Installation Instructions
Model: Polaris General
Description: Stage 2 Install

Assembly Time: 60 Min (1-Hour)
Before you begin, read through these instructions and check that all parts are present. Always disconnect negative battery terminal prior to installation. Please note that MB Quart cannot assume any responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation.

● Remove hood by turning two latches
Dash Disassembly
● Remove seven push clips from front of dash

● Remove top two push pins from driver and passenger door opening
Dash Disassembly
● Lift front of dash at eight locations with Bojo tool

● Remove if your machine has upper pocket
Dash Disassembly
● Remove lower switch locations
(If your vehicle has switches installed note connections and disconnect)
● Disconnect wires from back of 12 volt accessory port

● Place Stage 2 harness behind the dash and extend the left and right speaker harnesses to appropriate kick area and then pass the power harness with the fuse holder through the grommet toward the front of the vehicle
Harness Installation
● If vehicle is equipped with a buss bar, connect the ring terminal to the ACC wire, and connect +12v,
GND and ACC to appropriate terminals (If you have a Pulse system skip ahead)
● If vehicle is equipped with the
Pulse System, connect the Delphi connector to the ACC wire and connect +12v, GND to the studs and ACC to an open Pulse output

Front Speaker Pod Install
● Connect speaker wires and then hold passenger side pod up high to the dash till it slides into place. and using 11/32” drill bit, drill the four holes and secure with four push pins
● Repeat on the driver side and drill the five lower holes with 11/32” drill bit and secure with five push pins

● Install two double threaded bolts in back of radio with 7mm wrench
Radio Install
● Place radio and dash kit from the front side of the dash
● Position rear bracket and loosely install the two nuts on back of radio
Loosely install four High-Low threadforming screws with a T25
Torx
Position radio in opening moving left and right and up, and down, once happy, tighten the nuts on the back of the radio with a 7mm wrench and T25 Torx on the bracket

● On lower switch panel, remove one of the two hole plugs beside the 12-volt accessory port
Radio Install
● Install the USB / AUX port in this hole (PASP-18)

● Connect the radio harness to the power harness
Reassembly
● Turn vehicle on and do a preliminary test of the audio to see if all speakers are preforming
( If testing is good continue assembly)
● Connect switches, 12-volt accessory port, and connect
USB / AUX port to radio then snap center section to dash

● Install top of dash, snapping eight push clips on front of dash

● Install six push pins on front of dash

Components that prove to be defective in materials and workmanship under proper installation and use must be returned to the original authorized Maxxsonics USA Inc. retailer from where it was purchased.
A photocopy of the original receipt must accompany the product being returned. The costs associated with removal, re-installation and freight are not the responsibility of Maxxsonics USA Inc.
