2 Safety instructions

 Please read these instructions thoroughly before you use the device and keep them for future reference.

 Only for indoor use.

 Do not use the product in a damp environment or near water.

 Do not expose the product to extremely high or low temperatures, strong light sources or direct sunlight.

 This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

 Do not open the product (battery panel is an exception): the device may contain live parts.

Remove the batteries when you are not using the system for a longer period of time. Check the polarity (+/-) of the batteries when inserting them in the product.

3.1 Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™!

It allows you to use 1 cable to connect 4 HDMI sources to your TV, without any loss of signal or encryption. It's ideal when your TV doesn't have enough HDMI inputs, or if you want to connect the devices to your TV using just one cable. Examples of HDMI sources are game consoles such as a PlayStation or Xbox, Blu-ray players, digital TV decoders and all other HDMI devices. The Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ supports Ultra HD

(4k), Full HD (1080p) and all 3D formats, making it suitable for all your existing and future equipment. The digital audio output can be used to transmit the sound from all your connected HDMI devices to your AV amplifier, using a single cable.

All our products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality requirements.

3.3 HDMI properties

 The maximum throughput speed is 18 Gbit/s (gigabits per second). This allows

HDMI 2.0 to display Ultra HD 4K images at 60 fps (frames per second).

 Suitable for the latest Ultra HD 4K60 resolution (3840 x 2160 / 60Hz), High

Dynamic Range (HDR), Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma colours.

 Supports all 3D formats (suitable for use with your own 3D equipment)

 Deep Color 36-bit (billions instead of millions of colours, better reproduction of subtle differences in gradation and a higher contrast ratio).

4 Getting started

4.1 Installation tips

 Turn off all devices (TV and HDMI sources) before connecting them to the

Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™. If a device cannot be turned off, please remove the plug from the socket.

 Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best picture and sound quality. Using too much force to connect or disconnect the HDMI cables may damage them.

 Please be careful when connecting your HDMI cables. These damage easily.

1. Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI sources (such as game consoles, Bluray players and Digital TV Decoders) to the HDMI ports marked "HDMI input".

2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the HDMI port marked "HDMI output". To use the ARC function, your TV should support it. Please refer to your TV's manual to check which HDMI port supports ARC.

3. Connect the AV receiver to the combined digital/analogue output marked

"Audio out".

 Use an optical cable along with the included Toslink adapter for "Digital

Audio". This output supports the audio formats DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital/AC-3 and PCM stereo.

 Use a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack cable for "Analogue audio". This output supports analogue stereo audio formats.

4. Connect the power adapter to the "DC 5V" and insert the plug into the socket.

5. Pull the plastic strip from the remote control's battery compartment to activate the battery and remove the protective film from the top.

5 Use

5.1 Manual or automatic switching

The Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ allows you to choose which HDMI source is displayed on the TV. If you turn on one of the HDMI sources, it will automatically switch to the correct input. If multiple

HDMI sources are turned on, the Connect 6 21 UHD 2.0™ will automatically switch to the HDMI source that was activated last. To activate or deactivate the AUTO feature, press and hold the AUTO button on either the remote control or the front panel, until the corresponding light switches on or off respectively. If you want to manually select another HDMI source, please use the corresponding button on the remote control or the "Input" button at the front.

Note: Automatic switching must be supported by the HDMI source.

If it is not supported, you should manually select the appropriate

HDMI source.

5.2 Audio settings

Select the desired audio settings by using either the remote control or the front buttons of the Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™.

5.2.1 Audio Return Channel

If your AV amplifier is connected via the "Audio out", there may be a slight lag between your TV's image and the sound coming from the AV amplifier. This is caused by image processing on your TV and is sometimes referred to as lip sync problem. The Connect

621 UHD 2.0

™ supports ARC (Audio Return Channel). This involves the sound first being sent to the TV, and then returned by your TV at exactly the right moment, using the same HDMI cable. This allows you, without the use of additional wiring or settings, to synchronise images and sound. The "ARC" switch allows you to enable or disable this feature.

ARC must be supported by your TV to be able to use this feature. If your TV does not support ARC, you can either turn off image processing on your TV, or delay the audio coming from your AV amplifier or HDMI source. Please refer to your device's manual for the correct settings.

5.2.2 Audio formats

Select the AUTO feature in standard situations; should you experience any problems, please manually select a different audio format.

 AUTO, the HDMI equipment automatically detects the best audio format that is supported by your equipment.

