IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to ensure your personal safety.

However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.

Water and Moisture

The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a set basement.

Ventilation

The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, ruq or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.

The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances

(including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Power Source

The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.

Power Cord Protection

Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them. It is always best to have a clear area from where the cord exits the unit to where it is plugged into an AC outlet.

Cleaning

The unit should be cleaned only as recommended. See the section "Care and Maintenance" of this manual for cleaning instructions.

Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any openings or vents located on the product,

Unplug the unit from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.

Damage Requiring Service

This unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when;

A. The power supply cord or plug has been damaged.

B. Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.

C. The unit has been exposed to rain.

D. The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged,

E. The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.

Periods of Nonuse

If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power cord should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage or corrosion.

Servicing

The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods described in the user's operating instructions.

Service methods not covered in the operating instructions should be referred to qualified service personnel.

The main base is operated by AC power

Power installation: Insert the AC adaptor plug into DC Jack at the rear side of base.

2. Power of Individual Speaker

Each speaker has 1 built-in rechargeable lithium battery for independent playback. Before the first use, we recommend to charge each speaker for 4 hours. When speaker is placed on the powered base (Power

ON/OFF switch turn on), charging will start automatically. The charging LED indicator is in red color during charging, and will turn green afterwards.

3. Power of Remote Control

To use the remote control, please ensure the remote control battery CR2025 (included) is installed properly and take the insulation clarity paper out.(Once you stop to use the remote control, pis. Insert in it same as before). Replace the remote control battery when it stops working. It is highly recommended to use a good quality button cell.

Note: Room lighting and battery life can affect the operating range of remote control.

GENERAL OPERATION

1. Select a proper docking adaptor (enclosed when purchase an iPod) and place it into the base, then dock your iPod gently.

2. Plug the AC adaptor plug into DC power Jack at the rear side of base/ the unit will play automatically and the speaker also open automatically. Or use the remote control to turn the unit on.

3. Switch on the speakers to play your iPod.

Choose the best channel through the “Channel” button at the rear of the base until the speakers receive the right signal.

4. Press " VOL +"or “VOL-" to choose a proper volume level, then you should now be able to take the speakers freely from room to room without disruption (Subject to its surroundings, approximately 100 feet in the open area without any interference).

5. If using iPod shuffle or other audio source with 3.5 mm headphone output jack, connect it to the AUX line in jack on the rear of base.(AUX in will not work when an iPod is docked)

6. Press the power button on the base or remote control to turn off the unit.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTION

1. Turn ON/ OFF the unit or speaker

Connect the iPod to the base, the unit will play automatically. Once you take the iPod out, the unit will be Aux-in status.

2. The unit LED indicator (8) instruction.

Once the LED indicator is red, it’s Aux-in working. Once the LED indicator is red, it’s iPod working.

3. The speaker LED indicator (2) instruction

1) When charge up, and the volume bottoms are closed, the LED indicator is red. Once full charge, it turn to blue.

2) When charge up, and the volume bottoms are working, the LED indicator is pink and coruscate automatically with a normal frequency. Once full charge, it turn to blue and without coruscate.

3) When the speaker separate from the units (it’s un-charge station), and the volume bottoms are working, the LED indicator should be dark blue. However, if the volume bottoms are closed, the LED indicator will stop to work. It’s means no power.

4) Can charge up for only speaker, also charge up for both speakers meantime. The LED indicator may not all same.

4. How to separate the unit and speaker?

Shift the Lock knob (12) to next side, then press Open Button (4), the speaker will separate from unit.

VIDEO OUT FROM THE iPod/iPhone

1. You can connect this unit to a television or other video display that has a composite video input.

2. Securely dock your iPhone or iPod with video.

3. Connect one end of an RCA cable (not included) to rear RCA video jack on the unit.

4. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to VIDEO IN of television or video display.

5. Select a movie from your iPod/iPhone menu.

6. iPod: On the main menu choose video then select video setting.

7. iPod: Make sure the TV Out section is set to "ON".

8. iPod: Switch back to the movie library and play the movie of your choice

Note: V ideo out will automatic when us ing an iP od touch or iPhone

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Should you experience difficulties in the use of this player, please refer to the following chart.

Symptom

The base does not switch on ( no power )

Possible problem

AC adaptor is not plugged into a wall outlet or the connector is not plugged into the DC jack on the back of the unit.

Wall outlet is not functioning.

Solution

Plug the AC adaptor into a wall outlet and plug the connector into the DC jack on the unit. iPod does not respond to the speaker system iPod does not charge up

Using no/wrong iPod cradle. iPod is not installed properly.

Your iPod is locked up. iPod is not installed properly. iPod battery has problem.

Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm the outlet is working.

Make sure the dock cradle is the proper fit for your iPod.

Remove your iPod from the dock and check for any obstruction on the connectors in the docking and on your iPod. Then reseat it in the dock.

Please make sure that your iPod is working properly before docking into the unit.

Speakers do not play the sound from docked device

Speakers receive signal from other devices, or the other set of MW-1025

Slide the channel switch to select another channel. Place the unit to a location where receive lesser external signal.

Sound is cut off or noisy

Sound is distorted

The unit experiences interference

Move the channel switch from one channel to the other channel (3 for selection) at the rear of base for the best reception. Do not turn on other wireless devices simultaneously.

Sound source is distorted.

If the source is iPod, try to check the sound at personal computer before putting into the iPod. If you are using an external sound source like digital audio player, try reducing the output volume on the device itself. Also try turning bass boost OFF or change the

EQ setting.

Volume level is set too high. Decrease the volume.
