Getting Started

For optimal mounting and charging, please follow the detailed instructions within this manual when using the Auto Sense Wireless Charging Mount. iOttie is not liable for possible damages due to product misuse.

Critical Information

Mounting at a perpendicular angle to the mount works best with the proximity sensor.

If mounting at an angle, phone will need to be very close to sensor for arms to open.

Smartphone cases

Reflective Smartphone cases work best. Dark colored or textured cases do not reflect light well, making it difficult for the Proximity Sensor to detect phone. If using a dark colored or textured case, the phone will have to be very close to mount for arms to open automatically.

Compatibility

Before using product, make sure your device is Qi Wireless compatible.

Compatible devices include iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy

S10, S10+, Note9+, and Google Pixel 3.

Use the included iOttie Car Charger and Micro USB Cable. If you do use a third party car charger, use a Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 or equivalent adapter to receive a wireless charge (with compatible devices).

Installation

1. Assembling the Mount

Option B

Windshield Installation or Curved Glass Installation

Choose a location on the windshield and wipe any dust or debris from the surface.

A. Connect the Mount Cradle with the Ball Joint.

B. Then, tighten the Cradle Knob.

2. Selecting a Location

Choose an installation method: Dashboard/Flat Surface (A) or Windshield (B).

Option A

Dashboard or Flat Surface Installation

Choose an area on a flat surface on the vehicle’s dashboard and wipe any dust or debris from the surface. Prior to mounting product, we recommend surface and product be above 40°F.

1. Peel off the film on the pad & stick on the desired installation location. Wait 15-30 minutes for adhesive to adhere before moving on to next step.

2. Peel off the protective film on the Suction

Cup and press mount firmly onto the dashboard pad.

3. Push Locking Lever down to secure mount.

Connecting Power

1.

Plug the micro-USB cable into the USB port on the back of the

Mounting Head.

2. Insert Car Charger into your vehicle’s power port.

Using the Auto Sense Mechanism

Once it is unplugged or car is turned off, the Auto Sense’s internal battery keeps a charge for up to one hour.

Adjusting the Mount

1. Foot Knob

Out of box, the foot knob is set to regular sized phones. Foot will need to be adjusted for plus sized phones or cases with thicker bottoms.

Move the knob down until laser etching is aligned appropriately as shown in line drawing.

Side arms on mount automatically open via silent step motor for one second when phone is detected in front of Proximity Sensor on mount.

2. Once phone is placed in mount, arms will automatically close after one second. Qi wireless charging will start immediately.

Releasing Device

Buttons under the light on both sides of device can also open and close the arms. One or both buttons can be pressed.

• The Auto Sense is powered via a micro-USB cable and coil cell battery.

There is no on/off switch on the device.

Once it is plugged in, the device will remain on unless the vehicle shuts off power when in parking mode.

3. Telescopic Knob

Located on top of Telescopic Arm, loosen to extend the arm, and tighten to secure distance.

4. Pivot Knob

Located on the side of the Mount

Base, turning allows you to pivot telescopic arm. Tighten to secure position.

Qi Alignment Guide

The Qi Receiver Coil is usually located in the center area of the phone. Check with your phone's manufacturer for Qi coil location. Below are some examples for commonly used phones.

For larger/plus phones or larger cases, knob on mount will need to be adjusted as indicated by laser etching on back for proper alignment with Qi coils.

The Qi coil on the mount is located at the top, above the iOttie logo.

Les étuis de téléphones intelligents réfléchissants fonctionnent le mieux. Les

étuis texturés ou de couleur foncée ne réfléchissent pas bien la lumière ce qui rend la détection du téléphone difficile par le capteur de proximité. Si vous utilisez un étui texturé ou de couleur foncée, le téléphone devrait être très proche du support pour que les bras s’ouvrent automatiquement.

Compatibilité

Avant d’utiliser le produit, assurez-vous que votre appareil est compatible avec Qi Wireless. Les appareils compatibles incluent iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, Note9+, and Google Pixel 3.

Installation

1. Assemblage du montage

Option B

Installation sur pare-brise ou installation sur verre incurvé

Choisissez un emplacement sur le pare-brise et éliminez toute poussière ou débris de la surface.