7 Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

No (or poor) image and sound

If you experience poor or no picture after connecting the HDMI switcher, please try to identify the problem by connecting the devices to your screen (TV, monitor or projector) one by one. This allows you to determine whether the problem is with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI switcher or the screen.

 Make sure the power adapter is connected and plugged in.

 For the best picture and sound quality, only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables.

 Do not use HDMI cables longer than those specified in the technical data.

 Check the HDMI cables and/or connectors for damage.

 Both the HDMI source and your screen should fully support HDMI.

 Check that your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP 2.2 (High Bandwidth

Digital Content Protection) copy protection.

Incorrect 3D display

 Please check whether the HDMI source is set to display 3D and/or it is set to automatic.

 Both the HDMI source and your HD screen should support the same 3D formats.

 Please check that 3D is displayed correctly by connecting the HDMI source directly to the HD display with an HDMI cable.

Sie können 4 HDMI Quellen mit 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen, ohne jeglichen Signal- oder Verschlüsselungsverlust. Ideal, wenn Ihr Fernseher zu wenig

HDMI Eingänge hat oder wenn Sie die Geräte mit nur 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen möchten. Beispiele von HDMI Quellen sind: Spielcomputer wie

PlayStation und XBox, Blu-Ray-Player, digitaler TV Decoder und alle anderen HDMI

Geräte. Der Connect 621 UHD 2.0

4 Los geht’s

4.1 Bevor Sie beginnen

 Schalten Sie alle Geräte (Fernseher und HDMI Quellen) bevor Sie diese an den

Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ anschließen zunächst aus. Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, falls diese nicht ausgeschaltet werden können.

 Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualität ausschließlich

High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel. Verwenden Sie wenig Kraft, um die HDMI

Kabel anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese könnten sonst beschädigen.

 Lassen Sie während des Anschließens Ihrer HDMI Kabel Vorsicht walten. Diese können schnell beschädigen.

1. Schließen Sie HDMI Quellen (wie Spielcomputer, Blu-Ray Player und digitaler TV

Decoder) mit einem HDMI Kabel an die "HDMI Input“ Anschlüsse an.

2. Verbinden Sie den Fernseher mit einem HDMI Kabel an den HDMI Output

Anschluss an. Wenn Sie ARC nutzen möchten, muss Ihr Fernseher diese

Funktion unterstützen. Ziehen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Fernsehers zurate, um zu sehen, welcher HDMI Anschluss ARC unterstützt.

3. Schließen Sie den AV Empfänger an den kombinierten Digital/Analog Ausgang mit der Aufschrift “Audio out“ an.

 Verwenden Sie für “Digitales Audio“ ein optisches Kabel gemeinsam mit dem enthaltenen Toslink Adapter. Dieser Ausgang unterstützt die Audioformate

DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital/Ac-3 und PCM Stereo.

 Verwenden Sie ein 3.5 mm Stereokabel für “Analoges Audio”. Dieser

Ausgang unterstützt analoge Stereo Audioformate.

4. Schließen Sie den Speisungsadapter an den “DC 5V“ an und verbinden Sie diesen mit der Steckdose.

5. Ziehen Sie den Plastikstreifen aus dem Batteriefach der Fernbedienung, um die

Batterie zu aktivieren und entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie an der Oberseite.

5 Anwendung

5.1 Von Hand oder automatisch schalten

Mit dem Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ wählen Sie, welche HDMI

Quelle auf dem Fernseher wiedergegeben wird. Wenn Sie eine der HDMI Quellen einschalten, wird diese automatisch zum richtigen Eingang schalten. Sind mehrere HDMI Quellen eingeschaltet, so wird der Connect 621 UHD 2.0 ™ automatisch zur letztmals aktiv gewesenen HDMI Quelle schalten. Zum

Aktivieren oder Abschalten der Audio Funktion halten Sie die

AUTO Taste auf der Fernbedienung oder an der Vorderseite fest, bis die dazugehörige Leuchte aufleuchtet beziehungsweise ausgeht. Bei der Auswahl der HDMI Quelle von Hand verwenden

Sie die dazugehörige Taste auf der Fernbedienung oder die

"Ïnput“ Taste an der Vorderseite.

5.1 Audio-Einstellungen

Selektieren Sie mit der Fernbedienung oder über die Tasten an der Vorderseite des

Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ die gewünschten Audio -Einstellungen. .

