The maximum recording time is approximately 1.5 hours for one track, and approximately 13 hours total for all memories.

Press the [SETUP] button and [MEMORY] button simultaneously. Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select "WRITE," and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob. Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select the save-destination memory, and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.

Hold down the pedal for two seconds or longer during playback or overdubbing to undo the recording or the last overdubbing. Hold down the pedal once again for two seconds or longer to redo the undone action.

Connect a separately sold footswitch or expression pedal to the STOP/MEMORY SHIFT jack. This lets you control a variety of functions: stop, switch memories, operate various parameters, etc.

Press the RHYTHM [TEMPO] button to set the tempo. Each press of the button switches the rhythm on, off, and ready to play. You can record while listening to a rhythm at the tempo you specify.

How to clear recorded phrases or erase memory data on the RC-5?

To clear the current recorded phrase, hold the pedal switch for at least two seconds while playback is stopped. To erase memory data, press [SETUP] and [MEMORY] simultaneously and use the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select the clear option.
