Data Host with Dual-PHY-Port
RAID Controller
Install the RAID controller and connect the ETERNUS JX40.
Enter
CTRL+H
during boot to start the WebBIOS Configuration.*
Create physical arrays and logical drives meeting your requirements.*
On the host, install the appropriate driver for the RAID controller.**
On the host, install the ServerView RAID Manager Software.
Start the ServerView RAID Manager via Start/Programs/...
Install a certificate.
From a system in the network, start a browser, connect to the host with https:// <name_or_ip> :3173 and log in as administrator with your password for the host.
Create/change logical drives, volumes etc. meeting your requirements.
Test the connectivity.
