarre en mode automatique .

La touche marche/arrêt s'allume.

2. En actionnant la touche marche/arrêt, vous quittez le mode automatique.

L'épurateur d'air fonctionne alors au niveau de ventilation 1 . La touche marche/arrêt clignote 1 fois.

3. En actionnant à nouveau la touche, la ventilation passe au niveau 2 .

La touche marche/arrêt clignote 2 fois.

Un nouvel actionnement permet de faire passer la ventilation au niveau 3

(clignote 3 fois) ou au niveau turbo

(clignote 4 fois).

4. En appuyant une nouvelle fois sur la touche marche/arrêt, la ventilation passe en mode silence . touche marche/arrêt s'illumine

faiblement.

 Le mode silence est prévu pour un fonctionnement particulièrement silencieux et discret (par ex. dans une chambre à

coucher).

L'épurateur d'air bascule sur le niveau de ventilation le plus faible.

5. En actionnant à nouveau la touche marche/ arrêt, l'épurateur d'air revient au mode

automatique .

Remarque :

Il est possible d'éteindre l'épurateur d'air en maintenant la touche marche/arrêt enfoncée.

Un nouvel actionnement permet de rallumer l'appareil.

Voyant de la qualité de l’air

La qualité de l'air est indiquée en 3 couleurs

(quel que soit le niveau de ventilation) : touche marche/arrêt ( B ) verte : bonne qualité de l'air touche marche/arrêt jaune : qualité de l'air médiocre touche marche/arrêt rouge : mauvaise qualité de l'air

Voyant de remplacement du filtre

La nécessité de remplacement du filtre est indiquée par le clignotement en orange de la touche marche/arrêt ( B ) (clignotement par intermittence).

• La durée de vie prévisible du filtre est égale à

1 an (selon les performances et la puissance d’épuration).

• Si les odeurs ne sont plus filtrées ou si le filtre produit des odeurs désagréables, la cartouche filtrante doit être remplacée plus tôt.

• N’utilisez que des filtres originaux IDEAL.

L’appareil ne fonctionne qu’avec un filtre

original IDEAL.

Remarque:

Si la cartouche filtrante est absente ou mal montée, la touche marche/arrêt clignote en rouge et l'épurateur d'air ne fonctionne pas.

Utilisation de la pile

• Pour la télécommande, utilisez toujours des piles 3V CR2025.

• Une utilisation incorrecte de la pile peut entraîner un écoulement du liquide de la pile et/ou des dommages.

• En cas de non-utilisation prolongée de la télécommande, veuillez retirer la pile.

Positionnement inapproprié

• Aucun objet, ni aucun meuble ne doit se trouver entre la télécommande et l'épurateur d'air.

• L'épurateur d'air ne doit pas être exposé au rayonnement direct du soleil. Le capteur infrarouge peut s'en trouver endommagé.

• Les lieux dans lesquels des tubes fluorescents clignotent, en raison de tubes défectueux/ usagés.

• N'exposez pas la télécommande au rayonnement direct du soleil et/ou à proximité de chauffages/appareils de chauffage.

Remplacement de la pile

• Ouvrez le compartiment de la pile en appuyant dessus ( A ) et en le sortant simultanément ( B ). Retirer la pile usagée.

• Insérer une pile neuve dans le compartiment de la pile en respectant la polarité indiquée (+ / -).

• Utilisez toujours des piles 3V CR2025.

• Replacer le compartiment de la pile dans son logement ( C ).

Consignes importantes concernant les piles et leur mise au rebut

Les piles ne sont PAS des ordures ménagères. En tant que consommateurs, vous êtes légalement tenus de rapporter les piles usagées dans un centre de recyclage agréé. Vous pouvez déposer vos piles dans les points de collecte publics de votre localité ou dans n'importe quel point de vente de piles du même type.

• Respectez impérativement la polarité correcte des piles. Des piles mal installées peuvent entraîner une destruction de l'appareil - risque d'incendie.

• N'essayez pas d'ouvrir ou des dommages les piles et ne les jetez pas au feu.