5.1.1 Audio Return Channel:

Wenn Ihr AV Verstärker über den “Audio out” angeschlossen ist, kann es vorkommen, dass das Bild Ihres Fernsehers in Bezug auf den Ton Ihres AV Verstärkers etwas zurückbleibt. Das wird durch die Bildbearbeitung Ihres Fernsehers verursacht und wird auch Lipsync Problem genannt. Der Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ unterstützt ARC (Audio

Return Channel), wobei der Ton zuerst zu Ihrem Fernseher versendet wird und dann von Ihrem Fernseher genau im richtigen Moment durch dasselbe HDMI Kabel zurückgesendet wird. Somit können Sie Bild und Ton synchronisieren, ohne zusätzliche Kabel oder Einstellungen nutzen zu müssen. Diese Funktion kann mit dem

“ARC“ Schalter ein - oder ausgeschaltet werden.

Um ARC nutzen zu können, muss Ihr Fernseher diese Funktion jedoch unterstützen.

Wenn Ihr Fernseher nicht über ARC verfügt, dann können Sie die Bildbearbeitungen auf Ihrem Fernseher ausschalten, oder das Audiosignal an Ihrem AV Verstärker oder

HDMI Quelle verzögern. Ziehen Sie für die entsprechenden Einstellungen die

Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Geräts hinzu.

5.1.2 Audioformate

Wählen Sie in Standardsituationen die AUTO Funktion. Wählen Sie bei Problemen dann manuell ein anderes Audioformat.

Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton

Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Switch kein, oder ein schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen Sie dann die Geräte Stück für Stück an Ihren Schirm anzuschließen (TV, Monitor oder Projektor), um zu sehen, wo das Problem liegt. Auf diese Art können Sie ermitteln ob es an den HDMI Quellen, den HDMI Kabeln, dem

HDMI Switch oder dem Schirm liegt.

 Überprüfen Sie, ob der Speisungsadaptor angeschlossen ist und sich in der

Steckdose befindet.

 Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualität ausschließlich

High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel.

 Verwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den technischen Daten aufgeführt.

 Überprüfen Sie die HDMI Kabel und/oder Anschlüsse auf Beschädigungen.

 Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr Bildschirm muss HDMI vollständig unterstützen.

Keine korrekte 3D Wiedergabe

 Überprüfen Sie, ob die HDMI Quelle auf 3D Wiedergabe eingestellt und/oder ob diese auf automatisch eingestellt ist.

 Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr HD Bildschirm müssen dieselben 3D Daten unterstützen.

 Überprüfen Sie, ob 3D korrekt wiedergegeben wird, indem Sie die HDMI Quelle mit einem HDMI Kabel direkt an den HD Bildschirm anschließen.

4.1 Conseils d'installation

 Eteignez tous les appareils (téléviseur et sources HDMI) avant de les connecter au Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™. S'il n'est pas possible de les éteindre, débranchez la prise de courant.

 Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed pour obtenir la

1. Connectez la source HDMI (telle que console de jeux, lecteur Blu-ray et

Décodeur TV Numérique) avec un câble HDMI sur les ports HDMI avec l'inscription “HDMI input” (“entrée HDMI”).

2. Connectez le téléviseur avec un câble HDMI sur le port HDMI avec l'inscription

“HDMI output” (“sortie HDMI”). Si vous souhaitez utiliser la fonctionnalité ARC, votre téléviseur doit supporter cette fonctionnalité. Consultez le manuel d'utilisation de votre téléviseur pour savoir quel port HDMI prend en charge la fonctionnalité ARC.

3. Connectez le récepteur AV sur la sortie Numérique/Analogique combinée avec l'inscription “Audio out”.

 Utilisez un câble optique avec l’adaptateur Toslink fourni pour “Audio numérique”. Cette sortie supporte les formats audio DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital/

AC-3 et PCM stéréo.

 Utilisez un câble minijack stéréo de 3.5 mm pour “Audio analogique”. Cette sortie supporte les formats audio stéréo analogiques.

4. Connectez l'adaptateur secteur sur “DC 5V” et branchez la fiche dans la prise de courant.

5. Retirez la languette de plastique du compartiment à pile de la télécommande afin d'activer la pile et enlevez le film protecteur de la partie supérieure.

