BVD-403x

Doorstation BVD-403х is intended for operation in VIZIT video doorphones (Comfort Series).

The following models are available:

Doorstation BVD-403x operates together with electromagnetic locks VIZIT-ML400(S) VIZIT-ML300 .

The product is compatible with similar electromagnetic locks with 20-Ohm impedance and a built-in degaussing module.

Electromechanical locks with 10-Ohm impedance can be used as well.

Electromagnetic lock should be used together with

Keys Controller VIZIT-KTM600R or VIZIT-KTM602R .

Subscriber devices are VIZIT® products:

- apartment handsets (UKPs);

VIZIT-M monitors of Series 400.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The product does not contain voltage above 25V .

Do not make any connections or repair when the power is on.

Connect the grounding wire of the doorstation to the protective ground.

Take care not to spill any liquids or chemically active substances on the product. Switch the power supply off, before cleaning the doorstation. Clean by wiping with dry soft cloth. Do not use any liquid cleaners, aerosol cleaners or abrasive agents.

INSTALLATION

Before mounting, examine carefully the operating instruction for the installation order and wiring diagrams.

The doorstation is mounted on a wall near your entrance door. The skew base provides 20° turn and allows either leftside or right-side mounting.

To reduce possibility of external noises influence on image, use 75-Ohm coaxial cable for video circuits.

FUNCTIONAL CHECK AND OPERATION ORDER

Before switching the power on, verify all electric connections.

Turn the Power Supply on.

Press the A button on the doorstation. A beep sounds at the doorstation and monitor /apartment handset while the button remains pressed, image appears on the monitor’s screen.

Pick up the handset and check duplex intercom.

Check image on the screen. Adjust image brightness, contrast and saturation, if needed.

Press the button on the monitor / apartment handset to release the door lock. The doorstation produces a beep while the button remains pressed. Release the button to return into intercom mode.

Hang up the handset. The system goes into STAND-BY mode.

Note: When called, a subscriber can press the button without picking up the handset to release the door lock.

The system returns into STAND-BY mode when the button is released.

Intercom is available within 60 ± 5 seconds after picking up the handset. The system returns into STAND-BY mode automatically in 60 ± 5 seconds after picking up the handset or the button pressing without picking up the handset.

A subscriber can activate door zone videomonitoring (60 ± 5 seconds) just by pressing the MONITOR button at any time.

The built-in camera or outdoor one provides video signal for the monitor.

During videomonitoring a subscriber can also activate duplex intercom by picking up the handset.

The system returns into STAND-BY mode either automatically in 60 seconds or after hanging up the handset.
