Summary

New installations of Microsoft ActiveSync may not connect to the TSCe ™ version 10.0 data collector.

Description

After you install the Microsoft ActiveSync software for the first time, and create a Trimble

Survey Controller ™ (ActiveSync) device in the Trimble Data Transfer utility, Microsoft

ActiveSync may not connect to the TSCe data collector.

This does not affect you if you transfer data from the TSCe without using Microsoft

ActiveSync.

Procedure

From the Trimble Survey Controller version 10.0 CD:

1. Use the Browse button to navigate to the \Trimble Survey Controller\Utilities folder.

This will initialize the registry settings required for Microsoft ActiveSync to connect to the

TSCe data collector.