5 Utilisation

5.1 Connexion manuelle ou automatique

Le Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ vous permet de choisir quelle source HDMI sera affichée sur le téléviseur. Lorsque vous branchez l’une des sources HDMI celle -ci se connectera automatiquement sur l’ entrée correcte. Si plusieurs sources

HDMI sont branchées le Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ se connectera automatiquement sur la dernière source HDMI active. Pour activer ou désactiver la fonction AUTO, maintenez le bouton AUTO enfoncé sur la télécommande ou sur la face avant jusqu’à ce que le voyant correspondant s’allume ou s’éteigne. Si vous souhaitez sélectionner manuellement une autre source HDMI utilisez le bouton correspondant de la télécommande ou le bouton “Input” sur la face avant.

Remarque : la commutation automatique doit être supportée par la source HDMI. Si celleci n’est pas supportée, vous devez sélectionner vous-même la bonne source HDMI.

5.2 Paramétrages audio

Sélectionnez les paramètres audio souhaités en utilisant la télécommande ou par le biais des boutons situés sur le front du Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™.

5.2.1 Audio Return Channel

Lorsque votre amplificateur AV est connecté par le biais de “Audio out” (“Sortie Audio”) il se peut que l'image de votre téléviseur accuse un léger retard sur le son par le biais de l'amplificateur AV. Ceci est provoqué par les traitements d'images sur votre téléviseur que l'on appelle également le problème de synchronisation labiale (Lip sinc).

Le Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ supporte la fonctionnalité ARC (Audio Return Channel) qui envoie d'abord le son vers le téléviseur pour être ensuite renvoyé par votre téléviseur au bon moment par le même câble HDMI. Cela vous permet de synchroniser l'image et le son sans câblage ou réglages supplémentaires. Le commutateur “ARC” vous permet d'activer ou de désactiver cette fonctionnalité.

Pour utiliser la fonctionnalité ARC votre téléviseur doit bien sûr supporter cette fonctionnalité. Si votre téléviseur ne dispose pas de la fonctionnalité ARC vous pouvez désactiver les traitements d'images sur votre téléviseur ou retarder l'audio sur votre amplificateur AV ou sur votre source HDMI. Veuillez consulter le manuel d'utilisation de votre appareil pour les paramétrages corrects.

7 Foire aux questions (FAQ)

Pas d'image (ou image de mauvaise qualité) ni de son

Si après avoir connecté le commutateur HDMI vous n'avez pas d'image ou l'image est de mauvaise qualité, essayez de trouver la cause du problème en connectant les appareils l'un après l'autre à votre écran (téléviseur, moniteur ou projecteur). Vous pourrez ainsi déterminer si le problème provient des sources HDMI, des câbles HDMI, du commutateur HDMI ou de l'écran.

 Assurez-vous que l'adaptateur secteur soit connecté et branché dans la prise de courant.

 Utilisez uniquement des câbles certifiés HDMI® High Speed pour obtenir la meilleure qualité d'image et de son.

 N'utilisez pas de câbles HDMI qui soient plus longs que ce qui est spécifié dans les caractéristiques techniques.

 Assurez-vous que les câbles HDMI et/ou connecteurs ne soient pas endommagés.

 La source HDMI ainsi que l'écran doivent supporter pleinement le HDMI.

 Assurez-vous que vos sources HDMI et votre écran supportent la protection contre la copie HDCP 2.2 (Highbandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Pas d'affichage 3D correct

 Assurez-vous que la source HDMI soit paramétrée pour restituer les images 3D et/ou qu'elle soit en mode automatique.

 Votre source HDMI ainsi que votre écran HD doivent supporter les mêmes formats 3D.

 Assurez-vous que l'image 3D soit restituée correctement en connectant la source

Conectar hasta 4 fuentes HDMI con el televisor usando solo un cable. Sin pérdida de calidad o de encriptación. La solución perfecta cuando el televisor dispone de pocas entradas HDMI o para conectar varios dispositivos con el televisor usando solo un cable. Fuentes HDMI son entre otros: videoconsolas como Playstation y Xbox, reproductores Blu-Ray, decodificadores digitales de TV y todos los demás dispositivos

HDMI. El Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ es comp atible con Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) y cada formato de 3D y es apto para cada dispositivo actual y futuro. La salida de audio digital sirve para transmitir el sonido de los dispositivos HDMI conectados a través de un solo cable al amplificador del equipo A/V.

4.1 Consejos para la instalación

 Aapaga todos los dispositivos (TV y fuentes HDMI) antes de conectarlos con el

Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™. Si no se pueden apagar, desenchufa el cable de la toma de corriente.

