Normally to heavily soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear, towels, shirts etc. made of cotton and linen. For washing heavily soiled laundry, the “Prewash” option can be selected.
Selecting “Cotton 95”, this programme eleiminates bacteria, ensuring sanitization of your laundry. The bacteria removal efficiency has been tested following a similar methodology to the NF EN 13697 standard of Nov. 2001.

Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with standard IEC/EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.Water and energy consumption refer to the default setting of the programmes; selecting special options or modifying spin speed or temperature will change the consumption data.
The programme duration may differ from the values indicated above as it depends on the operation conditions applicable at that time (see also
“Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use).
* To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.

*** Automatic adaption of programme duration after detection of wash load. For reasons of energy saving, the real water temperature may deviate from the declared cycle temperature.
PREPARATION OF THE WASH CYCLE
1. Load the machine, close the drum doors and check that they are properly locked.
2. Add detergent and eventual additives as described on the front page and in your Instructions for Use.
3. Close the lid.
4. Turn the programme selector to the desired programme and temperature. The lamp next to the
“Start(Pause)” button blinks. If you do not start the programe soon after having made your choice, the washing machine will switch off automatically after about a quarter of an hour. Switch on the washing machine again by turning the programe selector back to „Off/O“ and then to the desired
programe.
SELECT THE DESIRED OPTION(S)
Selecting or deselecting an option can be done at any time during the programme. The option will be applied as long as the corresponding programme phase has not been executed yet.
“Prewash” button
• Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand, granular dirt). Increases the cycle time by approximately 20 min.
“Rapid” button
• Enables quicker washing by shortening the programme duration.
• Recommendable for small loads or only lightly soiled
laundry.
“Spin” button
• Every programme has a predefined spin speed.
• Press the button to set another spin speed.
• If spin speed “0” is selected, the final spinning is cancelled but intermediate spin peaks remain during the rinse. The water is drained out only.
START DELAY
The “Start delay” button allows the user to run the machine at his convenience, for example at night when electricity is cheaper.
• Select programme, spin speed and options.
• Press the “Start Delay” button several times to select a delay time of 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours.
The corresponding indicator lamp lights up.
• Start the programme (see “Progremme Start”).
The indication next to the “Start delay” button lights up and goes off when the programme starts.
• Once having pressed the “Start(Pause)” button, the countdown of the time delay begins. When the programme starts, the start delay indicator light goes off and is replaced by the programme sequence
indication.
• After the “Start(Pause)” button has been pressed, the number of hours preselected can be reduced by pressing again the “Start delay” button.
To cancel the “Start delay”
..before you press the “Start(Pause)” button:
• Turn the programme selector to another position or press the “Reset” button.
..after having pressed the “Start(Pause)” button:
• Press the “Reset” button for at least 3 second. The start delay indicator light goes off.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the “Start(Pause)” button.
The indication lamp next to the “Start(Pause)” button lights up. The programme sequence indicator shows the current programme phase, running from left to right through Wash, Rinse, Spin/Drain. When the programme phrase is finised, the corresponding indication goes out.
• Note: If there is a power interruption or if the appliance is disconnected during the cycle, the programme will run again from the point where it was interrupted.
“DOOR OPEN” INDICATION
Before starting and after end of a programme, the lamp lights to show the the lid can be opened. As long as a wash programme is running, the lid remains locked and must on no account be forced open. In case you have an urgent need to open it during a running programme, refer to “Cancel (Reset) a running programme before the end”.
FAILURE INDICATIONS
In case of any failures or irregularities, consult the
“Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use.
“Service”
Lighting up of the “Service” indication can be caused by a fault in an electrical component. Refer to the
“Troubleshooting Guide” in your “Instructions for Use”; if the fault persists, contact our After Sales Service.
“Water tap closed”
The appliance has no or insufficient water supply. Open the water tap: if the indications still lights up, refer to the
“Troubleshooting Guide” in the Instructions for Use.
“Clean pump”
Waste water is not pumped out. Check whether the drain hose is kinked or the filter must be cleaned: in the latter case refer to the Instructions for Use (“Removing the Filter”).
PROGRAMME END
• The “Door open” indicator lights up. After about a quarter of an hour, the washing machine will switch off completely to save energy.
1. Turn the programme selector to the “Off/O”
position.
2. Close the water tap.
3. Open lid and drum and unload the machine.
4. Leave the lid open for some time to allow the interior of the machine to dry.
CHANGE PROGRAMME AND/OR OPTIONS
AFTER PROGRAMME START
1. Press the “Start(Pause)” button to pause the programme. The light flashes.
2. Select the new programme, any options and another spin speed if you want.
3. Press the “Start(Pause)” button again. The new programme continues at the same position where the previous programme was interrupted. Do not add detergent for this programme.
CANCEL (RESET) A RUNNING PROGRAMME
BEFORE THE END
The “Reset” button cancels a programme before the end. Press the “Reset” button for at least 3 seconds.
Any existing water is drained out before the lid can be opened.
