When FreeGo (Smart Vehicle) are sold, it comes with this user manual (in a CD) for users’ reference.
User's manual is applied to all the Smart vehicles made in our factory. You may find that some function introduced in this manual is never seen in some particular vehicles (other brand) you have ever purchased.
The contents and the technical specifications in this manual are valid when permitted to print. But our company has the right to terminate the use and change technical specifications or design without prior notification and assuming the obligation.

The working principle of the two wheels Scooter is mainly based on the basic principle called "dynamic stability" namely which is the automatic balance ability of vehicle itself. After judging body posture state with a built-in precision solid gyroscope, figuring out proper instructions through a sophisticated and high-speed central microprocessor, scooter will drive the motor to balance the vehicle.
Electric
As a new transporter, it is difficult to use the traditional classification to define this vehicle. Some people think that it should be a kind of double-wheel bicycle (Unicycle), while other people think it should be a power Scooter (Stand-up
Scooter), but it is a uniaxial double design which is different from the traditional biaxial double scooter .In some more formal occasions (for example: the official road regulations), this transporter is called Electric Personal Assistive Mobility
Device (EPAMD), Commonly known as electric Vehicle instead of walking.
The vehicle equipped with dual wheels, its width is shorter than normal adult shoulder's width, 45 kg weight, and battery
-powered motor vehicle. During operation it needs no brake or throttling stem, when driver's body forward, locomotive forward; when the body upright, it stops. It uses dynamic balance principle, as the body moves, to change the center of gravity of movement so as to keep balance. Just as human body stands and forwards, it will lose balance, but the body's natural balance organ will tell the brain such case, then maintain balance under the order that moving steps given by the brain. FreeGo uses the wheels to replace the function of the feet, reproduces the high precision balance action of human,it is also cheap and convenient to move. The energy comes from two repeat charging BTM batteries which are for free maintenance. If sufficient power is supplied to your battery, the full charge capacity will last Continuous 1-1.5 hours driving.
Driving range depends on the way you drive and ground conditions, grassland, and slope will consume more driving power.

Used to control and make the FreeGo turn left or right, turn around, rotate 360 degrees .With support function, to play a subsidiary role in balance.
(2) According to their own height, it can adjust length to make the handle bar on the abdomen.
(3) Lock steering rod after adjustment, then turn the handle bar to confirm that it had been locked well.
(4) Above adjustments of steering rod should be finished before the Smart car start.
(5) Steering can be disconnected, easily carry!
Power switch
(1) The power switch used to turn on and turn off the power and when the power switch open, at the same time Smart car finish initialization-setting .
(2) It is dangerous to stand on the car without turning on the power.
One pedal switch on each side of the pedal position of body.
(2) The pedal switch is a safety insurance, so in the course of driving, if people leave the car, the pedal switch will reset and then stop in 2 seconds.
4. The indicator lights on the pedals

The green LED is on (no blinking): The vehicle is working well. Battery is OK and in standby mode.
Blinking: overload! Motor will automatically slow down.
On (no blinking): battery low power; needs to recharge in time.
On (no blinking): battery power is used up and you need to recharge immediately.
Fast blinking during when driving: Indicate adjustment of body when moving forward at high speed.
Please recharge it before the battery is finished (red led is on). As it will be harmful to the battery and reduce the life of usage.
The vehicle may have problem when you see following situation after powered on.
Red light flash 2 times: problem of accelerometer
Red light flash 3 times: problem of gyroscope
Red light flash 4 times: problem of Pedal switch (SAFE switch is short-circuit or damaged)
After being locked, the red light flashes 4 times to show the vehicle won't start.
(4) Green light, red light and orange light are flashing at the same time: Pedal switch (SAFE switch) has not been slammed on in the place.
In this case, if not being slammed on in the right place in 2 seconds, FreeGo will think driver falls off the car and then stop the vehicle to protect its owner.
Remember that SAFE switch must be firmly slammed on in the right place. Otherwise FreeGo will stop powering and then lose balance.
Start ed
Hold the Steering with one hand, keep the pedal horizontal ,turn on the power switch, make green lamp lighting, then you finish the start(refer to picture 2,3,4),at last firmly hold the handlebar with two hands(refer to picture 5).

Please make sure the pedal is placed horizontally and then switch it on. Because FreeGo will consider the current pedal’s position as its original position setting. This is very important step. If the original position is not set correctly, it will bad for vehicle’s balance during driving.

FreeGo consider current pedal plane position as its original position setting. So if pedal is not placed horizontally , it is difficult to stand on. The original plane position can be adjusted through repeatedly restarted (power off and on again).

To drive a FreeGo (2 wheel self-balance vehicle) is totally different from a traditional car. A FreeGo does not have a brake, accelerator and gear system. If you drive a FreeGo at the first time, you must read the detailed instruction or accept professional training. It is very addictive to driving FreeGo, once you experience the fun of it, you will find you can not leave it and then try to find opportunity to drive again. Following instructions will be very helpful to your driving.