 Usa exclusivamente cables certificados para High Speed HDMI® para recibir una calidad superior de imagen y sondido. Conecta y desconecta los cables HDMI con mucho cuidado para no dañarlos.

 Tenga cuidado con la conexión de los cables HDMI, se estropean fácilmente.

1. Conecta las fuentes HDMI (como videoconsola, reproductor Blu-Ray o decodificador digital de TV) con los puertos HDMI indicados como “HDMI input” usando un cable HDMI.

2. Conecta el TV con el puerto HDMI indicado como “HDMI output” usando un cable

HDMI. Si quiere emplear la función de ARC es necesario que el televisor soporte esta función. Ve el modo de empleo del televisor para informarse cual de los puertos HDMI es apto para el ARC.

3. Conecta el receptor A/V con la salida combinada digital/analógica, indicada como

“Audio out”.

 Emplea un cable óptico en combinación con el adaptador Toslink suministrado para “Audio digital”. Esta salida es compatible con los formatos de audio DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital/ AC-3 y PCM estéreo.

 Emplea un cable estéreo minijack de 3,5 mm para “Audio analógico”. Esta salida es compatible con formatos de audio estéreo analógicos.

4. Conecta el adaptador de alimentación con el “DC 5V” y enchúfelo.

5. Quita la cinta de plástico del compartimento de la pila del mando a distancia para activar la pila. A continuación quita la cinta protectora de la cara superior.

5 Empleo

5.1 Cambiar fuentes manual o automáticamente

El Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ le ofrece la posibilidad de elegir la fuente HDMI cuyo contenido quiere reproducir. Cuando se enciende una de las fuentes, el dispositivo cambia automáticamente a la entrada correspondiente. Cuando están encendidas varias fuentes a la vez, el Connect 621

UHD 2.0™ cambia automáticamente a la fuente HDMI que fue activada más recientemente. Para activar o desactivar la función AUTO, pulsa el botón “AUTO” en el mando o en la cara delantera del Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ hasta que se enciende o apaga la lámpara de indicación. Si quiere elegir otra fuente HDMI manualmente, pulsa el referente botón en el mando o el botón “INPUT” en la cara delantera del

Connect 621 UHD 2.0™.

Nota: es necesario que la fuente HDMI soporte la conmutación automática. Si no es el caso, tiene que seleccionar la fuente HDMI manualmente.

5.2 Ajustes de audio

Selecciona los ajustes de audio con el mando a distancia o con los botones en la cara delantera del Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™.

5.2.1 Audio Return Channel:

Cuando el amplificador A/V está co nectado con la salida “Audio out”, es posible que la imagen del TV se reproduzca un poco más tarde que el sónido del amplificador A/V.

Este efecto se debe a la adaptación de la imagen del televisor y se llama el problema de Lipsync (sincronización de labios). El Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ es apto para el ARC

(Audio Return Channel). Con esta funcion el sonido se transmite al televisor y luego el televisor devuelve el sonido en el momento adecuado a traves del mismo cable HDMI.

De esta manera se sincronizan la imagen y el sonido sin necesidad de cables o ajustes adicionales. La función se enciende y se apaga usando el conmutador “ARC”.

Es necesario que el televisor soporte el ARC. Si el TV no dispone de ARC es posible apagar la adaptación de la imagen en el televisor o retardar el audio en el amplificador

A/V o en la fuente HDMI. Para los ajustes ve el modo de empleo del dispositivo en cuestión.

5.2.2 Formatos de audio:

En situaciones estándares selecciona la función AUTO, si surgen problemas, selecciona manualmente otro formato de audio.

 AUTO, el dispositivo HDMI detecta automáticamente el formato de audio más adecuado que es compatible con el equipo.

 7.1CH, soporta todos los formatos HD (solo a través de la salida HDMI).

 5.1CH, compatible con DTS y Dolby Digital audio

 2.0CH, compatible con audio de 2-canales.

7 Preguntas frecuentes (FAQs)

No hay imagen y sonido o son de calidad inferior

Cuando no hay imagen después de haber conectado el Conmutador HDMI o cuando la imagen es de calidad inferior, intenta encontrar la causa conectando cada dispositivo individualmente con la pantalla (TV, monitor o proyectór). De esta manera se detecta si el problema es causado por las fuentes HDMI, los cables HDMI, el conmutador HDMI o la pantalla.

 Controla si el adaptador de alimentación está enchufado.

 Emplea exclusivamente cables certificados de High Speed HDMI® para una calidad superior de imagen y sonido.

