Giacomini GE552Y156 is a volumetric double register thermal energy meter designed to measure consumption in heating and air conditioning operations. It features 3/4" connections, a nominal diameter of DN15, and a nominal flow rate of 1.5 m³/h. With a minimum flow rate of 0.030 m³/h, it can accurately measure even small changes in consumption. The 7-character LCD display provides clear readings, while the lithium battery ensures a long lifespan of up to 10 years. Two PT1000 temperature probes with 1.5 m connection cables allow for precise temperature measurement.

Description
The GE552 thermal energy meters for wireless centralisation are multi-jet, dry dial meters with LCD and 8 character direct reading. In 3/4” and 1” sizes.
Enabled for radio module wireless M-Bus (GE552Y017), for installation on meter. The USB antenna (GE552Y043) with relative software (GE552Y035), should be connected to a PC, from which GE552Y017 radio module data can be received for the centralisation of consumption data.

Installation
The installation of the meter is carried out by replacing the plastic connection point in the metering units. No adaptors or other connection components are necessary. The return temperature probe is integrated into the flow measurement section. The flow temperature probe must be installed and welded onto the delivery unit.

If installation of the wireless module for energy meters GE552Y017 is desired, it is recommended that the module mounted on the meter is configured before installation of the meter itself within the system.
The configuration of the wireless module can only be carried out when the module is installed on the meter.

Accessories for centralisation through wireless M-Bus, GE552-W series
The centralisation of the wireless M-Bus (868 MHz) complies with EN 868 13757 MHz. The consumption data can be transmitted using the following methods:
• WALK-BY mode : data sent to a PC, received by antenna (GE552Y043) connected to USB port.
• REMOTE MODE : data sent to a concentrator (GE552Y044), which allows:
- remote transmission of read data to programmable email addresses;
- remote transmission of data to a PC, through the GSM/GPRS network;
- local download of data to a PC, connected through a USB port.

With the help of easy-to-use configuration software, the device can be configured through the radio signal.
The device can repeat the signal of a maximum of 100 devices, and is simple to use for the individual receiving the data.
