FINE Technology
The Canon Full-photolithography
Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) advanced print head technology is one of the keys to the impressive speed and high photo quality in PIXMA photo printers. FINE technology uses a ground-breaking high-performance, multinozzle print engine that ejects consistent and microscopic ink droplets. The results are high-resolution photos with great detail and clarity in less time.
PictBridge – Make the direct connection
Individual Ink Tanks
This intelligent ink-management system uses individual ink tanks for each colour. Simply replace the colour that runs out rather than the entire cartridge, thereby reducing ink waste and saving money.
Duplex Printing
Now you can print double-sided documents and photos easily with the built-in auto duplex unit.
2 Way Feeder
Consists of the Auto Sheet Feeder and the Cassette Feeder to offer advanced media handling for convenience when printing different document types. The two can hold a maximum of 300 sheets of plain paper (150 – Auto sheet feeder + 150 – Cassette feeder).
Cassette Feeder
All printers in this guide support the PictBridge standard, which provides basic direct printing functions and connectivity between any compliant camera or camcorder and printer regardless of the manufacturer.
No computer required.

This technology makes it almost impossible to perceive colour differences between the original and the copy and gives the copy rich gradation.