 No emplea cables HDMI más largos que indicado en las especificaciones de los datos técnicos.

 Controla si ninguno de los cables y/o conectores está dañado.

 Es necesario que tanto la fuente HDMI como las pantallas son compatibles con el

HDMI.

 Controla si las fuentes HDMI y las pantallas son copatibles con la seguridad contra la copia de contenidos HDCP 2.2 (Highbandwidth Digital Content

Protection).

El 3D no se reproduce correctamente

 Controla si la fuente HDMI está puesto en modo de reproducir el 3D y/o si está puesto en modo automático.

 Tanto la fuente HDMI como la pantalla HD tienen que ser compatibles con los mismos formatos de 3D.

 Controla si la fuente HDMI reproduce el 3D correctamente. Por este objetivo, conéctala con la pantalla a traves de un cable HDMI.

E’ possibile collegare 4 sorgenti HDMI tramite 1 cavo al televisore, senza perdita di segnale o crittografia. Ideale se il televisore non dispone di abbastanza ingressi HDMI o per collegare le apparecchiature con un solo cavo al televisore. Esempi di sorgenti

HDMI: console videogiochi come Playstation e Xbox, lettore Blu-ray, decoder TV digitale e tutte le altre apparechiature HDMI. Il Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ supporta Ultra

HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) e tutti i formati 3D ed è adatto a tutte le apparecchiature esistenti e future. Si può usare l’uscita audio digitale per collegare il suono di tutte le apparecchiature HDMI collegate con un solo cavo all’amplificatore AV.

4.1 Consigli per l’installazione

 Prima spegnere tutte le apparecchiature (TV e sorgenti HDMI) e poi collegarle al

Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™. Quando non è possibile spegnerle, rimuovere la spina dalla presa.

 Utilizzare solo i cavi omologati High Speed HDMI® per la migliore qualità audio e

 Fare attenzione quando si collegano i cavi HDMI. Questi possono essere facilmente danneggiati. video. Utilizzare poca forza per collegare o scollegare i cavi HDMI di modo che non saranno danneggiati.

1. Collegare le sorgenti HDMI (come console videogiochi, lettore Blu-ray e Decoder

TV Decoder) alle porte HDMI con il testo “HDMI input”, tramite un cavo HDMI.

2. Collegare il televisore ad una porta HDMI con il testo “HDMI output”, tramite un cavo HDMI. Per utilizzare la funzionalità ARC, il televisore deve supportarla.

Vedere le istruzioni per l’uso del televisore quale porta HDMI supporta ARC.

3. Collegare il ricevitore AV all'uscita Digitale/Analogico combinato indicato con

“Audio out”.

 Utilizzare un cavo ottico con l’adattatore Toslink in dotazione per “Audio digitale”. Quest’uscita supporta i formati audio analogici DTS 5.1, Dolby

Digital/ AC-3 e PCM stereo.

 Utilizzare un cavo minijack stereo da 3.5 mm per “Audio analogico”.

Quest’uscita supporta i formati audio stereo analogici.

4. Collegar e l’adattatore di alimentazione al “DC 5V” ed inserire la spina nella presa.

5. Tirare la striscia di plastica dal vano batterie del telecomando per attivare la batteria e togliere la pellicola protettiva dalla parte superiore.

5 Uso

5.1 Commutare in modo manuale o automatico

Selezionare con il Connect 621 UHD 2.0™ quale sorgente

HDMI è visualizzata sul televisore. Quando si accende una delle sorgenti HDMI bronnen, questa commuterà automaticamente all’apposito ingresso. Se sono state accese più sorgenti HDMI, il C onnect 621 UHD 2.0™ passerà automaticamente alla sorgente HDMI attivata per ultimo. Per attivare o disattivare la funzione AUTO, tener premuto il tasto AUTO sul telecomando o sul pannello frontale finché la spia corrispondente si accenderà rispettivamente si spegnerà. Se si seleziona manualmente un’altra sorgente HDMI, si deve utilizzare il tasto corrispondente sul telecomando o il tasto

“Input” sul pannello frontale.

Nota: la commutazione automatica deve essere supportata dalla sorgente HDMI. Se non è supportata questa modalità, si deve selezionare manualmente la corretta sorgente HDMI.

5.2 Impostazioni audio

Selezionare le impostazioni audio desiderate utilizzando il telecomando o tramite i tasti sul davanti del Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™.

