CLEANING

WARNING! Before you attempt to clean the appliance screen or cabinet, always disconnect the appliance from the mains power and remove the plug from the main power outlet.

Clean the appliance with a soft dry cloth only. Never use any harsh chemical cleaning agent or water as this may damage the appliance.

WARNING! Never allow water splashes to enter the appliance. Do not immerse in water.

WARNING! Never remove the rear cover. Do not attempt to service this equipment.

OPERATION

1. Open the battery door and insert 2 x AAA size batteries. Be sure that the polarity (+ & -) matches the markings inside the battery compartment.

2. Turn the band selector to the AM or FM band.

3. Switch the radio on by turning the on/off volume control clockwise until a ‘click’ is heard.

4. Tune into the desired station by using the tuning dial.

5. Extend the telescopic rod antenna for maximum FM reception.

6. Turn the radio off by turning the on/off volume dial anti-clockwise until a ‘click’ is heard. Always turn the radio off after use to conserve battery power.
