Connect Speakers
1.
Unwind speaker wires.
2.
Plug one speaker into SPEAKER R and the other into L .

Connect AC Adapter
1.
Plug the AC Adapter’s barrel plug into the
DC IN jack on the back of the clock.
2.
Plug the AC Adapter into a wall outlet.

Setting the Clock
1.
Press and hold TIME on the back of the clock. The time flashes.
2.
Press TUNING + or – on the back of the clock radio to select 12-hour or 24-hour format. When 12-hour is selected, the AM or PM indicator flashes. When 24-hour is selected, the hour setting flashes.
3.
Press PRESET on the top of the radio.
4.
The hour flashes. Press TUNING + or – or VOLUME + or to set the hour, then press PRESET .
5.
The minutes flash. Press TUNING + or – or VOLUME + or - to set minutes, then press PRESET .
6.
The year flashes. Press TUNING + or – to set the year, then press PRESET .
7.
The month flashes. Press TUNING + or – to set the month, then press PRESET .
8.
The day of the month flashes. Press TUNING + or – to select day of the month, then press PRESET .
9.
The day of the week flashes. Press TUNING + or – to select day of the week, then press PRESET .

Note: The clock exits time setting mode if no buttons are pressed for 10 seconds.

Setting the Alarm
1.
Press ALARM on the back of the radio. The last alarm setting flashes.
2.
Press ALARM to select one of the following alarm modes:
Off
7 days alarm
5 days alarm
3.
Press SOURCE to select the alarm source:
Wake to the last iPod track
Wake to the buzzer
Wake to the last used radio station
4.
Press VOLUME – or + to select alarm volume, then press PRESET .
5.
The alarm hour flashes. Press TUNING + or – to adjust hour, then press PRESET .
6.
The alarm minutes flashes. Press TUNING + or – to adjust minutes, then press PRESET .
Alarm mode
The alarm source lights on the display and alarm sounds at the preset time.

Turning Off the Alarm
When the alarm sounds, press ALARM OFF to turn alarm off. The alarm will sound again the next day at the same time.
Using Snooze
When the alarm sounds, press SNOOZE to silence the alarm for 10 minutes. You can continue to use the snooze for up to two hours

Plug your iPod / iPhone into the cradle.
Navigating iPod / iPhone
1.
Press MENU on the remote control to access iPod / iPhone menu.
2.
Press

to navigate up and down menus.
3.
Press SELECT to confirm selection.
Playing Tracks
1.
Press SOURCE to select iPod Mode. The icon displays.
2.
Dock your iPod / iPhone and navigate to the track you want to play.
3.
Press ; on the remote control to play and pause music.
4.
Press F or J on the remote control to skip to previous track or next track.
• Press and hold during playback to search backwards or forwards in the current track.
• Press Repeat to toggle repeating the current track, album, playlist, or turn repeat off.
• Press Shuffle to play tracks in the album in random order in your iPod / iPhone.

Using the FM Radio
1.
Press
1 on the clock radio or remote.
2.
Press SOURCE on the clock radio or FUNC on the remote to select Radio Mode. The icon displays.
3.
Press TUNING + or – on the back of the clock radio or
F or J on the remote control to find a station. Press and hold to auto search stations.
Storing Preset Stations
1.
In Radio Mode, tune to the station you want to store.
2.
Press and hold PRESET . The preset location flashes on the display.
3.
Press TUNING + or – to select the desired preset location.
4.
Press PRESET to save setting.
Recalling Preset Stations
In Radio Mode, press PRESET repeatedly or press
or
on the remote control to find desired preset station.

Using an Auxiliary Source
Connect an audio device using a Ç ” (3.5 mm) phono cable (not included).
1.
Plug one end of the cable into the audio or headphone output of your audio device.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable into the LINE IN jack on the back of the clock radio.
3.
Press
1 on the clock radio or remote.
4.
Press SOURCE on the clock radio or FUNC on the remote to select AUX Mode. The icon displays.
5.
Play your audio device.

Adjust Volume
• Press VOLUME – / + on the clock radio or / on the remote to adjust volume.
• Press on the remote to turn mute sound.
Display Brightness
Press SNOOZE / DIMMER on the clock radio to select one of the three available display brightness levels.
Sleep Mode
1.
Press and hold ALARM on the back of the clock radio.
Sleep time appears on the display.
2.
Press TUNING + or – to select one of the available sleep time (15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins, OFF)

Installing Remote Control Batteries
If you are using the remote control for the first time, open the battery compartment door and pull out the clear plastic tab to enable battery contact.
To replace the battery:
1.
Slide the battery compartment door in the direction of the OPEN arrow, then lift the cover.
2.
Insert the CR2025 button cell battery as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked on the remote control.
3.
Replace the battery cover.

Battery Notes
• Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them. Do not puncture or crush. Do not disassemble.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
• If you do not plan to use the remote control with for a long period of time, remove the battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
• Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.

Handling and Disposal
• Do not use batteries of different types, capacities, or chemistry.
• Do not dispose of lithium batteries in the trash.
• Never allow loose cells to short circuit against battery tabs or other conductive items.
Keep loose cells and battery packs out of reach of children.
• If the electrolyte in the cells should get on your skin, thoroughly wash with soap and water. If in the eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water. Immediately seek medical attention.

Recycle your old rechargeable batteries at one of the many collection sites in the U.S. and
Canada. To find the site nearest you, visit www.call2recycle.org or call toll-free
1-877-2-RECYCLE.

Problem Solution
Sound not clear or no sound Check the phono cable or iPod connection
Sound not clear on the FM Radio Extend the FM Antenna from the back of the clock radio.
No display
Move the antenna to a different location.
Check that AC power is plugged in properly.
Sound is low / too much distortion Press the volume buttons to adjust volume.
Adjust the volume on your audio device.
Alarm does not sound every day Make sure the 7 days alarm is active.
Alarm can not wake to iPod Make sure the iPod is docked on the clock radio correctly before the alarm is turned on.
No memory of preset radio stations or clock
Make sure the AC adapter is plugged in properly.
Memory will be lost after 10 seconds without power.
