Portable Music Receiver

We hope you enjoy your Bluetooth Portable Music Receiver from RadioShack. This receiver allows you to wirelessly connect Bluetooth devices to non-Bluetooth speakers, so that you can play and listen to your favourite music wirelessly.

Charge

Connect to a USB power source to charge

You can charge the receiver when it is idle or in use.

1.

Use the USB charging cable to connect the receiver to a

USB power source. While charging the receiver, the red

LED lights, and turns off when charging is complete.

A full charge takes about 2 hours, and provides up to 5 hours play time.

After charging, unplug the charging cable. Do not attempt to overcharge.

Note:

• If the receiver's red LED flashes every 8 seconds, the receiver battery is weak. Follow steps 1-2 to charge the receiver.

• Use only the supplied cable, or one with the same specification to charge. Use of any other cables may damage the receiver.

Set up the Receiver

1.

Connect the 1/8" (3.5 mm) stereo output jack to the audio input port on your stereo system. Refer to your stereo system's user manual for the location of the audio input port.

To turn on the receiver, press and hold the receiver button for 3 seconds until the blue LED flashes 3 times.

The LEDs on the receiver then flashes red and blue rapidly as the receiver searches for Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Pairing

1.

Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device.

2.

Locate the Bluetooth devices list, and select

" RadioShack 1201784 " from the list.

3.

Once paired successfully, the LED lights blue every 8 seconds.

4.

To turn off the receiver, press the receiver button until the red LED flashes 3 times.

Note:

• The receiver automatically pairs with the previously paired device when the Bluetooth function of the device and the receiver are both turned on.

• The receiver can pair and memorize 8 paired devices. If you wish to pair with more than 8 devices, the least used device is deleted from the memory and replaced.

• If your device is out of connection range and disconnects, move back within 10 minutes to reconnect automatically.

Changing Bluetooth Devices

To pair a new device, you must disconnect your device's

Bluetooth connection with the receiver first. The LEDs on the receiver then flashes blue and red steadily. Follow the instructions in " Pairing " to connect to a new device.