• Les piles dont le liquide s'écoule présentent un risque. N'y touchez qu'avec des gants adaptés.

• Ne laissez pas les piles à portée des enfants.

• Ne sortez les piles de l'appareil qu'en cas de non-utilisation prolongée.

F : En actionnant la touche verrouillage , on bloque la touche marche/arrêt de l’épurateur d’air. Un nouvel appui sur la touche verrouillage lève le blocage.

Le blocage peut également être levé en débranchant l’épurateur d’air.

Remarque :

En actionnant la télécommande, la touche marche/arrêt de l’épurateur d’air s’allume en blanc pendant environ 1 seconde pour confirmer la réception. Lorsque la confirmation a lieu alors que la fonction de verrouillage est active, la touche marche/arrêt s’allume brièvement en rouge.

Remplacement du filtre

(par ex. après l'illumination du voyant de la qualité de l'air, voir page 53)

Remarque :

Utiliser exclusivement des cartouches filtrantes originales IDEAL (à commander sur www.ideal.de). La cartouche filtrante peut être remplacée sans outillage.

ATTENTION

Débrancher la fiche d'alimentation de la prise.

Poser l'épurateur d'air à l'envers. Débrancher la fiche d'alimentation sur l'appareil.

Déverrouiller la cartouche filtrante au niveau de l'élément de fermeture ( A ) , puis la retirer.

Enlever le revêtement textile (IDEAL AP40

Pro uniquement). Retirer le film protecteur sur la cartouche filtrante neuve.

Remplacement du filtre

A Remettre en place le revêtement textile

(IDEAL AP40 Pro uniquement) sur la cartouche filtrante et le fermer à l'arrière

(élément de fermeture A ).

Installer la cartouche filtrante en positionnant les trois ergots dans les trois évidements prévus à cet effet et verrouiller au niveau de l'élément de fermeture ( A ) .

Brancher d'abord le cordon d'alimentation sur l'appareil, puis dans la prise de courant.

L'appareil ne fonctionne que si la cartouche filtrante est correctement montée.

Remarque :

L'épurateur d'air détecte automatiquement qu'une cartouche filtrante IDEAL neuve a été installée et réinitialise automatiquement le voyant de remplacement du filtre.

Votre purificateur peut aussi être piloté avec l’application « IDEALAIRPRO » depuis votre smartphone / tablette (iOS / Android).

WiFi Consulter l'état de la connexion WiFi :

L'épurateur d'air est en marche.

Appuyer sur la touche WiFi

 le WiFi est activé lorsque la touche marche/arrêt clignote en bleu

 le WiFi est désactivé lorsque la touche marche/arrêt clignote en blanc.

Activer / désactiver le WiFi

L'épurateur d'air est en marche.

Appuyer sur la touche WiFi. Lorsque la touche marche/arrêt se met à clignoter (en bleu ou en blanc), appuyer une nouvelle fois sur la touche

WiFi pour activer ou désactiver le WiFi.

Réinitialiser le WiFi :

L'épurateur d'air est en marche. Le WiFi est activé.

Tout en maintenant la touche marche/arrêt enfoncée, appuyer sur la touche WiFi et la maintenir enfoncée jusqu'à ce que la touche marche/arrêt clignote en rose.

Nettoyage et entretien / Accessoires

Nettoyage et entretien

ATTENTION : Avant tous travaux de nettoyage et d'entretien, débrancher la fiche secteur !

• Remplacez la cartouche filtrante dès que le voyant de remplacement du filtre (page 53) s'allume. La durée de vie moyenne du filtre est égale à 1 an (selon les performances et la puissance d'épuration).

• Nettoyez le boîtier de l'épurateur d'air avec un chiffon non pelucheux, humecté d’eau savonneuse.

• Nettoyez le pré-filtre de la cartouche filtrante avec un aspirateur.

• N'utilisez pas de solvants. Ceux-ci pourraient endommager la surface du boîtier.

• Protégez l'épurateur d'air de l'eau.

