Operación
ADVERTENCIA: Riesgo de electrocución. Antes de usar, pruebe siempre el detector sobre un circuito vivo conocido para verificar la operación apropiada
NOTA sobre interferencia de RF: En el modo voltaje, las señales de RF con proximidad al detector pueden causar que la luz y el tono de voltaje se apareen y causen una indicación constante del tono y de la luz. Espere hasta que la señal de RF desaparezca antes de proceder con la detección de voltaje.
DETECCIÓN DE VOLTAJE
1. Deslice el selector de función a la posición de voltaje.
2. Se iluminará el LED “VOLTAJE”. Si el LED presenta baja intensidad o está apagado, reemplace las baterías.
3. Ajuste la sensibilidad al máximo.
4. Si el detector empieza a zumbar o destellar, que se detenga el zumbador y los destellos.
5. Toque la punta de la sonda al conductor con disminuya lentamente la sensibilidad hasta corriente o inserte del lado de la corriente en un conector de pared..
6. Si hay voltaje CA presente, la luz del d etector destellará y se escuchará un tono de advertencia.
7. Ajuste la sensibilidad como sea necesario para centrar e identificar un conductor activo.
DETECCIÓN DE CORRIENTE
NOTA: Debe haber carga en el circuito, (flujo de corriente) para que funcione el detector de corriente.
1. Deslice el Selector de Función a Corriente.
2. Se iluminará el LED “CORRIENTE”. Si el LED p resenta baja intensidad o está apag ado, reemplace las baterías.
3. Ajuste la sens ibilidad al máximo
4. Si el detector empieza a zumba r o destellar,
5. se detenga el zumbador y los destellos.
Acerque el detector de corriente al conductor
6. disminuya lentamente la sensibilidad hasta que hasta que destelle la punta de corriente y suene el zumbador.
Reduzca len tamente la sensibilidad y acorte la distancia entre el sensor y el conductor para centra e identificar el conductor.
REEMPLAZO DE LA BATE RÍA
1. A pague la unidad
2. Deslice el clip de bolsillo hacia batería.
3. Reemplace las cuatro baterías abajo para exponer el compartimiento de la
LR44 y acomode el clip de bolsillo.

WARRANTY
EXTECH INSTRUMENTS CORPORATION warrants this instrument to be free of defects in parts and workmanship for one year from date of shipment (a six month limited warranty applies on sensors and cables). If it should become necessary to return the instrument for service during or beyond the warranty period, contact the Customer Service
Department at (781) 890-7440 ext. 210 for authorization or visit our website at www.extech.com (click on ‘Contact Extech’ and go to ‘Service Department’ to request an RA number). A Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued before any product is returned to Extech. The sender is responsible for shipping charges, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent damage in transit. This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from action of the user such as misuse, improper wiring, operation outside of specification, improper maintenance or repair, or unauthorized modification. Operation
WARNING: Risk of Electrocution. Before use, always test the detector on a known live circuit to verify proper operation
NOTE on RF Interference: In the voltage mode, RF signals in close proximity to the detector may cause the voltage light and beeper to latch into a constant tone and light indication. Wait until the RF signal has disappeared before proceeding with voltage detection.
VOLTAGE DETECTION

CURRENT DETECTION
NOTE: There must be a load on the circuit (current flow) for the current detection function to work.
1. Slide the Function switch to the Current position.
