OPV-1C

Enables Audio/Video Input for 2005-2008 Porsche Cayenne vehicles.

What’s in the box

5. Fakra to RCA cable (Video)

7. USB cable (have the “A” connector side of the cable accessible to the passenger side of the vehicle cabin, but hidden from view).

Radio Removal

1. Remove black trim bezel around radio and climate controls with a plastic pry tool.

2. Remove (4) T20 Torx bolts two on each side of the radio.

3. Gently slide the radio out, being careful not to damage the connectors behind the radio.

4. Remove all connectors from behind the radio.

Each connector is keyed differently, so don’t worry about their individual positions, the connectors are keyed and only fit in the radio one way.

Pin (1) CAN High (In) – Purple wire (Vehicle side)

Pin (2) CAN Low (In)– Brown wire (Vehicle side)

Pin (3) Ground – Black wire

Pin (4) – Video-In-Motion Trigger – White/Red wire

Pin (5) – CAN High (Out) – Purple wire (Radio side)

Pin (6) – CAN Low (Out) – Brown wire (Radio side)

Pin (7) - +12Volt Constant Power – Red wire

CAN BUS Filter Installation: In the Factory Radio Harness cut the CAN wires ( CAN High Orange/Purple wire and CAN Low

Orange/Brown wire). Connect the Purple wire from Pin (1) to the Orange/Purple wire on the Vehicle side of the factory radio harness and connect the Brown wire from Pin (2) to the Orange/Brown wire on the Vehicle side of the factory radio harness.

Connect the Purple wire from Pin (5) to the Orange/Purple wire on the Radio side of the factory radio harness and connect the

Brown wire from Pin (6) to the Orange/Brown wire on the Radio side of the factory radio harness. Connect Black wires from the interface harness and filter harness to Ground. Connect the Red wire from the interface harness and filter harness to +12V constant source.

Connect the Fakra to RCA cable to the Green Fakra connector on back of radio and the RCA connect to the video output of your video source.

Optional: If the Video-In-Motion needs to be selectively disabled, connect the White/Red wire to +12V power using a toggle switch.

Programming and Operating

Programming Interface: Press the steering wheel Mute button 4 times to activate the A/V functions of the interface. The radio will display Service and then the radio will reboot. After the reboot is completed the A/V interface will be functional.

Operation: Use the AV button to access the audio/video functions of the interface.

Agreement: End user agrees to use this product in compliance with all State and Federal laws. NAV-TV Corp. would not be held liable for misuse of its product.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately and return product to place of pu rch ase.