5.2.1 Audio Return Channel (canale di ritorno audio)

Se l’amplificatore AV è stato collegato tramite la connessione “Audio out” può essere che l’immagine del televisore è un po’ in ritardo rispetto al suono dell’amplificatore AV.

Questo è causato dall’elaborazione delle immagini sul te levisore ed è chiamato il problema Lipsync. Il Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ supporta ARC (canale di ritorno audio): prima il suono viene inviato al televisore e poi è rinviato, al momento idoneo, dal televisore attraverso lo stesso cavo HDMI. In tal modo è possibile di sincronizzare l’immagine e il suono, senza l’uso di cavi o impostazioni aggiuntivi. Si può attivare o disattivare questa funzionalità tramite l’interruttore “ARC”.

Per usare la funzionalità ARC questa deve essere supportata dal televisore. Se il te levisore non dispone dell’ARC è possibile disattivare sul televisore le elaborazioni dell’immagine, ritardare l’audio sull’amplificatore AV o sulla sorgente HDMI. Consultare le istruzioni per l’uso delle relative apparecchiature per le impostazioni corrett e.

5.2.2 Formati audio

Nelle situazioni tipo selezionare la modalità AUTO, quando ci sono problemi si deve selezionare manualmente un formato audio diverso.

 AUTO, le apparecchiature HDMI individuano automaticamente il migliore formato audio supportato dalle relative apparecchiature.

7 Domande frequenti (FAQ)

Mancano l'immagine ed il suono o sono di cattiva qualità

Nel caso che dopo il collegamento del commutatore HDMI manchi l'immagine o sia di cattiva qualità, cercare di risolvere il problema collegando uno per uno le apparecchiature allo schermo (televisore, monitor o proiettore). In tal modo è possibile determinare se il problema si trova nelle sorgenti HDMI, nei cavi HDMI, nel commutatore HDMI o nello schermo.

 Controllare se l’adattatore di alimentazione è stato collegato ed inserito nella presa di corrente..

 Per la migliore qualità di immagini e suono usare solo cavi omologati High Speed

HDMI®.

 Non usare cavi HDMI più lunghi di quanto indicato nei dati tecnici .

 Controllare se i cavi e/o connettori HDMI non sono stati danneggiati.

 Sia la sorgente HDMI che lo schermo devono supportare interamente HDMI.

 Controllare se le sorgenti HDMI e lo schermo supportano la protezione anticopia

HDCP 2.2 (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Manca la corretta riproduzione 3D

 Controllare se è stata impostata la sorgente HDMI corretta per riprodurre 3D e/o se essa è stata impostata nella modalità automatica.

 Sia la sorgente HDMI che lo schermo HD devono supportare gli stessi formati 3D.

 Controllare se è corretta la riproduzione 3D collegando la sorgente HDMI direttamente allo schermo HD con un cavo HDMI.

3.1 Introductie

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van de Marmitek Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™!

U kunt 4 HDMI bronnen met 1 kabel aansluiten op uw tv, zonder enig signaal of encryptieverlies. Ideaal wanneer uw tv te weinig HDMI ingangen heeft of wanneer u de apparaten met maar 1 kabel naar uw tv wilt aansluiten. Voorbeelden van

HDMI bronnen zijn; spelcomputers zoals Playstation en Xbox, Blu-ray speler, digitale tv decoder en alle overige HDMI apparaten. De Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ ondersteunt Ultra HD (4k), Full HD (1080p) en alle 3D formaten en is daarmee geschikt voor al uw bestaande en toekomstige apparatuur. De digitale audio uitgang kunt u gebruiken om het geluid van al uw aangesloten HDMI apparatuur met maar 1 kabel op uw AV receiver aan te sluiten.

4 Aan de slag

4.1 Tips voor installatie

 Schakel alle apparatuur (tv en HDMI bronnen) eerst uit voordat u deze aansluit op de Connect 621 UHD 2.0™. Indien deze niet uitgeschakeld kan worden verwijder dan de stekker uit het stopcontact.

 Gebruik uitsluitend High Speed HDMI® gecertificeerde kabels voor de beste beeld- en geluidskwaliteit.

 Wees voorzichtig tijdens het aansluiten van uw HDMI kabels. Deze kunnen makkelijk beschadigd raken.

1. Sluit de HDMI bronnen (zoals spelcomputer, Blu-ray speler of digitale tv decoder) a an op de HDMI poorten waarbij “Input” staat met een HDMI kabel.

