The dry contact cable is an input to the G5 iPDU and designed to monitor a change in contact state. This is ideal for setting an alarm or other changes that the user may want to be notified of. These sensors are designed for indoor mounting to a rack or cabinet in a data center or facility.

Easily install by attaching the open wire leads on the dry contact cable to a dry contact sensor. Connect the RJ-45 jack of the dry contact cable to a sensor port on the PDU, or

Sensor Hub. Finally, go to the Web UI of the iPDU to setup specific conditions to monitor and alarm the sensor.
