Cobra Acoustic ACA-004
The Cobra Acoustic ACA-004 is a versatile 8-channel line or microphone mixer, suitable for a wide range of applications.
Functions
The mixer features:
- Eight mono ¼” jack inputs
- Two mono ¼” jack outputs
- Individual level controls for each input and output channel

Before Use
• Before you start using this unit, please check if there’s no transportation damage. Should there be any, do not use the device and consult your dealer first.
• Important: This device left our factory in perfect condition and well packaged. It is absolutely necessary for the user to strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused by mishandling is not subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or problems caused by disregarding this user manual.
• Keep this booklet in a safe place for future consultation. If you sell the amplifier, be sure to add this user manual.
• To protect the environment, please try to recycle the packing material as much as possible.
Safety Instructions:
Caution: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the top cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel only.
Caution: Remember excessive loud noise can seriously damage long-term hearing, always keep volumes as low as possible.
• To avoid condensation forming inside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when bringing it into a warm room after transport.
• This unit is for indoor use only.
• Don’t place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. If a foreign object enters the unit, immediately disconnect the mains power.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the appliance.
• Keep the unit away from children.
• Inexperienced persons should not operate this device.
• Maximum safe ambient operating temperature is 40 degrees. Don’t use this unit at higher ambient temperatures.
• Always unplug the unit when it is not used for a long time or before you start servicing.
• The power supply should always be in perfect condition. Switch the unit immediately off when the power supply cable is squashed or damaged, or there is any damage to the power supply casing.
• In order to prevent electric shock, do not open the cover, there are no user serviceable parts inside.
• In the event of serious operating problems, stop using the appliance and contact your dealer immediately.
• Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the unit.
• Always use the power supply that is supplied with the product. If the power supply needs to be replaced always use one with the correct power, voltage and connector.
Description
This is a professional and versatile mixer suitable for line or microphones levels. The mixer can be used as an 8 mono input and 1 mono output mixer, two separate 4 channel mono-in-out mixers with independent outputs, or a 4 channel stereo input mixer with one stereo output. Channel A and B have switches for line level or microphone level. All connections are via ¼” mono jack plugs. Each input and output channel has independent volume controls.

Functions
1. For connection for 12-volt power supply.
2. On off power switch.
3. Output Connections A and B, ¼” jack mono. For connection to a mixer or amplifier.
4. Input Connections 1-8, ¼” jack mono. From line level or microphone sources.
5. Four Level Controls for Channel A.
6. Four Level Controls for Channel B.
7. Microphone and line level switches. Use this to make Channel A or B suitable for either line level inputs or microphone level inputs
8. Output volume controls A and B.
9. Power and Peak lights. Light up when the mixer is receiving power. They will flash more intensely more the signal is being over driven.
10. Mono/Stereo switch. This converts the mixer to either 8 mono input and 1 mono output mode or 4 stereo input and 1 stereo output mode/2x 4 mono input 1 mono output mode.
11. Open the plastic compartment on the bottom for battery connection.