Installation sur tableau de bord ou sur surface plane

Choisissez une zone sur une surface plane du tableau de bord du véhicule et

éliminez toute poussière ou débris de la surface. Avant de monter le produit, nous recommandons que la température de la surface et du produit soit supérieure à 40°F.

1. Retirez le film du tableau de bord puis collez-le sur le lieu d’installation désiré.

Attendez 15 à 30 minutes pour que l’adhésif adhère avant de ne passer à l’étape suivante.

Retirez le film protecteur de la ventouse puis appuyez-la fermement sur la surface plane du tableau de bord.

3. Enclenchez le levier de verrouillage vers le bas pour mettre en

œuvre la succion.

Connexion de l’alimentation

Ajustement de l’assemblage

1. Vis du pied

Hors de la boîte, le bouton de pied est réglé selon les téléphones de taille normale. Le pied devra être réglé pour les téléphones de grande taille ou les étuis ayant des boutons plus épais.

Faites le pied descendre jusqu’à le marquage soit aligné de manière appropriée comme indiqué dans le schéma unifilaire.

Les bras latéraux sur le support s’ouvrent automatiquement via le moteur pas à pas silencieux pour une seconde lorsque le téléphone est détecté devant le détecteur de proximité sur le support.

Les boutons sur les deux côtés du dispositif peuvent également ouvrir et fermer les bras. Un ou deux boutons peuvent être pressés.

• Le mécanisme de détection automatique est alimenté via un câble micro-USB et une pile bouton. Il n’y a pas d’interrupteur marche/arrêt sur le dispositif. Une fois branché, le dispositif restera allumé sauf si le véhicule coupe l’alimentation en mode de stationnement.

2. Une fois que le téléphone est placé dans le support, les bras se fermeront automatiquement après une seconde. Le chargement sans fil Qi commencera immédiatement.

3. Bouton téléscopique

Localisé en haut du bras télescopique, relâcher pour étendre le bras, et resserrer pour sécuriser la longueur.

4. Bouton pivot

Localisé sur le côté de la base de support, tourner vous permet de pivoter le bras télescopique.

Resserrer pour sécuriser la position.

Guide d’alignement des Qi

La bobine du récepteur Qi est généralement située dans la partie centrale du téléphone. Consultez le fabricant de votre téléphone pour connaître l’emplacement de la bobine Qi.

Pour les téléphones plus grandes ou les étuis plus larges, le bouton sur le support devra être réglé comme indiqué par les marques qui apparaissent sur le dos pour arriver à un bon alignement avec les bobines Qi.

La bobine Qi sur le support se situe en haut, au-dessus du logo iOttie.

Custodie smartphone

Le custodie che riflettono la luce sono le più adatte. Le custodie ruvide o di colore scuro, non riflettendo bene la luce, rendono difficile la rilevazione del telefono da parte del Sensore di Prossimità. Se si usa una custodia scura o ruvida, le braccia si apriranno automaticamente solo se il telefono è molto vicino alla montatura.

Compatibilità

Prima di usare il prodotto, assicurarsi che il tuo dispositivo sia compatibile con

Wireless Qi.I dispositivi compatibili sono: iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone XR,

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, Note9+, e Google Pixel 3.

Scegliere una posizione sul parabrezzo e asciugare la polvere o i detriti dalla superficie.

Scegliere un’area su una superficie piana sul curscotto del veicolo e asciugare la polvere o i detriti dalla superficie. Prima di procedere con la montatura si consiglia di controllare che la superficie ed il prodotto siano almeno sopra i

40°F.

1. Staccare il film sul cruscotto e attaccarlo sul luogo di installazione desiderato. Aspettare 15-

30 minuti perché l’adesivo sia ben fissato prima di procedere al passo successivo.

2. Staccare la pellicolo protettiva sulla ventosa e premere saldamente il supporto sul cruscotto.

3. Premere la leva di bloccaggio verso il basso per attivare l’aspirazione.

1.

