Eli Ezer EDL-20D
The Eli Ezer EDL-20D is an indirect diagnostic lens that can be used with a slit lamp or ophthalmoscope to diagnose the rear and bottom of the eye's vitreous body. It has a wide-angle view, large image, and strong third-dimension, which makes it ideal for observing the retina, second nerve, macula luteal, and capillary vessels.
The lens is easy to use and can be held far enough from the patient's eye so that the retinal image has the same diameter as the lens. It is also important to keep the illumination sources as dark as possible to minimize reflections and image contrast.

STRUCTURE
Indirect diagnostic lens consist of three parts: lens, lens holder and fixed ring.
USE
1. As a kind of iatrical magnifier, indirect diagnostic lens has a wide-angle. It can be used with slit lamp microscope retinoscope to diagnose the rear and bottom of the eye’s vitreous body.
2. When used with slit lamp or ophthalmoscope with the lens, retina, second nerve, macula luteal and capillary vessel can be observed expressly.
Without touching the patient’s eye, the image has a wide angle of view, large image and strong third dimension etc.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. The silver ring on the lens holder should be held toward the patient’s eye during examination, which can ensure the right using direction and may provide for best image quality.
2. Keep the lens centering on the patient’s pupil.
3. Hold the lens far enough from the patient’s eye so that the retinal image has the same diameter with the lens.
4. Keep the illumination sources as dark as possible to minimize reflections and image contrast.
5. Keep the lens clean to minimize glare from the lens surface.
CLEANING
Clean with alcohol or the mixture of aether and alcohol.