• Évitez l'utilisation de produits à base de silicone sous peine de détruire le capteur de la qualité de l'air.

• Évitez de tester l'effet du capteur de la qualité de l'air avec des gaz fortement dosés ou des alcools sous peine de détruire le capteur de la qualité de l'air.

• Nettoyez le revêtement textile avec un aspirateur.

• Si besoin, le revêtement textile peut également être lavé à la main (tenez compte pour cela des consignes d’entretien sur l’étiquette).

Pannes éventuelles

Impossible de mettre l'épurateur d'air en marche.

La touche marche/arrêt de l’épurateur d’air ne fonctionne pas.

Les touches de la télécommande d'air ne fonctionnent pas (IDEAL AP40 Pro uniquement).

Le cordon d'alimentation à l'arrière de l'appareil est-il correctement branché ?

 Assurez-vous que le cordon d'alimentation ne présente aucun dommage.

 Contrôlez les deux extrémités du cordon d'alimentation. Assurez-vous qu'elles sont bien enfichées et que l'alimentation

électrique est bien établie (page 51).

La cartouche filtrante installée est-elle d’origine ? La cartouche filtrante est-elle correctement installée ?

 Assurez-vous qu'une cartouche filtrante originale IDEAL est bien installée.

 Assurez-vous que les 3 ergots de retenue de la cartouche filtrante sont bien

encliquetés et que celle-ci est bien

verrouillée ( symbole cadenas , page 51).

La fonction verrouillage est-elle activée ?

 Désactivez la fonction verrouillage sur la télécommande (IDEAL AP40 Pro uniquement) ou via l’application (fonction

F page 56).

 Débranchez le cordon d'alimentation puis rebranchez-le.

Une pile est-elle insérée dans la télécommande ? Est-elle usagée ?

 Vérifiez la pile (lithium 3V CR2025).

Maniement correct ?

 Orientez la télécommande en direction de l'épurateur d'air (page 54).

 La fonction commande à distance est

verrouillée pendant environ 10 secondes

après le branchement de l’alimentation ou

après un changement de filtre.

Pannes éventuelles

La touche marche/arrêt est faiblement illuminée ou bien éteinte.

Le mode automatique ne fonctionne pas de façon réglementaire.

Les odeurs sont mal filtrées.

L'épurateur d'air est-il en marche ?

 Mettre en marche l’épurateur d’air en actionnant la touche marche/arrêt

(page 52).

La fonction silence est-elle activée ?

 Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche marche/arrêt, l’épurateur d’air repasse en fonctionnement automatique.

 Désactivez la fonction silence en

sélectionnant un autre niveau de

ventilation via l’application ou sur la

télécommande (IDEAL AP40 Pro

uniquement).

L’épurateur d’air étalonne le capteur de la qualité de l’air. Cette opération se produit

à la première mise en marche et après une coupure d’alimentation.

 Attendez la fin de l’opération d’étalonnage

(peut durer plusieurs minutes)

Le capteur de la qualité de l'air ne détecte pas la qualité de l'air de manière fiable

 Réétalonnez le capteur de la qualité de l'air en coupant brièvement l'alimentation !

L’épurateur d’air est-il exposé en permanence à de fortes odeurs ?

 Il est nécessaire de remplacer le filtre

(page 57-58), puisque le filtre à charbon

actif fini par être saturé et ne permet plus

une épuration d’air fiable.

Les odeurs sont -elles bien absorbées ?

 Placez l'épurateur d'air plus près de la source des odeurs.

 Réglez manuellement l'épurateur d'air sur un niveau de ventilation supérieur

(page 52).

Pannes éventuelles

L'épurateur d'air émet beaucoup de bruit.

La cartouche filtrante est-elle fortement encrassée ?

 Nettoyez le pré-filtre avec un aspirateur.

L'épurateur d'air se trouve-t-il sur une surface horizontale ?

 Placez l'appareil sur une surface horizontale.

L'épurateur d'air est-il réglé sur un niveau de ventilation élevé ?