After start, hold the handlebar with left hand. meanwhile step on pedal and pedal switch with right foot; or hold the handlebar with right hand,meanwhile step on pedal and pedal switch with left foot(after press the pedal switch, FreeGo will start computer balance with the feeling of very solid plane) Order is the left hand-right foot-left foot -right hand or right hand -left foot-right foot-left hand, at this point, you have stood on the balanced car. Stand straight without any action, just relax and keep balance, the car can stop in place.

� Forward
As long as the body slowly lean forward (the center of gravity forwards), FreeGo will begin forwarding straight. The leaning angle your body forward control the speed .The more the faster, the less the slower. To smoothly walk straight our advice is that your body leans forward smoothly, don't suddenly tilt, this is the same with sudden acceleration of a car.

� Walk
Driving back is not allowed for the sake of your safety. FreeGo ‘s turning radius is zero, which can easily achieve continuous spin around 360 degrees in place. What we want to say here is to slow down or stop when walk straight forward as long as the body forwards back or squat down (the center of gravity forwards back) and smoothly forwards back is helpful to slow down and stop.

Tips: Driving straight forward is just like the handle is rolled out, which is similar to push forward Shovel grass car .When

� Turn
Turning is very flexible for balanced car.To place the steering rod left-forward or right-forward to the end, and at the same time the body cooperate with the trend of left-forward or right-forward ,thus you can easily achieve various turn.When
turn to the the position you only need to back the steering rod and stand straight ,then car stops.

� Turning
FreeGo's turning range is automatically calculated according to the speed to , with faster speed, the turn range will be less to ensure security .In the process of driving, it is the steering rod and body that corporate to finish turning. To turn left, steering rod should first smoothly swing to the left at the same time body lean to the left ,the size of the turn. to a great degree ,is determined by the swinging angle of steering rod and the leaning angle of body.
Tips: the actual driving is finished by the above combination action. Some people said driving Smart car is like combination of riding horses and skiing, while others said the body movement is like Michael Jackson's dancing. FreeGo also called

� Driving
The common type of FreeGo does not have function of waterproof and driving in rainy day. When water or waded into the water, it is easy to cause the motor and electric equipment damage, make balanced car can't driving normally.
The common type of FreeGo does not have function of driving on the snowfield.
The common type of FreeGo does not have function of night lighting, so no driving without Street lamp.
The regulations in China haven't defined such self-balance car, please don't drive on the road for motor vehicle .When
driving on the sidewalk, single driveway or public places, please comply with local traffic regulations and the provisions of the ministries.
When you find the orange lamp and red lamp light all the time, it shows you need to charge it. First, turn off the power switch and use the specialized 24 V battery charger by putting the plug into the alignment charge mouth, connecting the power source to charge. Lighting Red lamp shows it is in charge. The charger 's charging electric current is 1.2 -1.5 A, charger output voltage is 25-27 V, input voltage is 200-240 V, it needs 8-10 hours to make full charge, we suggest the longest charging time never exceed 15 hours, otherwise, overcharge will have the impact on longevity.
Turn off the power switch when charged, otherwise, FreeGo will cause power consumption, not good for charging.

We use BTM free maintenance battery for the FreeGo. When you find the orange lamp and red lamp light all the time,pls charge in time,remember charge time never exceed 15 hours. There is no need to charge for a long time,excessive discharge and charge have influence on the battery life and even cause the battery scrap.
Please turn off the power switch or lock the switch after turn off the power switch, in case of accidental start.
The maintenance of tire
The normal air pressure is the basic conditions to guarantee the safe driving .The standard tire pressure is 250 kpa = 2.5 bar
= 2.55 kg/cm2 = 36.25 psi, that is what we often say 2.5 kg, regular check of tire pressure is also very necessary. Under inflation and excessive inflation will cause unequally wear of tire, which influences comfort and yardage and shorten the life of tire. Under-inflated tire also influences power saving. So check the tire every day is necessary. Check the tire pressure and check if there is trauma .Whether change the tire if there are impaled foreign bodies or abrasion, it depends.

The pedal and body of the car should keep clean. If there are gravel, soil or other dirt things, clean up immediately without any corrosive chemical such as petrol , twist and dry with soft cloth do not wash with water.

Balanced car accidentally fall into the water, please immediately shut off the power switch, driving it again may expand fault area . Our self- balanced car is about 45 kg weight. In the case of no power you can also easily push it home and waiting for the service guide.
The red warning light on the pedal flash 4 times
When the red warning light on the pedal flash 4 times and pedal switch fault, you can press the switch for several times on condition that you shut off the power, then turn on it again and check if fault never disappear, please contact our servicer.
(2)Make sure if the LOCK switch is locked. Turning on the power switch after locked can also cause red warning lamp flash
4 times.

It shows a fault of sensor, at this time, shut off the power and wait for the maintenance.
Locking switch is to prevent the illegal operation of FreeGo. When lock it after shut off the power ,then open it again, red warning lamp flash 4 times, which shows the FreeGo is locked.
In the condition that power is opened and FreeGo is initialized ,if you lock the LOCK switch, LOCK switch will make the pedal switch short-circuit, FreeGo will think that people have stood on the car and then activate the automatic balance. In this case, we don't suggest driving FreeGo, because the pedal switch has been to keep up, FreeGo will not stop and produce risk.