Le braccia laterali della montatura si aprono automaticamente tramite motorino silenzioso per un secondo, quando il telefono viene rilevato davanti al Sensore di Prossimità della montatura.

2. Una volta che il telefono viene posizionato sulla montatura, le braccia si chiuderanno dopo un secondo. La carica Qi Wireless inizierà immediatamente.

I tasti ai lati del dispositivo possono aprire e chiudere le braccia. E’ possibile premerne uno o entrambi.

• L’Auto Sense funziona tramite cavo micro

USB o a batteria. Non vi è alcun tasto di accensione o di spegnimento sul dispositivo.

Una volta attaccato il dispositivo rimane acceso a meno che il veicolo, in modalità parcheggio, non stacchi la corrente.

1. Manopola del piede

Il pomello del piede, alla vendita, è posizionato per telefoni di normali dimensioni. Il piede dovrà essere regolato per telefoni particolarmente grandi o custodie più spesse.

Muovere il piede in basso fino a quando i segni di posizionamento non corrispondono come da disegno.

3. Manopola telescopico

Situato sulla parte superiore del braccio telescopico, allentare per estendere il braccio e stringere per allacciare la distanza.

4. Manopola girevole

Situato sul lato della base del supporto, la rotazione si lascia di ruotare il braccio telescopico.

Guida di allineamento della Qi

La bobina del ricevitore del Qi si trova di solito nella parte centrale del telefono.

Verifica con il produttore del telefono la posizione della bobina Qi. Di seguito sono riportati alcuni esempi dei telefoni più usati.

Per telefoni o custodie più grandi, il pomello della montatura deve essere regolato come da segni sul retro, in modo da avere il perfetto allineamento con le bobine Qi.

Kritische Information

Die Montage in einem senkrechten

Winkel zur Halterung funktioniert am besten mit dem Näherungssensor.

Wenn das Smartphone in einem Winkel montiert werden soll, muss es sich sehr nahe am Sensor befinden, damit sich die Arme öffnen können.

Smartphone-Hüllen

Reflektierende Smartphone-Hüllen funktionieren am besten. Bei Verwendung einer dunkel gefärbten oder strukturierten Hülle muss sich das Smartphone sehr nahe an der Halterung befinden, damit sich die Arme automatisch öffnen können.

Kompatibilität

Überprüfen Sie vor der Verwendung des Produkts, ob Ihr Mobiltelefon mit Qi

Wireless kompatibel ist. Zu den kompatiblen Geräten gehören iPhone X, iPhone

Verwendung des Auto Sense-

Mechanismus

Sobald die Vorrichtung vom Stromnetz getrennt oder das Auto gestartet wird, ist der interne Akku von Auto Sense ungefähr eine Stunde lang geladen.

Einstellung der Halterung

1. Fußknopf

Der Standfußregler ist standardmäßig auf Smartphones normaler Größe eingestellt. Der Standfuß muss für

übergroße Smartphones oder Hüllen mit dickerem Unterteil angepasst werden.

Den Fuß nach unten bewegen, bis die Markierung entsprechend der

Linienzeichnung ausgerichtet ist.

Sekunde über einen leisen

Schrittmotor, wenn das Smartphone vom Näherungssensor der Halterung erkannt wird.

Die Tasten auf beiden Seiten der

Vorrichtung können die Arme ebenfalls

öffnen und schließen. Es können eine oder beide Tasten gedrückt werden.

• Die Stromversorgung von Auto Sense erfolgt

über ein Mikro-USB-Kabel. Die Vorrichtung verfügt über keinen Ein-/Ausschalter. Nach dem Einstecken bleibt die Vorrichtung eingeschaltet, es sei denn, das Fahrzeug schaltet sich im Parkmodus aus.

2. Sobald das Smartphone in der

Halterung platziert ist, schließen sich nach einer Sekunde die Arme automatisch. Das drahtlose Qi-Laden beginnt sofort.

3. Teleskopknopf

Sich auf dem Teleskoparm befindend, lockern Sie den Arm und ziehen Sie ihn fest, um den Abstand zu sichern.