2. Sluit de tv aan op de HDMI poort waarbij staat “ O utput” met een HDMI kabel.

Wanneer u de ARC functie wilt gebruiken moet uw tv dat ondersteunen. Kijk in de gebruiksaanwijzing van uw tv welke HDMI poort ARC ondersteunt.

3. Sluit de AV receiver aan op de gecombineerde Digitaal/ Analoog uitgang waarbij staat “ Audio out ”.

 Gebruik een optische kabel samen met de meegeleverde Toslink adapter voor “Digital e audio ” . Deze uitgang ondersteunt de audio formaten DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital/ AC-3 en PCM stereo.

 Gebruik een 3.5 mm minijack stereo kabel voor “Analoge audio ” . Deze uitgang ondersteunt analoge stereo audio formaten.

4. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de “DC 5V” en steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

5. Trek de plastic strip uit het batterijvakje van de afstandsbediening om de batterij actief te maken en verwijder de beschermfolie van de bovenkant.

5 Gebruik

5.1 Schakel handmatig of automatisch

Met de Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ kiest u welke HDMI bron op de tv wordt weergegeven. Wanneer u één van de HDMI bronnen aanzet zal deze automatisch naar de juiste ingang schakelen.

Indien meerdere HDMI bronnen zijn aangezet zal de Connect

621 UHD 2.0

™ automatisch naar de laatst actief geworden

HDMI bron schakelen. Om de AUTO functie te activeren of te deactiveren, houdt u de AUTO knop op de afstandsbediening of op de voorzijde ingedrukt totdat het bijbehorende lampje respectievelijk gaat branden of uitgaat. Indien u handmatig een andere HDMI bron wilt selecteren gebruikt u de bijbehorende knop op de afstandsbediening of de “Input” knop op de voorzijde.

Opmerking: automatisch schakelen moet ondersteund worden door de HDMI bron. Indien dit niet ondersteund wordt moet u zelf de juiste HDMI bron selecteren.

5.2 Audio instellingen

Selecteer de gewenste audio instellingen door gebruik te maken van de afstandsbediening of via de knoppen op de voorzijde van de Connect 621 UHD

5.2.1 Audio Return Channel

Wanneer uw AV receiver is aangesloten via de “Audio out” kan het voorkomen dat het beeld van uw tv iets achterloopt op het geluid via de AV receiver. Dit wordt veroorzaakt door beeldbewerkingen op uw tv en wordt ook wel het Lipsync probleem genoemd. De Connect 621 UHD 2.0

™ ondersteunt ARC (Audio Return

Channel) waarbij het geluid eerst naar de tv wordt gestuurd en vervolgens door uw tv op precies het juiste moment wordt teruggestuurd door dezelfde HDMI kabel.

Hiermee kunt u, zonder gebruik te maken van extra bekabeling of instellingen, het beeld en geluid synchroniseren. Met de schakelaar “ARC” kunt u deze functie in - of uitschakelen.

7 Veel gestelde vragen (FAQs)

Geen (of slecht) beeld en geluid

Indien u slecht of geen beeld ervaart na het aansluiten van de HDMI switcher, probeer dan het probleem te achterhalen door de apparaten één voor één aan te sluiten op uw tv of projector. Op deze manier kunt u bepalen of het probleem zich bevindt in de HDMI bronnen, de HDMI kabels, de HDMI switcher of de tv.

 Controleer of de voedingsadapter is aangesloten en in het stopcontact zit.

 Gebruik uitsluitend High Speed HDMI® gecertificeerde kabels voor de beste beeld- en geluidskwaliteit.

 Gebruik geen HDMI kabels die langer zijn dan gespecificeerd in de technische gegevens

 Controleer of de HDMI kabels en/ of connectoren niet beschadigd zijn

 Zowel de HDMI bron als uw tv of projector dient HDMI volledig te ondersteunen

 Controleer of uw HDMI bronnen en tv of projector de kopieerbeveiliging

HDCP 2.2 (High bandwidth Digital Content Protection) ondersteunen.

Geen correcte 3D weergave

 Controleer of de HDMI bron is ingesteld om 3D weer te geven en/ of dat deze op automatisch staat.

 Zowel de HDMI bron als uw HDTV of projector moet dezelfde 3D formaten ondersteunen.

 Controleer of 3D correct wordt weergegeven door de HDMI bron direct op uw

HDTV of projector aan te sluiten met een HDMI kabel.
