These pins will be used as Gain Programming Pins. Programming either 16db or 22db of gain will be accomplished by strapping appropriate pins with bus wire as shown below. Three #6 fiber washers must be inserted between standoff & pcb before being fastened to pcb with 6-32 round head screws. The swage mounting end of the standoff is inserted into the two holes in the L-bracket. The two holes on the TF-1 pcb marked with an asterisk(*) are the standoff mounting holes. -Phono jack Transformer fiber washers 1B top plate — == standof L-bracket Transformer wires are to be cut down to 13" (as measured from the transformer casing) and the braided shield is to be cut back as far as possible to the casing. All trans- former leads are to be soldered onto the foil side of the pcb. Solder a 10K (1%) 4w resistor in series with a 390pf (2%) polystyrene capacitor between output pin of phono jack (gold) and ground trace of each transformer as shown above.
