Chapter 5.
Notes of Video Redirection function
UAC (User Account Control) or UAP (User Account Protection) is set to "Disable" since Windows
Vista or Windows Server 2008 OS of PC for the MMB connection. Or, Web a browser is started from "Run as administrator".
The Proxy passing the network of the connection destination, Video Redirection and Virtual
Media might not be able to be connected. In that case, it changes to the setting not made the
Proxy passing by setting Web a browser. Moreover, when it is not possible to connect it, it changes still to the setting that uses the connection directly by setting the network of Java.
Virtual Media cannot be used from the same user terminal for two or more partitions.
Virtual Media is used with a browser executed by the administrator authority.
111
Chapter 6.
Troubleshooting
The case and the action of the trouble concerning Video Redirection are described.
(The following are described as an example of Oracle Java version Java7/Java8, browser version Internet
Explorer11, and OS version Windows10.)
Item Case and action of trouble
1 Case It is not possible to connect it with Video Redirection. * Setting of Web a browser
Action It is likely to be able to connect it by executing the clearness of registration or cash to the
Trusted Site in Web a browser.
・ Registration to the Trusted site
1. "Trusted sites" is checked from "Security" tab of "Internet Options" and "Sites" button is clicked.
2. The site is described in "Trusted sites" window and "Add" button is clicked.
112
・ Clearness of cash

2. The check is put in "Temporary Internet files and website files" of "Delete Browsing
History" window and "Deletion" button is clicked.
113
2 Case It is not possible to connect it with Video Redirection. * Setting of Web a browser
Action It is not likely to be able to connect it with Video Redirection because the setting of
TLS1.0/TLS1.1/TLS1.2 of Web a browser is not effective when connecting it with Video
Redirection by using the https connection by Web a browser.
114
The confirm method is the following.
1. 1."Tool"-"Internet option" - of Web a browser "Advanced" tab is opened.
2. The check box of "TLS 1.0 is used"/"Use of TLS 1.1"/"Use of TLS 1.2" of security is confirmed.
115
3. When there is no check, the check is put, and it clicks in order of "Apply" and "OK".
3 Case It is not possible to connect it with Video Redirection. * Setting of Oracle Java
Action It is likely to be able to connect it by clearing the cash of Java.

2) The version Java in the client PC installing Windows OS or Linux OS
Use of Oracle Java 8 update 131 or later, or
Zulu 8 or AdoptOpenJDK 8
170
2. Cause
The following revisions were done from Java 8 update131.
A new limitation to the validation methodology of the JAR file signed with MD5 introduces it.
The signature is disregarded in the signature verification operation when the JAR file with the signature uses MD5, and JAR is treated assuming that not signed.
When Video Redirection is executed from Web-UI of MMB, the delivered JAR file is signed from BMC with MD5withRSA.
Therefore, the signature is disregarded in the terminal that applies since Java 8 update131, and it fails in execution.
3. Corrective action