4. Drehknopf

An der Seite der Montagesockel gelegen, durch Drehen können

Sie den Teleskoparm schwenken.

Ziehen Sie in fester Position fest.

Qi-Ausrichtungshilfe

Die Qi-Empfängerspule befindet sich in der Regel im mittleren Bereich des

Telefons. Informieren Sie sich beim Hersteller Ihres Mobiltelefons über die

Position der Qi-Spule.

Bei größeren (Plus)-Smartphones oder größeren Hüllen muss der Knopf an der Halterung entsprechend der Markierung auf der Rückseite eingestellt werden, um eine korrekte Ausrichtung mit den Qi-Spulen zu gewährleisten.

Bitte der untenstehenden Anleitung folgen, um das Smartphone mit der

Vorrichtung für eine optimale drahtlose Ladung auszurichten.

Información Importante

El sensor de proximidad funciona mejor si el soporte está montado en

ángulo perpendicular.

Si se lo monta en ángulo, el teléfono deberá estar muy cerca del sensor para que los brazos se abran.

Fundas para teléfonos

Las fundas reflectivas para teléfonos son las que mejor funcionan. Las fundas oscuras o con textura no reflejan bien la luz y le hacen más difícil al sensor de proximidad detectar el teléfono. Si usa una funda oscura o con textura, el teléfono deberá estar muy cerca del soporte para que los brazos se abran de manera automática.

Compatibilidad

Antes de usar el producto, asegúrese de que su dispositivo sea compatible con Qi Wireless. Los dispositivos compatibles incluyen iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, Note9+, and Google Pixel 3.

Carga inalámbrica en el vehículo

1. Colocación del soporte

Elija un lugar en el parabrisas y limpie el polvo o residuos de la superficie.

Elija un método de instalación: Tablero de instrumentos/superficie plana (A) o parabrisas/vidrio curvado (B).

Elija un área en una superficie plana en el tablero del vehículo y limpie todo el polvo o residuos de la misma.Antes de montar el producto, recomendamos que la superficie esté a más de 40°F.

Quite el papel protector de la almohadilla del tablero y péguela en el lugar que desee. Espere entre 15-30 minutos antes de proceder al siguiente paso.

Quite el papel protector de la ventosa y presione firmemente el soporte sobre la almohadilla del tablero de instrumentos.

Presione la palanca de bloqueo hacia abajo para asegurar el soporte.

Conexión a la corriente

Ajuste del soporte

1. Perilla de la base

La perilla de ajuste del pie viene regulada de fábrica para teléfonos de tamaño normal.

Si se desea colocar teléfonos de mayor tamaño o con fundas más gruesas, deberá regular el pie.

Una vez que el dispositivo detecta que el teléfono está frente al sensor de proximidad, un motor paso a paso abre sus brazos laterales de forma automática durante un segundo.

Los botones a ambos lados del dispositivo también sirven para abrir y cerrar los brazos. Pueden presionarse uno o dos botones.

• La función de autodetección se alimenta a través de un cable micro-

USB. El dispositivo no tiene botón de encendido o apagado. Una vez enchufado, el dispositivo seguirá encendido hasta que se corte la alimentación proveniente del vehículo.

2. Luego de colocar el teléfono en el soporte, los brazos se cierran automáticamente transcurrido un segundo y el sistema de carga inalámbrica Qi comienza a funcionar automáticamente.

3. Perilla del brazo retráctil

Use la perilla ubicada en la parte superior del brazo extensible, aflójela para extender el brazo y apriétela para fijar su longitud.

4. Perilla del pivote

Use la perilla ubicada en un lado de la base del soporte, al aflojarla se puede mover el brazo extensible.

Apriétela para fijar la posición.

Guía de alineación de Qi

La bobina de carga Qi usualmente esta ubicada en el centro de su teléfono.

Verifique con el fabricante de su teléfono la ubicación de la bobina Qi. A continuación hay algunos ejemplos de teléfonos de uso común.

Para los teléfonos de gran tamaño o con fundas más gruesas, es necesario regular la perilla del soporte siguiendo las marcas en la parte posterior para que el teléfono quede bien alineado con las bobinas de la montura.
